I am a retired teacher who has rescued and raised both cats and dogs from 6 weeks old through their geriatric years. I am comfortable reinforcing puppy potty training and basic obedience skills while you are away. Pets with separation anxiety find me to be gentle and patient, and I am experienced in working with animals who have physical challenges. I guarantee your fur babies will be showered with love while in my care! As a multiple-pet mom, I know how expensive it can be when "additional pet" charges are added! That is why I charge the same price for check-ins (not including walks) up to 3 pets. Please note: I CANNOT accept assignments for dogs larger than 45 lbs.

Safety is my number one priority! I will make sure your dog is comfortable and safe according to your instructions before finishing the assignment, and will make sure to keep you posted with photos so you will not be worried.

Laura was great! Took on our new puppy and a last minute request. Asked all the right questions and followed the few instructions we had for our little guy. I know he was in good hands while we were gone for the day!
Laura is great! She communicates great. She brought toys to play with my cat & snuggled with my pug ☺️. She even watered my plants!
Laura was great with my 2 kitties, she went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable with her and I felt very safe knowing she was watching out for them.
It's clear she loves animals. Laura was very attentive to our dog, and constantly went above and beyond to make sure that he was not only taken care of but enjoyed the time he was with her.

Schedule
I have extensive availability on weekends, late afternoon/evenings, school breaks, and most holidays. My schedule during weekdays depends on whether or not I am substitute teaching on any given day.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsLaura can host up to 8 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or allergies, whether they are dog adverse, or whether they have a history of escaping their leash. I would also love to know what commands they understand.
