“Nubia was fantastic! She took care of our 9 mo. old Berner, 13 year old Bulldog and 16 year old Pug for three days. This was the first time any of them stayed with someone that they didn’t know, so I was a bit apprehensive. Nubia kept me informed of how they were doing via pics and texts, which really put me at ease. She administered all the meds for the older dogs and did a great job. They really enjoyed their visit. I highly recommend!”
“We are so lucky to have found Rachel!!!! She clearly loves dogs and we felt instantly comfortable with both her and Richard. They are a lovely couple who inspire confidence in the care they will give your fur baby. Rachel sent us pictures showing us a happy, comfortable Sangi. We can vacation with ease now knowing he'll be well cared for and loved.”

“Lisa is the BEST with our little girls. Both of our girls have anxiety issues; She comforted them both by holding them, loving them and even hand feeding them. We are lucky to have her watch them for us. Thank you!!!!!”

“Aeden is a great sitter. He knows dogs and their temperaments really well and makes sure to exercise them at least twice a day. Our pups seemed very happy there so we will definitely use him again!!!”

“My dog seemed to have an amazing time. Oleksandra was very nice and responsive. She sent pictures everyday and made me feel at ease about leaving my dog for the first time. Highly recommended. Will be booking again!”

“Joanne’s family was a great fit for Zoey! We dropped her off while visiting Dallas for a few days because our friend has a cat and doesn’t love dogs :( Anyway, Joanne lived super close so we were even able to pick up Zoey and take her for a walk while she was there. Joanne was flexible and accommodating and had a great yard for Zoey and her other senior pups :)”

“My boy Theo had an amazing stay with Mychelle! He got plenty of play time, walks, and love while I was on vacation. Mychelle sent plenty of pictures and was easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future!”

About: I’m a 25-year-old graduate student currently pursuing a degree in nurse anesthesia. Before starting graduate school, I worked as an ICU nurse, but I stepped away from bedside nursing to focus on my anesthesia program. My nursing background has made me very comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining schedules, and closely monitoring changes in behavior or health. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of needs, from raising a puppy to caring for dogs who require medication as often as every hour. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, energy level, and medical needs, and I’m happy to follow your instructions closely. One of the biggest benefits of staying with us is that either my husband or I will almost always be home, so your dog will receive plenty of attention and supervision. This allows us to provide frequent potty breaks, multiple walks throughout the day, and plenty of playtime for high-energy dogs. For older dogs or dogs with medical needs, I’m comfortable providing scheduled medications, closer monitoring, and a calmer routine. Our goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re getting attentive, dependable care. I’m currently a graduate student, so classes keep me out of the house from 12:30 PM–8:00 PM. However, my husband is home from work between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, leaving plenty of time for your dogs to get all the care they need. I’m home throughout the morning, so there’s plenty of time for morning walks, playtime, feeding, medications, and potty breaks before I leave. Once my husband gets home in the afternoon, they’ll have someone with them for the rest of the day, and I’m back home in the evening. Between the two of us, we’re able to provide frequent potty breaks, multiple walks, lots of attention, and extra activity for high-energy dogs. Our home is a safe, comfortable, and dog-friendly environment where pets are treated like part of the family. Our own dog is kennel-trained and stays in his kennel when we leave the house, which helps keep the environment calm and controlled while no one is home. When we’re home, he has plenty of freedom, attention, and affection, and even sleeps in bed with us. We typically take him on a daily walk and spend a lot of time playing fetch and letting him enjoy the yard. Visiting dogs can expect the same kind of attention, with plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, outdoor play, walks, and supervised interaction, tailored to their individual routine and energy level. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible while they’re in our care.
“Mary was very patient and kind waiting for my shy Teddy to warm up to her. Meanwhile Taz warmed right up and Mary spent a lot of time playing ball with him. She sent me pictures and updates throughout their stay. Very happy to have found someone to treat my furbabies so well while we were away.”

“Amalia is outstanding!!! She went above and beyond our expectations, treating our fur babies as her own. I am so thrilled to have found her. Top marks, highly recommended, but don’t infringe on our next appointment!”

