About: I was blessed to have started my animal care experience in high school when my mom bought our first house across the street from the local animal shelter. From there I worked with cats, dogs, horses, small animals, etc until I eventually became a member of FFA in my high school. In FFA I really fell in love with animal care and what it takes to full raise an animal. After graduating I went on to study animal science at Oregon State University for a short time before moving back home to California. Now in my free time I love using my skills and knowledge to help my local community with pet care when needed. I’m currently a student and previous first responder whom is working towards another health care certification and am looking for flexible opportunities to fit in with my school schedule. When it comes to my own pets and my clients, I am very strict with adhering to boundaries and rules as it can directly affect safety. My own cat is not allowed outside even though we live in a gated community. Any rules the clients make will be adhered to.

“I know my kitty is very particular, so when Dalal followed the instructions to a T my Charlise was very Happy ... I have had her for her entire life but I had to leave my Charlise with a friend for a few years while i found new living arrangements for both of us. This gives her a great deal of stress when I am not home. We came back to a cat that was absolutely unaffected by our getaway. I am very Happy with Dalal she certainly has a way with animals.”

About: I am a woman passionate about the care and well-being of both people and animals. In my native country, Colombia, I worked as a nurse for several years, gaining experience in humane treatment, medical care and service with empathy. I have always felt a deep love for domestic pets, especially dogs and cats, and I have dedicated part of my time to taking care of them and understanding their needs. I currently live in the United States, where I am embarking on a new personal and professional path. I am in the process of developing a small business related to pet care, combining my vocation of service with my love for animals. In addition, I am studying English to better integrate into my environment, expand my opportunities and continue to grow as a person and professional. I consider myself a committed, responsible and compassionate person, with the firm conviction that care begins with small gestures, both with human beings and with our animal companions. Taking care of a pet would be naturally integrated into my daily routine, since I have the willingness and time to attend to their basic and emotional needs. In the mornings, I could spend time feeding her, making sure she has fresh water and taking her for a walk if it's a dog, or spend a few minutes playing if it's a cat or other pet. During the day, even if I have other responsibilities, I would organize myself to take short breaks that allow interaction and monitoring of your well-being. In the afternoons and evenings, you would allocate time for your exercise, game or training, as needed, and perform a quick cleaning of your designated space or area. On weekends, you could spend more time on outdoor activities, visits to the vet if necessary, baths or deep cleaning of your surroundings. I consider that the bond with a pet also brings emotional benefits, so taking care of it would not be a burden, but part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Pet care in my house: When I take care of pets in my home, I have the space and resources to offer them a comfortable and safe experience. I would start by making sure that the environment is suitable for each type of pet. If it is a dog, he would organize his walks and exercise times according to his energy needs. If it's a cat or a small pet, I would make sure it has enough space to move, toys to entertain itself and a quiet area to rest. During the day, he would plan meals at their established times, keep his area clean and check that his hygiene needs (such as cat litter box or rodent cage cleaning) are up to date. Interactions with pets would be regular, making sure to play, socialize and provide care according to their personality and needs. In addition, if the pet requires medication or special care, I would adapt my routine to include these additional care. Pet care in a client's home: When I take care of pets in a client's home, my focus would be to make sure to follow the owner's instructions to the letter to maintain the routine and well-being of the pet. Before starting, I would do a home assessment to know the space, care products and any specific needs of the pet. This would also help me adapt quickly and be as discreet and respectful as possible in your home. In the case of dogs, I would follow their meal and walk schedules, and I would also make sure to interact with them according to their habits and preferences. For cats or other pets, it would also provide activities to keep them stimulated and in a relaxed atmosphere. In the same way, I would take care of the cleaning, making sure to keep the client's home as I found it. In addition, he would maintain open communication with the owner, informing them about the state of the pet, any important details or concerns.
About: I’ve grew up with animals. They have always been my best friend especially on times of distress. I started taking care of other people’s pets when I was 14. Owners would be out of town and need someone to take very good care of them. I would walk them bath them and feed them. I started house pet sitting when I was 18 from small dogs to big dogs. I cat sat and fish sat. I currently work a part time job which helps me have a flexible schedule. I work every other weekend but have those other weekend to pet sit. I make sure to go over any special instructions with owner and have a set schedule to walk and feed pets along with any medication that needs to be taken if needed. I make sure they have play time and spend time with them.

