I am a college student studying Biology at GRCC. I have weekends and Fridays off. When I am not at school, my schedule is pretty flexible. After class, I have quite a bit of time, perfect for dog walks, check ins, or anything your pet may need! When house sitting, I do not mind staying over on weekdays. I will still have school, most classes being 3 hours long, with the exception of my Tuesday class which is 6hrs. If you have questions on when my classes get out, what my schedule may look like, or any thing else, please feel free to reach out!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and communication is number one for me. I have always made sure to keep a good connection with any pet owners I may be sitting/walking for. I have a good understanding on how an animal may react in stressful situations and how to de-escalate a situation. A pet’s safety and health is incredibly important to understand when working with animals.
Information Sierra S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any behavioral concerns, medical issues, specific routines or other concerns of the sort. For dogs especially, please let me know if they are reactive around other animals.
A typical day
I prefer sticking to a schedule or routine that the dog is accustomed to. For high energy dogs, I engage in long walks up to two to three times a day as well as playtime outside. For lower energy dogs, snuggles and cuddles are always fun! For the cats I’ve pet sat before, it varies from kitty to kitty. With more social and energetic cats I am always sure to play with or keep them entertained. As for cats that aren’t as social and energetic, space is important as not to stress them.

Pet care experience
Having been surrounded by animals for the majority of my youth, I was gifted with a passion for creatures of all kinds. Early on, I was tasked with petsitting for family members. I have now started pet sitting for family friends, colleagues, and others. I am looking to expand my reach, looking for more opportunities to give my time to this passion.

Reviews

Sierra was absolutely incredible while caring for my two hectic dogs for two weeks. She is one of the kindest, most caring, and communicative pet sitters I have ever worked with. Throughout my trip, she kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. What truly sets Sierra apart is how much she genuinely cares. During our time away, one of my dogs needed veterinary attention, and Sierra took her to the vet and sat there for nearly two hours, even though she ultimately wasn't able to be seen. Her willingness to spend that time ensuring she was cared for meant so much to me! She also went above and beyond in countless ways, including helping with household tasks like doing laundry, and washing, drying, and remaking the spare bed, which was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. It was clear that Sierra treated our home and our dogs as if they were her own. Undoubtedly will be booking with Sierra again!
Sierra was amazing! She took care of my 3 dogs and 2 cats above and beyond. She was also very good with communication if anything was happening or just for updates as well.
We can’t say enough good things about Sierra! She took incredible care of our dogs while we were away for 10 days. From the start, she was responsible, dependable, and clearly loved our pups as much as we do. She made sure they got plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection every day. Sierra also took wonderful care of our home — everything was spotless when we returned. Her communication was excellent: she checked in regularly, sent photos daily, and didn’t hesitate to ask questions if anything came up. It gave us total peace of mind knowing our dogs (and house!) were in such capable hands. We came home to happy, healthy dogs and couldn’t be more grateful. We’d absolutely trust Sierra again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter! 🐾
