About: I will send pictures all the time and FaceTime. A dog is like a child and a part of the family. I love animals. I am available on short notice. My dog and I go lots of places together. We run on the beach and go to the park. I will pet and brush the dog we will watch tv. The dog will get as much exercise as needed. I know my dog don't like to be outside if it's really hot. I am a easy going person if you need something let me know and I will try and see if I can get it done. My dog loves other dogs she is up to date on all her shots. Feel free to contact me and let me know. I work at home overnight. Right now I’m a Surrogate 14 weeks pregnant. When my son is home from school, I would say the dogs get lots of exercise playing with him Fetching , the ball or just being outside. I have a fenced in yard so there’s lots of playtime outside. I leave the door open so they can come and go all day long. If they wanna play outside or come inside they would only have to be inside if FPL is here reading the meter or the landscapers come, but that’s only once a month.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very little! My GSD beagle mix had a litter of puppies when I was just 12 years old. I worked alongside aiding my mom in caring for 14 puppies for about a year before we found them FURever homes🤗 Before she passed I was in charge of helping her with daily supplements for her joints… so I am able to provide care for your senior pup if necessary! I have also watched neighbors / family friends dogs (big and small) Currently I am working weekdays 7-4 so evenings are available as well as weekends! I get up every morning to walk and feed my dog before leaving for work. Starting in July I will no longer be working full time so I will be completely available 7 days a week! With house sits/ visits I will keep your loved pet to whatever schedule they are accustomed to! I am very flexible with adjusting to others routines so that will not be a problem!
“RaiRai is very responsive and attentive; I appreciate how she communicates everything, from the amount of times my dog poops on his walk to noticing how quickly he gets tired from the Florida sun. I plan to use her services in the future, and recommend her to anyone who asks for a great dog walker.”

“Shirly was fabulous with Luka and I will Use her again. She responded immediately as a last minute request for a dog walk. And Luka warmed up to her immediately when they first met.”

“Nico is amazing, he took a wonderful care of our Ziva, walking her, playing with her and just simply spending time with her. We never left her alone before but with Nico I was sure Ziva would be happy and safe and we had no worries.”

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life. I’ve had many pets throughout my life. Currently, I own a dog, a cat, and a parrot myself whom I love so so much. I have been taking care of my pets since I was a young girl and have had many of my families friends and neighbors ask me to take care of their pets as well. I love all types of animals and am not scared of any breed of dog or cat. From big dogs to small, I love them all so much. I am ready to do any service needed, dog walking, house sitting, etc. I love going on walks with dogs, making sure they get their daily exercise in, make sure they have food and water readily available, and even play and cuddle with them. I am also available to stay with them for a certain amount of days. I can go from playing with and training young pups to taking care of senior dogs with special care. I am currently a college student, but take most of my classes online giving me a more flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. 3 days out of the week I work as a tutor for kids. Monday from 3-5, Tuesday from 4-6, and Thursday from 2:30-5:30. But with summer around the corner, I will no longer be tutoring giving me a more flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and other care if needed. I make pet care a priority in my routine and always ensure your pets get my full attention, exercise, and affection during every visit. Your pets safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I myself have a fenced yard and a dog and a cat who I always play with and provide the biggest affection towards. I closely supervise all interactions and can easily crate your dog if requested. I follow your pet’s routine carefully, provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love, and always keep you updated with photos for peace of mind.
“Kateryna is great! Auggie gets so excited when she comes by, and sometimes she brings her son, who’s very sweet — it’s a great chance for the puppy to socialize. The photos she takes are worth the money on their own! I’d definitely recommend her.”