11. Erin T.
“I am writing this letter on behalf of my sister, Ein Tomlinson who is interested in a position as a pet sitter for Rover. I believe her genuine love for animals and outstanding qualities would make her an ideal fit for said position. One of Erin's qualities would be her reliability. One prime example would be when she watched a fellow neighbor (Mr. Stanley Roadman's) dogs and said dogs needed to take proper medications for a course of 1 to 2 weeks, even spending time with them overnight while their owners were out of town. Another quality Erin has is her excellent communication skills, especially understanding the personalities of the animals she takes care of as well as her natural affinity for animals by demonstrating compassion. Furthermore, Erin is fit and active which is arguably another crucial trait to have for this role. She wholeheartedly enjoys outdoor activities and casual walks in the park with our pet dog Buttons, ensuring that his health and happiness are well maintained. Overall, I strongly believe that Erin would be an excellent candidate for a Pet Sitter position. Her reliability, excellent communication skills, and passion would definitely make her an excellent choice.”

12. Caroline M.
“I have known Caroline for many years and I have witnessed her love of animals and her desire to care for them. She's currently the owner of a cat and in the past has owned dogs from time to time. 14. Samantha A.
“I have two very large and very loving dogs who need someone with a lot of love for animals and Samantha was perfect for them. They require a lot of attention (hugs and kisses, mostly) and she was more than able to provide. It’s very clear that Samantha is an animal lover herself who knows how to take care of dogs. We had to leave her at our home for a week when we went away, she fed, watered, walked and played with my dogs for the time we were gone. It definitely made leaving just that much easier knowing they were in the hands of someone who was more than capable of taking care of them. If you’re considering walking or sitting, Samantha is absolutely your girl. She will go above and beyond to make sure that you and your furry friends are comfortable and happy.”

15. Ariana A.

17. Lady M.
“She is an enthusiastic and dedicated young animal caretaker, who carries with her not only her unconditional love for living beings, but also a solid nursing training acquired in her native country, Colombia. With a deep vocation for animal welfare and great empathy for human beings, he has managed to combine both passions, providing high quality care to the pets he attends. Since his arrival in the United States, he has found fertile ground to grow both personally and professionally. Through his entrepreneurship, he has begun to offer pet care services, where he combines his medical experience with his love for animals, creating a unique approach that includes not only walks and games, but also specialized care for animals with health needs. Her nursing training has allowed her to offer care to pets that require medication, post-surgical treatments or special care due to chronic diseases, standing out for her ability to quickly identify any sign of discomfort or change in their behavior. As she delves into American culture, she has been able to adapt and learn from the environment that surrounds her, not only in terms of animal care, but also in her understanding of the language and the various perspectives on the welfare of pets. Taking advantage of his curiosity and desire to improve himself, he has begun to explore more about animal behavior, as well as about the trends and innovative approaches to animal care in his new community. Thanks to his commitment to learning the language, he has increasingly integrated with pet owners and other entrepreneurs, creating valuable connections that have allowed him to expand his professional horizons. American culture, rich in diversity and with a highly developed approach to animal welfare, has been a constant source of inspiration for it. In addition, his ability to connect with people from different origins has allowed him to create a network of loyal and satisfied customers, who value his close treatment, his professional approach and his deep understanding of the needs of his pets. She is an example of perseverance and passion, and strives to continue growing both in her business and in her personal development, always looking for ways to improve animal welfare and contribute to the care of the community.”