“Sangwian was wonderful with Lincoln! They took great care of him and kept me updated throughout his stay. I really appreciated knowing Lincoln was in good hands and felt comfortable and happy. I would definitely recommend Sangwian and would gladly book with her again!”

“Mariah and her family are great!! I was going out of the country for a week and was able to contact her at the last moment to watch my 2 babies. My dogs loved their stay! My dogs are super sweet and friendly but can get a little anxious when meeting people or other dogs for the first time, but they immediately felt comfortable and safe in Mariah's home. She has 2 kids and a dog of her own that kept my pups playing every day. My dogs are super picky eaters too, but Mariah tried every tip I offered to get them to eat and eventually got them to eat using her own methods and food. Mariah's whole family loves dogs, and the love, care and patience she showed my 2 dogs allowed me to have a stress free vacation. I even enjoyed getting the daily pic updates while out of the country. I highly recommend Mariah to anyone who wants their dogs to recieve love and the best care when you have to go out of town for any period of time. As long as we're ij Vegas, I won't let my dogs stay anywhere else when I need to take a trip.”

“My fur babies loved Aushi! Her backyard is spacious enough for the dogs to run around. She provided updates while I was out of town. My dogs were super tired when I picked them up, so I can tell they enjoyed their stay! 🤍”
“Stephanie was very attentive to our Prince, who acts like a prince! She took the time to understand his unique, quiet demeanor, and calm, snuggly needs. I have to admit, he typically comes home extremely tired and overwhelmed from other sitters, taking days to recoup from his adventure, but he actually was his normal silly, playful self when he returned home. Thanks Stephanie for taking care of our precious fur baby!”

“I know that I can always count on Julie & Natalie to take care of my dog and make sure he’s comfortable and loved! I’m so grateful that I found them so I can feel confident when I have to leave my pup behind.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old. My neighbors and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and train their pets. Growing up with two dogs and now having three dogs and two lizards of my own has given me plenty of hands-on experience with different animals. I’m also experienced in administering necessary medications to pets when needed. I’m patient, responsible, and passionate about making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Hi! 🐾 I’m a military veteran, stay-at-home mom to five pets, and part-time online college student with a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for animals. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, exercise, playtime, and maintaining clean, comfortable spaces. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care while ensuring your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love, care, and attention I give my own! ❤️🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. I maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, follow your care instructions closely, and make sure pets have access to fresh water, proper meals, and plenty of attention. I respect each pet’s boundaries, keep a close eye on their behavior, and take precautions to prevent escapes or unsafe situations. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I will always treat your pets with the same care and love I give my own.

I’m so happy I found Giselle to care for my fur babies! ❤️ We scheduled a meet-and-greet before their first stay, and my doggies immediately felt comfortable at her home and around her pups. When we returned for boarding, they were so excited that they hurried straight to her front door! That gave me so much reassurance that they felt happy, safe, and loved in her care. Giselle kept in touch throughout their stay and sent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. My dogs looked so happy, and I could tell she genuinely cares about them. It means so much to know I can leave my fur babies with someone I trust and feel at ease while I’m away. I’m so grateful we found her and will definitely be booking with her again. I highly recommend Giselle to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy, and loving to look after their fur babies! 🐾❤️

We have been using Maria for quite some time, and she and her family are wonderful. I always know my dog is in good hands when they are caring for him. Maria is incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive, which gives us complete peace of mind. I also love that she regularly sends pictures and updates, so I can see how my dog is doing while I am away. We truly appreciate the love and care she provides and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter 🐾❤️

10☆ Leaving my fur babies with Allison was the best decision! She took her time when letting the dog out, sent pictures & videos & even let the dog sun bathe a bit. Overall it was wondering to be away from home and have my mind at ease. I will definitely use Allison again!
Mariah took great care of my girls. They were soo comfy at her place with her kids and e joyed lots of walks. My travel llans were changed due to bad weather and Mariah were so accommodating staying longer with my dogs. I greatly recommend her and will board my dogs again for sure.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
