About: I will send pictures all the time and FaceTime. A dog is like a child and a part of the family. I love animals. I am available on short notice. My dog and I go lots of places together. We run on the beach and go to the park. I will pet and brush the dog we will watch tv. The dog will get as much exercise as needed. I know my dog don't like to be outside if it's really hot. I am a easy going person if you need something let me know and I will try and see if I can get it done. My dog loves other dogs she is up to date on all her shots. Feel free to contact me and let me know. I work at home overnight. Right now I’m a Surrogate 14 weeks pregnant. When my son is home from school, I would say the dogs get lots of exercise playing with him Fetching , the ball or just being outside. I have a fenced in yard so there’s lots of playtime outside. I leave the door open so they can come and go all day long. If they wanna play outside or come inside they would only have to be inside if FPL is here reading the meter or the landscapers come, but that’s only once a month.

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life. I’ve had many pets throughout my life. Currently, I own a dog, a cat, and a parrot myself whom I love so so much. I have been taking care of my pets since I was a young girl and have had many of my families friends and neighbors ask me to take care of their pets as well. I love all types of animals and am not scared of any breed of dog or cat. From big dogs to small, I love them all so much. I am ready to do any service needed, dog walking, house sitting, etc. I love going on walks with dogs, making sure they get their daily exercise in, make sure they have food and water readily available, and even play and cuddle with them. I am also available to stay with them for a certain amount of days. I can go from playing with and training young pups to taking care of senior dogs with special care. I am currently a college student, but take most of my classes online giving me a more flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. 3 days out of the week I work as a tutor for kids. Monday from 3-5, Tuesday from 4-6, and Thursday from 2:30-5:30. But with summer around the corner, I will no longer be tutoring giving me a more flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and other care if needed. I make pet care a priority in my routine and always ensure your pets get my full attention, exercise, and affection during every visit. Your pets safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I myself have a fenced yard and a dog and a cat who I always play with and provide the biggest affection towards. I closely supervise all interactions and can easily crate your dog if requested. I follow your pet’s routine carefully, provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love, and always keep you updated with photos for peace of mind.
“Carolina was so great! She was super communicative and reassured us during our trip that our dog was in good hands. She followed all of our directions perfectly and we felt comfortable that our dog was safe and loved while we were gone. She was even flexible enough to accommodate some of our changes and when there were things she wasn’t sure about she asked us.”

“Shirly was fabulous with both dogs. She arrived a few minutes early and took each dog on separate walks as requested. She sent photos and kept me informed. She was very accommodating as this was a late request only one day prior to the booking. The dogs loved her. Thank you Shirley!”

“Carolina is the best dog care taker I have ever used. She sends me photos and videos of her on the walks with my Sammy and plays with him and give him water and food if needed. Sammy loves her and loves to see her when she comes to my apartment. She has even taken him to the dog park to play with other dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing animal lover and care taker.”

“RaiRai is very responsive and attentive; I appreciate how she communicates everything, from the amount of times my dog poops on his walk to noticing how quickly he gets tired from the Florida sun. I plan to use her services in the future, and recommend her to anyone who asks for a great dog walker.”

“Amazing and lets me know when she takes my dog out. Always available to take my dog out whenever I ask her to. She amazing dog Walker and this is my 10th time using her. Will always be my dog Walker.”
“Kateryna is great! Auggie gets so excited when she comes by, and sometimes she brings her son, who’s very sweet — it’s a great chance for the puppy to socialize. The photos she takes are worth the money on their own! I’d definitely recommend her.”

“Dennis was great! He responded to my request quickly and came and met us the same day. He was polite and respectful. He took our pup out, played ball with her, and locked everything up tight when he was done. We would definitely love to use him again.”

