Veterinary Experienced Sitter!
Hello,I am Cherokee, with 4 years veterinarian office and tech experience, I have worked at Pet Vet Family Pet Care Center and Kalamazoo Animal Hopsital. I also volunteer at several shelters and John Ball Zoo! This gives me plenty of professional as well as my personal experience with pets. I am fear free trained and experienced with special needs and fearful pets. I am trained to administer medications including insulin injections. ALL animals are a passion of mine and I rescue and foster. At shelters I'm frequently seen playing with the beautiful pets that come in and getting to know their comfortability. I believe animals truly are our bestfriends and you can be positive they will be treated as my own while under my care! As a bonus, one of my hobbies is photography, you can expect a beautiful photo or two of your babies and of course the standard daily photos to keep you up to date on your babies.

Cherokee watched our dogs for a week while we were overseas. She provided lovely updates with pictures and videos and left our home in perfect condition. We would absolutely recommend her and book again.
Cherokee was great caring for our senior dog. He usually takes a long time to warm up to people but was snuggling up to her within a day. We’re really grateful for her patience with him and being able to administer a variety of medications to him. Thank you!

Cherokee loved our cats, and kept in contact with us while we were away. She managed very well with all of their individual needs and quirks, and even helped train our one indoor/outdoor cat to use its new cat door. They all easily connected with her, and accepted her; she was, of course feeding them! She's fun, and caring, and we will definitely reach out to her again for our next trip away!
Cherokee was great with our dog, kept me updated, sent pics and was extremely flexible!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am blessed with a work from home position, while house sitting, so long as I can access your wifi, I will be able to be in the home full time. For drop ins and dog walking I have full weekend availability and Wednesday most of the day! The rest of the week I can do early morning (before 9) or late night (after 8).

Safety, trust & environment
I follow any and all of your personal rules for your pet and then some. Whatever you say and need for your pet I can and will accommodate. I am very protective, probably "over protective" of our babies and I will always ensure they are leashed, doors stay closed and locked, even with "darters" (I have my own experience with a darter) and will ensure everything is left how you have it, I fully believe in leaving no trace when caring for a home, your home will be just as sparkling as you left it!
Pets
A typical day
I love hiking and with your permission will find walking trails nearby for your pup. I love playing any games your pup plays or if they got lazy bones just snuggling them too. I never forget the kitties either! They will get all the pets (they want that is) and any play toys I can get them to chase I will. At the end of the day I'll follow your specific pets queues and give them the best experience.
