About: I have owned dogs my entire life varying in all kinds of ages, breeds, and health issues. My dogs are my world and I will treat your dog as if they are my own. I have a flexible schedule being in real estate so that makes it easy for me to schedule these extra dog walkings or check in's for my neighbors. I personally have a dog door with a fenced yard for my two dogs and have spent a lot of time training them so I trust them with the dog door open when I leave the house. For other people's pets, I will of course follow their rules if they crate or leave them free roaming in the house.
“Machinery was great with our pups! She was punctual and we had no issues with any of her visits. She was able to handle the energy of one dog and the strength of another with no problems. We will definitely be booking with her again in the near future and we highly recommend her to anyone else needs care for the fur babies.”

“Ruth did an incredible job taking care of my dog Ember while I was away for the weekend. Punctual, attentive and very kind with animals. I got photos and updates from every walk. My dog warmed right up to her. Followed instructions beautifully and I will always recommend her! Thanks again Ruth!”

About: I customize every visit to fit your dog’s needs and always send detailed updates so you know how everything went. I’m certified in Pet First Aid and currently working toward my canine training certification. Whether your pup prefers a traditional walk or a treadmill walk/run, I’m happy to do either. Looking for something a little different? I’m currently the only person in the area offering mobile treadmill sessions in a fully climate-controlled van, giving dogs a fun, safe way to get their exercise no matter the weather! 🐾 I am self-employed and a toddler mom to one. My business is dogs and I find this job rewarding and fun! Aside from vacation times, I'm available most days to spoil your pup. I have two senior dogs Julius the husky and Athena the border collie, as well as Theo the pomapoo who's 5. Big dogs are my favorite but I also love cuddling the little ones. I do not mind what you would call "aggressive" breeds. Husky's have also gotten a bad wrap about being "destructive" and for the most part, it's just not warranted. If I do feel aggression from your pup that could cause serious injury, I will step away from the home and call to ask for recommendations on how to approach them. If it does not seem to be working, I will work with you to find alternate care so that you aren't stranded. Dogs are allowed to have bad days too, and I won't give up easily.
“Michael was fantastic! He always shows up on time and was incredibly patient with our nervous dog. He took the time to let our dog get comfortable with him and even brushed him out, which was a nice touch. Waylon absolutely loves going on long walks, and we’re excited to continue booking with Michael regularly in the future!”

“We LOVE Lana and so does our dog, June! She is trustworthy, thorough, and takes such great care of our baby. Highly recommend Lana for all of your pet needs! We are so grateful for her!”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Pumpkin! She walked Pumpkin and made sure he was fed while I was away, giving me total peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares about pets, and I appreciated her reliability and communication. Highly recommend her for anyone needing a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: Hi! My name is Ana, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who understands how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I treat every animal in my care like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats. From energetic pups who love long walks and playtime, to independent cats who prefer a calm presence and gentle attention. I’m comfortable handling a variety of needs and routines. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow detailed instructions to keep your pets on their normal schedule. I know how hard it can be to leave them, so I prioritize communication and will always send updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident and for your animals to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for until you return home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and be available throughout the day. Because I don’t work a traditional 9–5 job, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feedings, and playtime. While my daily routine centers around my children, I do not have a rigid set schedule, which means I can easily accommodate drop-ins, and walks with advance notice. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches and will receive plenty of supervision, care, and affection. I’m happy to communicate about specific timing needs to make sure your pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. I provide detailed visit summaries so you always know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. After each visit, you’ll receive a thorough description of our time together, along with updates and photos for peace of mind. Each visit can include: • Walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Playtime with their favorite toys • Potty breaks and routine check-ins • Fresh food and water as needed • Lots of love and attention My goal is to keep your pet’s routine consistent and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
About: I have extensive experience in working with both large and small companion animals! I love gaining opportunities to further my knowledge on animal care by working with other people’s animals alongside my own. I am currently training two horses and an 8mo old puppy, and would love the chance to work with others. My utmost priority is the safety and happiness of your animals and that will never change. When it comes to weekdays I am mostly available on the mornings of mondays, wednesdays, and fridays as I have college on tuesdays and thursdays. My afternoons on all weekdays are dedicated to working with and training horses and riders at a barn I volunteer at. Lessons on the weekend are usually in the mornings which leave afternoons open for further pet care inquiries. I spend a lot of time making sure my pets feel loved by me and listening when they tell me something. When it comes to my horses I tend to exercise them regularly while also spoiling them a smidge and spending tons of time with them outside of riding them. I am a love bug when it comes to my dog, I play with them tons, provide them with plenty of toys and spend tons of time with them as caring for her is a shared responsibility between me and the other adults in my house. For my lizard he spends a ton of time free roaming in my room while getting handled plenty. They all have their own varying diets but all diets are handled with care so we can avoid complications down the road should a brand prove to be bad for our animals.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, and keeping pets on their normal routines. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I always make time to follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for pets. I make sure pets are supervised, well cared for, and kept in a clean, calm environment. About: Hi, I’m Kaylee! I’m based in Rockwall and I live with four dogs, so I understand better than most what different personalities, energy levels, and quirks look like and I meet every pet exactly where they are. I have a background in healthcare and just finished my graduate degree in nutrition, so I’m not exaggerating when I say I take animal wellness seriously. I’m completely comfortable with medications, special feeding schedules, dietary needs, or any specific instructions you leave, following care protocols is genuinely second nature to me. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life, and I know how much peace of mind matters when you hand your pet off to someone. My goal is always to send you home (or to work, or on your trip) feeling totally at ease. Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy and personality, not just a checkbox. Drop-ins are never rushed; I stay, I play, I make sure your pet feels loved. House sitting means your home and your pet both get my full attention and care. Expect photos, videos, and updates throughout every visit because you shouldn’t have to wonder how they’re doing. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m currently in a flexible period between positions, so I have a lot of availability right now, including weekends and most weekdays. I genuinely enjoy building relationships with regular clients and their pets, so don’t hesitate to reach out even if your needs are recurring or ongoing! Since I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I’m coming to your pet in their own space, which I think is one of the best things for an animal’s comfort and routine. I treat every client’s home with complete respect and care. I’m experienced with following detailed instructions, administering medications, and handling pets of varying temperaments. Your pet stays in their familiar environment, their routine stays intact, and you get someone with a healthcare background making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.
About: Hey guys! My name is Stacey and I’m a dog mom. I’ve been around dogs since birth and I believe that they are family and I would treat yours just the same as I treat mine. I can’t wait to pamper your fur baby! ! 💜🐾💜 I have a very flexible schedule so I’m available for drop ins/walks often. My schedule permits me to do what I love best and that’s being around dogs. 🐾 I’m very attentive and give them lots of love and affection! They will be treated like my own fur babies while they’re in my care.
About: If you’re ready to let your mutt strut their stuff, or your purebred to hit the tread, I’ll take the leash! I’ve raised puppies through their senior years, and have been pet sitting for family and friends. I’m here if your pup is ready for a walk. I’m currently working from home and available most days and times for drop-in visits, short or long walks, and lots of cuddles and snuggles for your pup. I have a fenced in backyard and an older rescue dog. He is a German Shepherd named Ranger. We walk daily in the Woodcreek area in Fate.
About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