About: Hey there! I’m Ciana, a full-time remote designer with years of professional and volunteer pet care experience and a whole lot of love to give your fur-baby. I’m available any day of the week, with short notice, whenever you need a stand-in for anything from a quick walk to a well-deserved vacation. I grew up with a household of 5 rescued bunnies and large, active-breed dogs (Labs, German Shepards, Belgium Malinois, you name it) and grew a love for animals from a young age. Throughout high school and while back home during college, I worked as a Playtime Coordinator at Pet Paradise, a pet daycare and boarding facility; I specialized in 1:1 playtime with high-energy, timid, and reactive large dogs, as well as group playtimes with all kinds of breeds of dogs and cats. I also managed feeding schedules for 100+ furry residents, kept things clean, and (of course) gave excessive cuddles. While I was away at college in New York, I kept it up by house-sitting both cats and dogs and dog-walking for locals. Now that I work 100% from home and servicing the Parkland, Coral Springs, Boca, Coconut Creek, Margate areas, my laptop setup comes with me wherever I go. Your dogs and cats won't have to worry about being left alone for hours. Instead, they’ll have a built-in office buddy ready for couch snuggles, potty and play-time breaks, multiple walks, and whatever else they need. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time. I’m also available for meet and greets prior to the designated stay so that you and your pet can feel more at ease. Hope to meet you and your furry family members soon! My schedule can easily adjust to your and your pet's needs, energy levels, and typical routines while boarding or walking. As a full-time remote designer, my workday is incredibly flexible, I easily adapt to the structure your pet is used to at home. Whether they need a high energy routine with frequent outdoor breaks and play, or prefer a quiet, cozy day snoozing on the couch, or sitting apart at a respectable distance, I’ve got it covered. I am also passionate about carefully monitoring heat and exhaustion, especially while out in the Florida sun. Because I work from my laptop, I am available any day of the week, early mornings to late nights and everything in-between, on short notice and for however long you need me. You can expect a seamless blend of my professional pet care background and a whole lot of love, ensuring your fur-baby never feels lonely while you're away! Safety, trust and honest communication are my top priorities. I ensure your home is kept secure and clean at all times. I'm vigilant and extra careful about strictly sticking to your feeding, playtime, walking and general house-care instructions. And I never miss the opportunity to send you a picture or update about your furbaby!

I currently have a cat and a German shepherd husky mix! I work full time during the week (M-F) but am available after work everyday as well as sometimes before work depending on your location. About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have a friendly, well-trained dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone trustworthy and attentive. There’s always someone home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, and love throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy being active with dogs, and daily walks even helped me lose over 50 pounds! We treat every dog like part of the family and truly care about them long after their stay with us. 🐾 I walk 3+ miles every day and always include my dog, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I work part time and have a very open schedule throughout the summer, which allows me to give dogs consistent care throughout the day. I treat every dog like they’re part of the family and adjust my care based on each dog’s individual personality and needs. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor play and a gentle, friendly dog who gets along with every dog she meets. If needed, I also have a playpen for puppies or dogs who are more comfortable with their own space. There is always someone home, so your dog will never feel lonely or left unattended and will always have company, supervision, and lots of love. 🐾
“Simone has come over for walks and play time twice a day during this hot, hot south Florida summer. Her daily photos and kind notes have set my mind at ease while I am away from home. Thanks for taking such good care of Finn!”

About: At 19, I adopted my first puppy, Sophie. She was a Shepherd Mix with deceptively small paws and a calm demeanor. Time would later reveal her to be very hyperactive, loud and 100+ lbs of pure loyalty and love. Unfortunately, she also suffered from seizures at an early age and the medication was not easy on her body. Suffice to say that I adopted a lot more that day, and I would never change a thing. We learned and grew so much with each other in her short 12 years. I believe my experience owning, loving, and caring for Sophie translates seamlessly into my ability to take care of your furry family members. My current schedule is relatively open and allows for availability when I (or your pet) needs it. My weekday schedule is very flexible and allows for change accordingly. I’m also available weekends and holidays. I live on the first floor of my very dog friendly apartment building. The unit is about 1000 sq. ft. and sits above a utility room - so it can definitely accommodate your pet’s post-dinner zoomies. I don’t have a closed in yard but I live near a park that has a path so most dogs enjoy walks there. Additionally, I have a large, metal crate available if needed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
