“TzuYu was the best cat sitter!! I’ve used many Rovers but she far exceeded my expectations and made sure my babies were fed and played with everyday and even tidied up their area. She provided lots of pictures and even brought over her own cat toys and treats for them. I could tell from the pictures that they loved her and were well taken care of. The last thing a pet owner wants to think about is if their babies are okay and I had no doubts while I was away. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and trained one dog growing up. I have experience walking neighbors dogs and house-sitting for friends and family. Love all dogs! I’m currently working, and evenings and weekends are the most free for me. My schedule will free up significantly around the summer time. I grew up with dogs and have been missing them dearly, so I am excited to have more furry friends in my life! I love taking dogs for walks. I’ll always leash up before opening the door. On walks, I’ll follow whatever style of interaction your pet is used to. I’ve walked dogs who are friendly to other dogs and people and dogs who are not- so I’ve had experience on both ends of the spectrum. It is helpful to know what their dog typically does on a given day, any information is appreciated :). I love to be active and play with dogs, but also respect downtime to rest.

About: I’ve have had pets since I was a kid which created my love for animals and have had my own personal pets for 20 years (5 dogs, 3 cats over the years). I have also become a foster pet parent for the last year( 2 different fosters). I can read dog and cat body language and health needs incredibly well. I have a lot of experience with handling and caring for pets. Unfortunately due to carpal tunnel I had to pick a new path which lead to Real Estate and boy do I MISS MY ANIMAL CLIENTS. About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!
