About: I have owned dogs my entire life varying in all kinds of ages, breeds, and health issues. My dogs are my world and I will treat your dog as if they are my own. I have a flexible schedule being in real estate so that makes it easy for me to schedule these extra dog walkings or check in's for my neighbors. I personally have a dog door with a fenced yard for my two dogs and have spent a lot of time training them so I trust them with the dog door open when I leave the house. For other people's pets, I will of course follow their rules if they crate or leave them free roaming in the house.
About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was young. 2 years ago I got my veterinary assistant certification and I’ve recently worked in an emergency vet clinic and cared for all your lovely pets and would love to do so within my own home and/or the comfort of your pets. I love to do training walks, mental stimulation activities and of course lots of cuddling! I hope you see my desire in caring for your pet ! I am currently not working in person and would love to have tons of time to show care for you pets. I am currently available to do boarding in my own home, walks between 9am -3pm and drop ins! I have 6 acres of land that is completely fenced in and have a room just for dogs! I have 3 loving , friendly dogs that would love to have some new friends. They also have crates that could be used and a separate gated area if your pet is not so friendly with others!
“Machinery was great with our pups! She was punctual and we had no issues with any of her visits. She was able to handle the energy of one dog and the strength of another with no problems. We will definitely be booking with her again in the near future and we highly recommend her to anyone else needs care for the fur babies.”

“Thank you Lana!!! This beautiful lady has become family! She is the MOST HONORABLE AND RELIABLE dog sitter. I’m at the point, I don’t like to say dog sitter anymore. My pups absolutely love Lana! It melts my heart to see my pups excited to see her! I give Lane 10 stars!!!!!”

“Sarah has been caring for my dog for 7 months now. Sarah has awesome communication with me. My dog loves her. She informs of anything she notices during their time together. 100% reliable and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond daily! Thanks for all you do Sarah.”