About: With over five years of dedicated pet-sitting experience, our family offers a unique, multi-species "home away from home" experience. Our household is a true animal-loving environment where every guest is treated like one of our own. Our 10-year-old Jack Russell, Mel, is the ultimate hostess, she is incredibly friendly, gentle, and loves playing with new friends. Because we share our home with everything from dogs to snakes, turtles, and lizards, we are uniquely equipped to handle a wide variety of needs. Our 16-year-old is particularly passionate about exotic pet care, ensuring that even the smallest or most unique pets get the specialized attention they require. Whether it’s a senior dog needing a gentle pace or a high-energy pup ready for the backyard, we have the experience to make them feel safe and loved. My home is active and full of life! My routine is centered around pet happiness: morning walks in our pet-friendly community, plenty of playtime in our spacious backyard, and quiet relaxation in the evenings. Your pet will never lack for attention. Whether it’s feeding time for our fish and reptiles or a game of fetch with my dog Mel, pet care isn't just a task for me- it’s a central part of my daily life. Safety is my absolute priority. I live in a large house with a beautiful open backyard. While my yard is not fenced, I operate on a "100% Eyes-On" policy. Pets are never left unattended outdoors; they are always on a leash and supervised. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment where guest animals have plenty of room to explore or find a cozy corner for a nap. To build trust with you, I provide: Constant Communication: Frequent photo and video updates so you can see how much fun your pet is having. Socialization: Carefully supervised interactions with Mel to ensure everyone is comfortable. Specialized Care: Deep knowledge of reptile and aquatic needs, ensuring your exotic pets stay on their specific light and feeding schedules.
“Ryan and Debbie were absolutely fantastic from the very first moment I contacted them. I contacted them with a last moment request when my son’s friend backed out at the last moment. My son was leaving on a business trip and I am recuperating from a leg injury that prevents me from walking my son’s 4 1/2 year old Gerberian Shepsky (GS Dog and Siberian Husky mix). He is a great dog but does not realize his own substantial strength. Ryan responded to my request within minutes and was available that morning. From the moment I met Ryan and his Fiance Debbie, it was evident that they love dogs and love taking care of them. They immediately became close with the dog and he would become very excited when they came to walk him. They would show up and he would run and say hello and then sit at the door for them to put his leash on Walks were long, especially in this heat, annd they would even run with him. Numerous photo updates would arrive by text while he was out on the walk and they would provide detailed reports of the walk. They will be by first choice when future needs present themselves and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone. They are true dog lovers who liove what they do and it shows.”
“Carolina was so great! She was super communicative and reassured us during our trip that our dog was in good hands. She followed all of our directions perfectly and we felt comfortable that our dog was safe and loved while we were gone. She was even flexible enough to accommodate some of our changes and when there were things she wasn’t sure about she asked us.”

“She is amazing with my dog Enzo, always on time and provides very detailed reports for walkies. I trust her to take care of my baby when I'm on trips, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker. Appreciate her so much!”

About: Hello, I have over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I own a 3 year old Shiba who is sweet and gentle. I work from home so my time is very accessible. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day,I already have a dog, so walks, playtime, and feeding are built into my routine. Adding more furry friends just means more joy, exercise, and tail wags in my week! I treat every pet as if they were my own, because I know how important they are to their families. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable space, free from hazards, with plenty of fresh water, a cozy resting area, and supervised playtime. I follow the pet parent’s feeding and care instructions closely, including special diets or medications. If I’m caring for a pet in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines. I ensure the pet’s environment remains secure, doors and gates are properly closed, and walks are done with safety in mind, avoiding busy roads, extreme temperatures, and unsafe areas. I also give them plenty of affection, play, and attention, so they feel loved and comfortable while their owner is away.
“I greatly appreciate how well Dennis cares for my dog Ruby. I feel safe knowing he can handle her reactive behavior when she sees other dogs. See sees them all as a great danger to her, due to her past history before being rescued. Dennis is calm and strong, and she’s delighted to go for their morning walks together. I do recommend him for excellent dog walks.”

About: I love being around pets, and I am said by many to be a very kind person. Kindness is my talent, I just love making other people’s days better by being funny or silly. I do not have a lot of experience with dog care, but I would make sure to do my best for you kiddo. I also work as a Portuguese translator, so it is very important that I receive a notice before booking anything, but I am pretty much available every day. Because of the passion that I feel about animals, I never did and would never allow them to be hurt around me. I will always make sure to protect your loved one!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
