About: I have over 10 years of pet and house sitting. I have the skills needed for basic care of your pet as well as senior pets and pets with special needs. I will be watering any plants, picking up mail, and light cleaning. I’m flexible with each client based on individual needs. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a teenager, starting with stray cats. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, mice, and rats. I currently have birds and a cat. About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. We use LIMA & positive reinforcement training methods during our visits I also work full time so at the moment I am only available 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. About: I live in the Sacramento Delta in a quiet neighborhood. Great neighborhood for walks and a nice fenced corner lot yard for your pup to run around in. I live with my elderly father who enjoys meeting new doggy friends. 24 hr supervision since I work remotely! I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks. Your doggy will recieve a good amount of outdoor time and have an active and stimulating day. I’m comfortable with your dog sleeping in bed with me but respect if you prefer them to sleep in a crate. I work remotely so I have no issue staying at your house as well!
