About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy caring for them. I currently care for seven chickens, which has taught me responsibility, consistency, feeding, and paying close attention to their needs. I’ve also cared for my mom’s dog while she was away and helped care for my sister’s puppy. I have a flexible schedule right now and would love the opportunity to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. While I’m not quite ready to have a pet of my own, pet sitting feels like the perfect way for me to spend time with animals and provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I’m currently taking two classes on Monday and Wednesday mornings, each for about two hours. I also enjoy going to the gym and have a flexible schedule around my seven-year-old son’s school schedule. I’m usually up around 7 AM and have plenty of availability throughout the week. I’m happy to communicate with each pet parent and work together to find a schedule that works well for everyone. I’m very attentive to detail and always make your pet’s safety and comfort a priority. I understand that some owners prefer minimal communication while they’re away, so I try to respect that while still keeping them updated when needed. If I’m ever unsure about something, I’ll always ask rather than make assumptions. My home has plenty of space for pets to relax and play, along with a fully fenced backyard where they can safely go potty and enjoy some outdoor time. We have a calm, quiet home with few people coming and going, which helps pets feel comfortable. There is usually someone home, so pets are rarely left alone. If they do need to be alone, it would typically be no longer than 2–3 hours.

About: Fury, hairless, scales and beaks. I’m comfortable and good with all kinds of pets. I can handle multiple at a time or just one little guy. This is what I currently do for work! It fits into most of my routine and allows me to do my hobbies like working out and reading. I make sure to always have food and water available, playtime and walks to get energy out, and cuddles. I just want to say that Francisca took amazing care of our baby Hoslow! When we got home our baby looked happy but missed us! His litter box was clean, his water and food dish was taken care of as well! I am so impressed with her that we will be definitely using her again! Throughout our trip she made sure to keep us informed of how he was and that made our trip go much smoother!
Kristen was an amazing sitter. I've used Rover in the past and have had great sitters who took care of my two cats. My cats tend to be skittish when I'm away and don't always eat all of the food put out for them. This time, Roo and Pachanga were immediately comfortable with her, and the pictures she sent every day showed Roo eating, which was unusual. I found out in a chat with Kristen, that she was distracting Pachanga while Roo ate, so she would be able to eat in peace. Which went above and beyond. I came home to happy and relaxed cats, who showed zero signs of stress or distress. She played with them and I could see in the pictures she sent after every visit, they were being their usual silly selves. I will absolutely use Kristen in the future, knowing they will be in good hands and well taken care of.
Avery was AMAZING with our animals. One of our dogs hates meeting new people but ended up being very comfortable with her and got some kissing in. We loved the photos that were taken for the report card and hope to be able to book with Avery again in the future!

Shelley was amazing yet again! She was super patient yet persistent with our very skiddish dog. She also won over our older more assertive dog that can be intimidating very quickly. She wasn’t scared. She knew what to do. I love getting pics and updates when we’re not home. The reassurance is priceless. We can actually relax on vacation and know they are getting great care. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
