I am a retired teacher who has rescued and raised both cats and dogs from 6 weeks old through their geriatric years. I am comfortable reinforcing puppy potty training and basic obedience skills while you are away. Pets with separation anxiety find me to be gentle and patient, and I am experienced in working with animals who have physical challenges. I guarantee your fur babies will be showered with love while in my care! Please note: I CANNOT accept assignments for dogs larger than 45 lbs.

Safety is my number one priority! I will make sure your dog is comfortable and safe according to your instructions before finishing the assignment, and will make sure to keep you posted with photos so you will not be worried.

Laura was great with my 2 kitties, she went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable with her and I felt very safe knowing she was watching out for them.
It's clear she loves animals. Laura was very attentive to our dog, and constantly went above and beyond to make sure that he was not only taken care of but enjoyed the time he was with her.
Laura is a loving and responsible pet caregiver. She has raised plenty of cats. Never really without a cat in her life. And a doggo here and there. I think Carmella, her Shitzu, was the dog love of her life. Always taking that little sweetie for walks and having her on the couch for snuggling and pets. She loved my dog Raleigh the super mutt when he’d come over to play and see Carmella. She understood when Raleigh would drink out of the water bowl how he made it a fountain. She still loved him and took care of the mess. Always on top of seeing if any medical needs. Trying to take care of things responsibly. Making you aware if she thought there was anything to attend to. She would look out for anyone’s pet.
There is truly no one you would rather have caring for your pet than Laura. She loves them all whether they’re healthy and easy to care for or have problems that need tending to. You can be gone and have every confidence your pet will be in good hands.
Laura is a caring and compassionate person in general, and even more so when it comes to animals. She has taken care of our dog and our many cats on multiple occasions and has always done a wonderful job. Our dog (Rosie) loves Laura, and get 'helicopter tail' anytime she comes to the house. Laura is extremely responsible and will give your pets exactly the care you desire, whatever that may be. She has experience with young animals, old animals, healthy animals, and those with special health needs. Outstanding person who will treat your pets like royalty!
