“I’m very particular about who takes care of my girls. Bradlei was so sweet to them and left them a little gift bag for their first visit! Will definitely have her again!”

“The moment I met Amanda I could tell it was a great fit for our puppy as she was kind and calm mannered. We just got our puppy a week ago and she came to drop in on our girl 2 times a day. She always provides me with pictures and detailed reports of her visits with Noa. I highly recommend her and will definitely be working with Amanda again and look forward to her visits!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention | give every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, comfort level, and set of needs, and I take the time to get to know them rather than using a one size fits all approach. I'm experienced with dogs of different energy levels and personalities, including playful, high energy dogs as well as more laidback pups who prefer a quiet, relaxed environment. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, and other instructions provided by their owners. I'm also patient with puppies who are still learning and happy to provide extra attention and structure to senior dogs who may need a slower pace or additional care. Most importantly, I treat pet sitting as more than simply stopping by to feed a dog. I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I'm dependable, communicative, and will happily send updates and photos so you don't feel like you're missing out while you’re away. I work from home, which allows pet care to fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, regular potty breaks and walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods of time. My schedule also gives me flexibility to accommodate each pet’s individual routine, whether they need frequent breaks, scheduled meals, medication, extra playtime, or simply someone nearby to make them feel comfortable. I enjoy having pets around while I work and am happy to make their care an important part of my day. Please no dropoffs before 8am and no pick ups after 8pm. Thank you 😊 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I want every pet to feel comfortable, secure, and treated like part of the family. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and potty breaks without being exposed to traffic or other outdoor hazards. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions from their owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and individual preferences. I keep a close eye on pets throughout their stay and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I treat their space, belongings, and instructions with the same respect I would want for my own pets. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Note: If your pet is ill with a communicable sickness, please keep them home. I have two dogs in my home, and I greatly appreciate your understanding.
“Ashely came by to do a meet and greet a few days before taking care of Kali which was so helpful for me to show her around the house. She followed all of my instructions and Kali was very happy with her! Will definitely be going back to her as needed☺️🥰”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Crystal Lawns
I was gone 10 days and the house and all the pets looked great. My dog that needed meds was doing well. Everything was clean and anything I asked was done, like take out the garbage and bring in the mail. It is wonderful to be able to have peace of mind when I am out of town.

Juniper was great! Today we had some obstacles at home and her kind demeanor and flexibility still shined through. Our dog Charlie still got to go for his daily walk, and her ability to sometimes “go with the flow” was beyond appreciated by our family:). Thanks Juniper! 😊

From the first time we met Clarissa we could tell she would be a good match for our cat Lacy. Lacy is shy and comes from a rough background. Clarissa communicated every day (twice) and sent photos showing the progress she was making with Lacy. We will recommend her to our friends and look forward to requesting her again in the future. She our trip worry free!

Angela is the most awesome pet sitter. She was absolutely amazing. Made me feel so comfortable that my pets were taken care of. I will hire her again in a minute. I'm hooked. I can't even describe how wonderful she's been. Angela went above and beyond to help take care of my pets. Love, love, love her.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
