“We have used Abigail to care for our cat several times now, and she has been absolutely wonderful every single visit. She is so caring and attentive, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our girl is in such good hands while we’re away. Abigail always sends detailed check-ins and plenty of photos, which we truly appreciate. She goes above and beyond by keeping food and water dishes clean, refreshing everything, and making sure our cat is comfortable and well cared for. It’s obvious that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We are so grateful to have found someone so reliable, thoughtful, and kind. I would highly recommend Abigail to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Hayley is the sitter that you want to gatekeep! She took excellent care of our boy Henry. So much so that he didn’t seem as excited when we got home. He enjoyed being around her so much!! It’s difficult leaving your furbabies behind when the situation calls for it. Hayley has given us a level of comfort that allowed us to enjoy our weekend away. We already plan to book her again!”

“Evelyn did a terrific job watching ny pet. She followed directions perfectly and you can tell she is a really caring person that goes above and beyond. I plan on using her again in the near future. 10/10 highly reccomended!”

“Cassandra was great! She was quick to respond and did a great job watching our dog and two cats. I highly recommend her and will be contacting her again when we need another pet sitter!”

“It’s been a while since we went on vacation, and were nervous about hiring a pet sitter. Annie put us at ease the moment we met her. She talked with us at length about the needs of our cats, showed a great deal of empathy and compassion and most of all followed through with our plans. We enjoyed seeing our cats warm up to her daily through pictures which really put us at ease. It felt good knowing our cats were in Annie’s hands - she’s a true animal lover! I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i’ve been alive! Growing up I have always been around animals and dogs! From bullies to dachshunds to great danes we’ve had them all. When my parents go out of town I am the one they rely on to take care of there four dogs and I also have two dachshunds of my own! I have potty trained, leash trained and worked on socializing them from the start! I would love to take care of other dogs the way I take care of my own! Like they are my kids! About: Hi, I’m Brianna! I am married and we have a 2 year old daughter and a 4 year old Australian Shepherd! My husband and I both grew up with dogs and we love to care for them. I would love to care for yours, like they’re my own. I am home almost all day everyday, and can take your dog for a walk with our Nala. We walk with a leash on our street, we have a smaller fenced in yard the dogs can run and get their energy out in, and we can play with toys inside as well. I am comfortable with administering medication if needed. I do not work, so i am entirely able to give my attention to your fur baby, and play with them all day long if needed! You can fully entrust your fur baby with me. I will love your baby as if they’re my own. I can send photos and videos if desired!

I have one very outgoing and energetic pup and Jenna makes sure she gets all of her wiggles out while she is there. Hayley watched my two dogs for a full week and did an amazing job. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Both of my dogs were clearly well cared for and happy when I got home. I really appreciate her kindness and responsibility, and I would absolutely trust her to watch them again. Highly recommend!

Emilee was amazing!! She took great care of our two large dogs while we visited in Cosby. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
