“This was the first time we used Rover. We chose Amanda to watch our cat, Moe. I can’t give high enough praise for the service we received. Each time Amanda visited we got an update and photos. It was obvious that she truly bonded with Moe! She took time to groom, pet, and let him sit on her lap- all above and beyond our expectations of feeding and giving him water. Amanda also took care of watering our garden which made our time away worry free. I highly recommend Amanda to lovingly take care of any pet and we will book any future pet sitting with her.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have been around all kinds of animals as well as different breeds of dogs. I have good knowledge of dog behavior and experience in handling. With a little bit of guidance from you as their parent, I can give them exactly what is needed while you are away. Pet sitting is my full time job! I can be with your babies 24/7 if that is what’s needed. I never leave an animal for longer than 4 hours and it’s always pre discussed at meet and greets. I do part time Quickbooks remote work also, but if I do need to work any it will be on my laptop right from your home so I can still watch your fur babies. When taking care of pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions/guidelines provided by the pet parents. Feeding schedules, exercise, medicine, etc. The environment with me is always safe and your pet is my number 1 priority at all times just like mine are when they are with me. Asking me questions and providing me with information is always the best way to make the experience more comfortable for all involved. I also love sending pictures and daily updates while you’re away so you can see how things are going!

About: Ever since I was young I have had animals. Cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, you name it. I had 7 cats and 5 dogs growing up in a farm house and I took care of all of them. When I moved out, I fostered kittens and puppies, and of course I have a little fur baby of my own now. I have been working with animals for 15 ish years and I love it! Right now I work for Bend parks and rec as a swim instructor for children, but in my free time I thought I would pick up some other work, and I thought what better than a pet sitter/walker! I adore animals and want to spend more time with them, giving them all the love and attention they want! I have a dog of my own, her name is Penny and she is a long hair chihuahua. I think I spend more money on her than I do on myself, she is my life and I would do anything for her. I always treat all animals with the most respect possible, I don’t believe in yelling or hitting animals for being bad or loud, respect them as if they were your own human child.

About: I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for animals like they were my own—from rambunctious puppies to wise old cats, and everything in between. It all started by helping out family, friends, and neighbors, and quickly turned into something I truly love. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I have experience with everything from administering medications to calming anxious pets and keeping up with high-energy pups. Every animal is different, and I take the time to understand what makes each one feel safe, loved, and happy. I work part-time, which means your pets get the best part of my day. I have the flexibility to give them focused attention, fun playtime, and lots of love while you're away. I’m available for drop-ins and walks. Whether it's a walk or a drop-in, your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be cared for like family. I’m great at following detailed care instructions—whether it’s a special feeding routine, daily meds, or just the little quirks that make your pet feel at home. I know how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. Their safety, comfort, and joy are always at the heart of everything I do.

About: I have been sitting for Rover for over a year now and it has been so much fun. I have had dogs my whole life, and now that I have moved to Oregon, and don't have any dogs, it has been such a treat (dog-pun) to spend time with other peoples' dogs. I have vast life-long experience with walking dogs, hiking with dogs, playing fetch with dogs (and also sometimes my nephew, kids like fetch too its kind of interesting), entertaining my dogs, watching tv with dogs, and getting dogs exercise. I love walking dogs and hanging out with dogs and I’m pretty sure dogs love me. I like pretzels a lot, so if you have pretzels at your house, I may consider eating some if that is okay. Dogs like pretzels, but they are salty, so I don’t give them that much, but a pretzel here and there is deserved. Apparently Rover has a word minimum and I do not know what else so I will say Dogs are pretty chill and love humans that respect them. I support humans giving dogs treats! I am very flexible during the week. I run a beer garden in Downtown Bend, so I am usually unable to start sits on weekends, but can sit through weekends if we've started during the week. I hope that makes sense. I am unable to bring dogs to stay at my house. I run a hostel here and have switched my living situation to cater towards a community enviroment. At a client's home, I am comfortable caring for the pet based on any instructions provided

About: I grew up with dogs in the household and I’ve been taking care of dogs for years. My friends and family come to me anytime they need a sitter. I’ve done house sitting while dog sitting. I’m great at following a detailed diet or medication routine. I’d love to make your furry friend feel loved and at home while you’re away! I work Tuesday-Saturday and I’m off work most days by 6pm. I’m able to take breaks as needed throughout the day. I’m available for overnight boarding or house sitting any night of the week. I live within close proximity to walking trails. I’m available for morning and evening walks. I keep a clean home. I do allow pets on the couch and bed. I can provide treats, toys, food and water bowls.

