About: Asst in training service dogs, have had dogs for the past 25 years. I have also had cats but do not have one currently. I watch my neighbors' animals, to include a bunny and other small animals as well. I currently work from home most days and am able to work from anywhere with my laptop if I am needed to stay at your home. This also gives me the availability to leave for breaks to take your animal out for small walks or potty breaks during the day. I have always had 3 dogs at a time, but I just lost my last fur baby in January 2026 so we just got a puppy in April as I just can’t be without a fur baby. I care for my animals as family, not pets, they sleep with me and my husband and go with us when we are able to take them.I provide more of a motherly service and will care for your fur baby as if he/she were my own. This includes playing and snuggling.
“Sarah did a great job with our two cats - Bonnie & Clyde while we were away on vacation. We received daily updates from her about our babies and her communication with me while we were gone was excellent!! We will definitely be using Sarah again in the future. Thank you 😊”

About: I have lived with dogs and cats throughout my life and have more than 30 years of experience caring for them. I currently care for several pets in my own home, so I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, energy level, and individual needs. I carefully follow instructions for feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, litter box care, walks, playtime, and companionship. I take time to help each pet feel comfortable and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. You can expect dependable care, clear communication, a detailed Rover Card, and several photos after every visit. I prefer to meet before the first recurring or extended booking so I can learn your pet’s routine, confirm access instructions, and understand exactly what they need. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I keep my Rover calendar current and only accept visits that fit my availability. This allows me to arrive within the agreed time window and give each pet attentive care without rushing. Before the first booking, I prefer to meet you and your pet, review the care routine, and confirm access instructions. During each visit, I follow your directions closely, check doors and gates, refresh food and water, and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable before I leave. I provide photos and a clear update after every visit.
“Kaylyn took wonderful care of our two Yorkies, Sasha and Malia, while we were away on a short vacation. She was professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. The girls absolutely loved her, and we had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We will definitely be booking Kaylyn again!”

“Katie was wonderful. She took great care of our cat Kali! She spent time making sure she felt loved. She provided her with food, water, treats, grooming and even her twice a day asthma inhaler treatments. I highly recommend Katie and will use her again without hesitation.”

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, bearded dragons, hamsters, and guinea pigs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have provided pet sitting and house sitting services for friends, family members, and neighbors over the years. I am available to walk, feed, and care for your pets while you're away, as well as clean up after them and provide companionship to help them feel comfortable and loved in your absence. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable. I currently have a 6-year-old Great Dane/Saint Bernard mix, a 7-year-old Red Heeler/Pointer mix, and two cats, giving me hands-on experience with pets of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I currently work part-time, I stay home with my kids during the week. They are in school full time during the school year.. I have a lot of free time I would walk the dogs or let them out. Whatever is preferred. We can discuss scheduling and the needs of everyone involved. Flexible and reliable
“Samantha did a great job of taking care of our almost 11 year old Zeus! We had some drop in visits and Samantha sent us notes and photos of her time with Zeus. We were very happy and highly recommend.”

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a 7 year old German Shepherd and 4 year old black lab mix. I love all animals and spending time with them. I have experience with taking care of diabetic cats who received insulin twice a day. I work full time from home so I have flexibility throughout the day. I am about to become an empty nester now that my youngest will be heading off to college in August. I’ve found that I have a lot of free time. I am available to come to your house as often as needed to care for your fur babies. I can take your dog for walks or just snuggle with your cat, whatever is needed.

About: I have taken care of pups of all ages my whole life, as I have had my own as well as done overnights with multiples! I am in college, and have a part time job on weekdays, but I have no commitments after 5:30 and on weekends, and I can take care of your fur babies! I can easily crate dogs, and I have cats that love to run out so I am equipped to find the sneaky cats that want to run free
About: I have a lot of experience with dogs as both an owner and as a foster home/parent. I recently had a foster dog that was used as a breeding Mom dog for 4 years and was terrified when we got her. I have pet sat at my home for family, friends, and neighbor's dogs. I would go multiple times a week to my neighbor's house to take her dogs out and play with them while Mom & Dad were working late. I have also volunteered with humane societies over the years, even flew down to FL to volunteer with a rescue after a hurricane. I have experience transporting foster dogs to their new homes with a rescue group out of Missouri where we adopted our foster fail from. I am an Independent Photographer so I only work when I have sessions or editing to do, leaving me with lots of time to dedicate to the pups 😀 The dogs wellbeing is my top concern always! If I am coming to walk or play with your dog while you're at work I will make sure your family member is happy and content before leaving.
About: I have been taking care of the pets of friends and family for years, ranging from dog-walking to week-long pet sitting. Experience with a wide range of breeds and ages. I am a substitute teacher with a very flexible schedule, so I can take care of animals pretty much any time during days when I am not subbing. For sitting at other’s’ home, I try and keep the pet’s schedule as close to normal as possible! I prefer sitting in other’s’ homes just to keep things simple for the furry babies.
About: Animals have always been my happy place. I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so caring for animals is part of my everyday life. I’ve also helped family and friends by letting their dogs out, taking them on walks, and caring for them while they were away, including keeping a friend’s dog in my home for a week during vacations. While I’m new to Rover, I’m dependable, patient, and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently work part-time Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Outside of those hours, I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I’m also available most Thursdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any routines your pet is used to. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.
About: Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge dog lover. I was raised with a dog and went on to get a dog of my own. A sheltie. He was just 8 weeks old. I have a high level of love and compassion for dogs as well as other animals. I am a very patient and love to go on walks, play and cuddle. I have two teenage girls who visit and are just as much a dog lover as myself. I do not work outside the home and have the time and attention to give to your best friend. Isabella was fantastic taking care of our pets. Despite some challenges from one of our dogs, she was able to keep them happy and healthy throughtout our trip. She kept us well informed of issues when they arose. Overall, when we returned home it was like we never left!

By far the best rover sitter I have seen!!!! She always makes sure they get their pets and cuddles and even takes them on walk when I didn’t even ask her too!!!! She truly loves animals and it shows 🖤🖤🖤 I always have the best comfort knowing my kiddos are in safe hands 🖤

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
