My family and I have been in the Channahon/Minooka area for four years now. I’ve provided pet care through Rover since July of 2022. We are always looking forward to meeting some new faces! I have been dog sitting/walking for years, but I'd love to expand my help to the surrounding areas. I am available for house visits multiple times a day, walks while you work, cat and small animal care and more! In my home, I have two exotics pets: Noodle (corn snake) and Froog (dumpy tree frog). Recently, we adopted two female kitties from Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue. They are the sweetest, friendliest sisters: Latte and Mocha. This is the perfect opportunity if you are nervous about your babies being around other animals. My two cats are dog friendly, as long as your pup is respectful as well. I will only be booking one family at a time and a meet and greet is a requirement to ensure everyone is comfortable, confident and happy. My home will be a safe haven for them and peace of mind for you. Animals have been a passion of mine since I can remember! Growing up on a farm may have had something to do with that. I was bringing home kittens to raise since I can remember. Even bottle fed and raised a whole litter of baby bunnies and a baby squirrel at one point! Throughout my life, I’ve owned many breeds and species small and large. I have experience with everything from fish to hamsters, birds and a love for the scaly ones too! I had plans of becoming a Veterinarian after high school so I've always involved myself with animals as much as I could. I learned so much working side by side with the vet techs during my internship at Shirkey Veterinarian Clinic! In most recent years, I have fostered quite a few dogs and puppies, through Grahamville Rescue. As well as, fostered kittens through RWAR in Lemont. Being able to provide these animals with a safe place and then seeing them go to their forever home was such a rewarding experience! By far the best rover sitter I have seen!!!! She always makes sure they get their pets and cuddles and even takes them on walk when I didn’t even ask her too!!!! She truly loves animals and it shows 🖤🖤🖤 I always have the best comfort knowing my kiddos are in safe hands 🖤
Alyssa is excellent! Highly recommend as she goes above and beyond for your pet! Communication made me feel comfortable and I appreciated the extra TLC for my Gracie!

We left our 2 pups with Alyssa for an extended visit while on vacation and she did a phenomenal job! Our lab gets nervous/ has a bit of separation anxiety and also had an upset stomach while visiting and Alyssa stayed on top of it like it was no problem. Gave both dogs a bath, washed out their cage and did her best to get her to eat in very small increments/ kept me up to date with extremely quick responses the entire time. Will rebook with her again in the future should we ever need pet sitting again. My pups returned very happy and we loved getting lots of photos of them through our trip as well! :)

I have tons of toys here, but feel free to bring their favorites. I don't typically cage, but I do keep a large one here so you don't have to drag yours out! I know some dogs are just more comfortable that way. When I visit your home, I will play, exercise your pets and shower them with plenty of love before I leave!

I’m always finding ways to get outside and stay active, your pets will never be bored! There are plenty of paved walking paths throughout the area as well as dog parks within driving distance. We’ll play, take walks and maybe let them try out a treat puzzle for fun!