“Christy was such a wonderful caretaker of our kitten! While we felt uncomfortable needing to board a young kitty, Christy was a tremendous relief and comfort while we were away. We received several videos a day, thorough information about how our kitty was doing and even helped us learn some new behaviors and interests our kitty was exhibiting. Sometimes I thought my wife was spending too much time messaging with Christy and not focusing on the trip (lol!), but Christy was more than generous with her time and was very patient throughout. Before our trip, Christy made herself available to meet us and our kitty at the park and it really helped ease our pre-travel anxiety! Once we returned for pickup, Christy packed all of our kitty’s things (which was a ton, sorry, Christy!) and sent her home with some toys that out kitty enjoyed playing with! Would we book Christy again? Already am later next month and you should too! Thank you again for everything, Christy!”

About: My name Sally, and I have two huskies named Wiley and Disco. I grew up with dogs, cats and exotics and have cared for a wide variety of dogs, cats, sugar gliders, turtles, snakes, birds, rats, and more. I even have experience working with wildlife due to my job! Being a dog owner myself who also loves to travel, I know that one of the most stressful parts of traveling or taking a vacation is knowing that your loved one is in the best hands. I am extremely communicative and am available by text/phone at all times. I'm also happy to send pics/updates. I will take great care of your pet and make sure that he/she is happy and comfortable. Whether it's taking for walks, playing fetch, jogging, cuddling, or even training, I will ensure that you don't have to worry about your pup (and he/she will probably be tired when we're done)! I work from home with a fenced back yard so can make sure that your pet gets all the specialized attention that they need on any schedule. I have a fenced in backyard but make sure to always monitor them when they are back there. My dog is an escape artist so I’m used to making sure that everyone is safe and secure at all times.

About: Hello fellow pet lovers. After years of experience caring for a variety of dogs and cats, I understand how unique each one is. It generally takes a few days to get to know their personality, quirks and preferences and to bond with them. The bonding and earning their trust is something I really enjoy. Some love Belly rubs, some love being chased, some are super independent, and some want lots of cuddle time. They all appreciate vocal communication about what's happening and it seems to speed up the bonding time. I find it helpful to communicate with you about your routines and habits with your animals so I can keep them feeling as calm and cared for as possible while you're away. Please see my Trusted Housesitters profile for more reviews. Just search Bend, Oregon and you will find me under my preferred name Hamsa. My legal name is Trista. My daily routine is taking a morning and/or afternoon hike and I'd love to bring your pup along. I'm also available for drop in visits if your precious one just needs some love and attention. I work part time from home as an evolutionary astrologer. I am quite a homebody although I like to take an outing or 2 each day to go hiking and exploring. Taking care of my own body/mind and staying calm, healthy and centered is a big focus during these wild times. Animals are my angels and medicine as they bring me so much joy and fulfillment. I love this job!

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, lizards, crabs, fish, birds, horses, and more! I also offer weekly pet clean up and taxi services for your pet. I have a flexible schedule. I enjoy getting to know new pets. Let me know your needs and I would be happy to help out. I have an animal-friendly fenced yard with lots of room to run. I have a Cat that will just hide under my bed while your furbaby is visiting. At your home, I'm happy to make visits or stay over if needed.

About: Growing up I we always had pets, from the youngest I can remember, I’ve done it all; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, hampsters, hermit crabs, aquariums, as well as stopping to save roads and frogs from the road! (I currently still do this!). Let me know if I could help you! I work full time. At the moment I have Mondays and Tuesdays off. Depending on location and service I can do some things after I’m off work at 9-9:30PM We are very conscious about not letting pets out or escaping from our yard, I take the same seriousness with other peoples pets. We have GPS collars that constant track our fur babies. Whatever I do with your pet’s, you can trust they will be taken care of and loved.

“My cats and I want Trista to come back! She cared for my two sensitive indoor cats from 15 Jun - 24 Jun 2022. Trista was completely reliable, thoughtful, generous, and kind. Her communication was clear. She left the house very, very clean---and even the outdoor plants were well-tended. Trista is someone who values peace and serenity, which was exactly what my cats needed: they got closer to her than they have to almost anyone but me. It helped us that she has her own cute little bus to travel in, so she could arrive the day before my departure, get oriented, and then stay in her bus that night while I was up late, packing. For peace of mind when you're away from home, my household highly recommends Trista.”
