About: Pet Sitting Profile I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’m always happiest when I get the chance to care for them! I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027. In the meantime, I’ll be staying with relatives, so pet sitting and house sitting feel like a great way for us to help each other. I can earn some extra money toward my future home while getting to spend time with some amazing animals, and you can have peace of mind knowing your pets and home are in caring, responsible hands. A little about me: I’m 35, gay, and a friendly, responsible professional who works in hotel sales. I’ll be working fully remote, which gives me plenty of flexibility to be available and give your pets the attention and care they deserve. I currently have a 3-year-old large dog will be getting to vacation at his grandparents. Thankfully, my parents will be helping care for him. which allows me to take on pet sitting and house sitting opportunities. My experience with animals goes well beyond dogs and cats. I’ve had two saltwater aquariums with fish, corals, anemones, and more, as well as a large freshwater aquarium that I maintained for years. Growing up, I also owned several reptiles and have experience helping care for chickens, ducks, and other animals. Whether your pets need walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, aquarium care, or simply someone trustworthy around while you’re away, I’d love the opportunity to help. I genuinely enjoy animals and will treat your pets like they’re my own! I am relocating back home to Grand Rapids on September 15 and I will be working in a fully remote capacity from 10:30am-6pm. I will have a very flexible schedule and no commitments outside of work so last minute needs are easy to accommodate. I do travel for work periodically but that will get communicated well in advance. I have my travels through April on my availability already. I am most comfortable caring for the pets in their own environment. I will be living with relatives upon my return so cannot care for animals in my home unless there is a specific situation that is discussed in advance. I’ve watched relatives and friends pets for years and I am comfortable in many different housing situations!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have been around them for most of my life. Between caring for my own family dog and helping neighbors, friends and family with their pets, I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime and keeping dogs on their normal routines. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate different pet care needs throughout the week. I’m available mornings, evenings and weekends, with flexibility during the workday when needed. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and schedule! I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home and will follow any routines or instructions you provide. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise and care while keeping their environment safe and comfortable. About: I have been a Pack Leader at The Indoor Dog Park and Daycare since March of this year, I am now looking for a more flexible way to work with animals. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s of Biology in hopes of working with animals someday. I have lots handling experience, as well as a deep understanding of animal behavior. Below are some skills I practiced at The Pack: -Supervised large play groups of 25+ dogs simultaneously, ensuring safe social interactions and preventing aggressive behaviors. -Monitored canine body language and group dynamics to intervene early and de-escalate potential scuffles or stress-related issues. -Implemented safety protocols and facility rules that maintained a 100% injury-free play environment across shifts. -Observed and recorded daily changes in animal appetite, behavior, and physical health, reporting concerns promptly to management and communicating daily report cards and behavioral updates to pet owners, building strong customer loyalty and trust. -Controlled intake and release procedures, verifying owner identification and vaccination records for every dog. -Maintained strict sanitation and hygiene standards by regularly disinfecting play yards, kennels, and shared equipment. My schedule is yet to be fully set, so just ask! Anytime might work! I currently am free for a good period of time most days. I am not currently offering pet sitting at my home as it is an apartment and I don’t like confining dogs to such a small, unknown space. In the future I am hoping to have a house in the country with a large yard for my animals!

About: I've been a part of a foster family for dogs of all ages since 2010 and will continue to do so even longer. The puppy litters I watched over the years have consisted of 4 puppies or less. The oldest "puppies" I've fostered were just about 6 months old but they are usually around 4 to 8 weeks. The oldest dogs I've watched were two small dogs: one was 16 years old and the other was 14 years old. Even before fostering, I watched and walked my neighbor's two dogs during all seasons. If she had not moved away, I would still be walking and caring for them now. I've always had a passion for dogs and my current dog, Ruby, is my second .

About: I’ve taken care and lived with dogs or cats my entire life. I have been unable to get one now that I am an adult, and need some more pet time! I’m incredibly patient, loving and excited to show these pets a new friend! I don’t have a yard but my apartment has a dog park i’d take them to if the owner was comfortable! I work full time Monday through Thursday 10-7 then friday 10-3. So I am available for nights and then fully available on the weekends. There is the community dog park easy walking distance from where I live, and multiple trails to provide them with a fun walk! I live in a spacious two bedroom apt alone so they would have plenty of space inside too!