About: What’s a home without furry friends! I’ve always had dogs in my home and currently have two fabulous rescues that I love and adore. I would love to help you out with your furry friends. Just let me know 😁 I am retired so I can be very flexible. I do have obligations on Wednesdays 10-6pm I have taken up Pickleball in my retirement so occasionally I do have commitments there but can be easily worked around. I’m sure we can work together to make our schedules work. I’m not offering daycare at this time but I do have a fully fenced yard with two happy dogs, ready if that at anytime becomes an option.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. Neighbors, family friends and family have relied on me to take care of their furry family members. As someone who has dogs of their own, I know how much your animals mean to you. I have had experience with puppies, all the way to older dogs. Although I work full-time, I still have plenty of time to care for your furry family members! I’m available for weekend drop-in visits and can stay in your home any day of the week to keep your pets comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I strive to make pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and ensure they always have a safe environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and keep owners updated throughout my visits or stays.
About: Hi! My name is Ana, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who understands how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I treat every animal in my care like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats. From energetic pups who love long walks and playtime, to independent cats who prefer a calm presence and gentle attention. I’m comfortable handling a variety of needs and routines. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow detailed instructions to keep your pets on their normal schedule. I know how hard it can be to leave them, so I prioritize communication and will always send updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident and for your animals to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for until you return home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and be available throughout the day. Because I don’t work a traditional 9–5 job, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, feedings, and playtime. While my daily routine centers around my children, I do not have a rigid set schedule, which means I can easily accommodate drop-ins, and walks with advance notice. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches and will receive plenty of supervision, care, and affection. I’m happy to communicate about specific timing needs to make sure your pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. I provide detailed visit summaries so you always know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. After each visit, you’ll receive a thorough description of our time together, along with updates and photos for peace of mind. Each visit can include: • Walks tailored to your dog’s energy level • Playtime with their favorite toys • Potty breaks and routine check-ins • Fresh food and water as needed • Lots of love and attention My goal is to keep your pet’s routine consistent and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
About: I have been around many animals throughout my whole life growing up. I enjoy getting to know every animal and understanding how they are emotionally. Pet care fits well into my daily routine because I recently graduated and have a lot of free time and a flexible schedule. I have experience caring for my own dog, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure he feels comfortable and cared for. I enjoy being around dogs and giving them attention, so dog sitting is something I would be happy to make part of my daily routine. Whether at my place or yours, pet care is all about making them comfy and safe! At my home, I stick to their routine for feeding and walks, plus tons of playtime. If I'm at your place, I follow your lead, ensuring your pet feels secure and loved while you're away.
About: I’ve taken care of my weiner dog for 7 years now. I treat like she’s my real daughter and will take care of any furry animal the same. I have so much love I want to give to them! I am not working at the moment so I will be available to take care of your dogs/cats at any time you need me to! I walk a lot so if you need long walks for your energized dog, that is no problem! I also spend hours throwing the same toy and think of it as exercise for me AND the dog!
“Charley was in great hands with Michele. She was consistently on time to take her out and feed her meals. She uploaded pictures that Charley always looked happy in. She has prompt communication and followed all instructions perfectly. Would recommend and use her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Kaylee! I’m based in Rockwall and I live with four dogs, so I understand better than most what different personalities, energy levels, and quirks look like and I meet every pet exactly where they are. I have a background in healthcare and just finished my graduate degree in nutrition, so I’m not exaggerating when I say I take animal wellness seriously. I’m completely comfortable with medications, special feeding schedules, dietary needs, or any specific instructions you leave, following care protocols is genuinely second nature to me. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life, and I know how much peace of mind matters when you hand your pet off to someone. My goal is always to send you home (or to work, or on your trip) feeling totally at ease. Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy and personality, not just a checkbox. Drop-ins are never rushed; I stay, I play, I make sure your pet feels loved. House sitting means your home and your pet both get my full attention and care. Expect photos, videos, and updates throughout every visit because you shouldn’t have to wonder how they’re doing. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m currently in a flexible period between positions, so I have a lot of availability right now, including weekends and most weekdays. I genuinely enjoy building relationships with regular clients and their pets, so don’t hesitate to reach out even if your needs are recurring or ongoing! Since I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I’m coming to your pet in their own space, which I think is one of the best things for an animal’s comfort and routine. I treat every client’s home with complete respect and care. I’m experienced with following detailed instructions, administering medications, and handling pets of varying temperaments. Your pet stays in their familiar environment, their routine stays intact, and you get someone with a healthcare background making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.
About: I have a senior dog so he needs to be let out more often and I have to make sure he eats his food. I also have an aggressive dog but he loves our family and really dislikes other people so I have dealt with aggressive and sometimes timid dogs. I work at a restaurant but only 3-4 times a week so I am free whenever I am needed. I love dogs and animals I care for them like they are my own and give them lots of love so they don’t miss their owners to much when they are gone I make sure to do everything that I am told to do by the owners and also do it at the times that I am told to do it
About: Hi! 🤗I am an animal person all the way! All my life, I've had dogs and cats as pets. Mom & I live in a log house that my dad built on 3 acres in McLendon Chisholm. So these house sits are my little stay-cations. :) On our farm we have 6 dogs, 3 cats & 28 goats that we rent out for goat yoga! I have a keen sense of intuition that assists me in meeting all your animals' & plants' requirements when you’re away. Animals always immediately feel at peace with me because I am a well balanced person emotionally and spiritually. I am a loyal, responsible Realtor that loves care-giving & world travel. I also foster animals with Dallas Animal Shelter & a local rescue. I will pamper your pets and love them like my own. When messaging me to meet and plan, please include the time of day you will be leaving & returning, any allergies your animals have, special requirements, & if they need to be crated when I’m not there. I don’t list boarding on my profile because I had a boarder dog almost kill my cat. But I may be open to bringing yours to my house if we all believe it will work. My pack is very accustomed to furry friend guests. Let’s make a play date! Pets find joy in being around humans who appreciate their companionship. I find that the animals in my life adapt to my schedule and a synchronicity is developed between us, even if it’s temporary for a housesit. I am open to interpreting the energy of the needs presented to me by pets and their humans. I am very free spirited and offer daily updates around 10:30AM each morning. However, some humans require more communication several times a day asking about their pets. I try to find a balance in enjoying the day and sending enough communication to the owners of all these sweet creatures! Sometimes when humans have cameras, I think they are watching us anytime they want, so there isn’t as much need for frequent updates.

I also have my own dog named gracie who I have had for 6 years I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the day to come and go as needed to walk, feed and play! We can talk about scheduling when the time comes I live in a house & ive got a backyard. I have the flexibility to take them in and out as needed and will crate as needed per owners request
About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
