About: Hey there! My name is Annika, and I’m so excited to take your furry friend for a walk in STL. I’m originally from IL, where my family has had cats and dogs. Hey there! As far as overall care experience with animals, I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, and even a turtle (long story) since I was a kid. On the official dog walking front, I have 3 years of experience completing 360+ dog walks and sitting services through the Wag Walker app. I have also just passed my 2-year anniversary of weekly volunteering at a local cat shelter, Tenth Life Cat Rescue. I've found a way to get along with every personality I've come across, picked up tricks and tools for making sure pets are eating their meals and drinking their water, and cleaned up the most stomach-turning of messes. I'm sure your pet and I will be fast friends, but even if that's not the case and they'd rather hide under the bed the whole time, I will make sure your pet is safe and thoroughly cared for (and we can just be friends in spirit 🥲). My most open blocks of time to provide pet care are in the mornings and afternoons on weekdays, and I can also make my weekends available for care when given enough advance notice. Fridays are the one day each week where I have very limited availability during the day: these are my cat and horse rescue volunteer days. That being said, I can be available starting on Friday evenings for weekend settings, if given enough advance notice. For sittings, I generally stick to services within a 15 mi. radius of my neighborhood, Tower Grove South. This ensures I am a quick drive away from your home in case I need to get over there quickly, and it allows me to periodically check in on my own cats back at home. I'm open to either just dropping by 2-4 times a day to fulfill your pet's needs, or I can stay overnight at your home - whatever is preferred to make sure your pet is cared for and is kept to their routine. I do not offer boarding services. Overall, I believe in over communication and do not make assumptions. If I need clarification on your instructions or if an issue comes up during the service, I will reach out to you immediately. I keep my phone handy for texts and calls from you throughout the service, and will also regularly send photos and videos of your pet. I do not give pets treats unless explicitly instructed to do so. In those approved situations, I will only feed them kinds of treats that you provide. I do this being cognizant of different dietary sensitivities a pet may have and, again, not making any assumptions. Before starting a sitting service, I ideally want a chance to talk with you over the phone at minimum and get a sense of your pet's needs, preferences, triggers, etc., directly. If your pet understandably prefers to stay hidden during my sitting visits, I respect that. I will still look for them just to ensure they are okay. For walks, I do not take dogs to a dog park and/or let them off leash at any point. Even if your dog is completely trained, I don't trust other people with their dogs and will not risk putting your dog in danger. And even while on leash, I am overly cautious about interactions with other dogs and will generally steer away from other dogs in passing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 6 years including my own dogs. I have walked, fed, medicated and cared for all size dogs! From big sweet Argentinian Dogos to small and fiery Chihuahuas. My own Frenchie is epileptic and has severe allergic reactions which has given me experience with sick pets. I am always on watch and careful when on walks! I will care for your pet like one of my own. I currently work 3 days a week as a registered nurse! I have my other 4 days off to care for your pet. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate last minute bookings as well. I am able to provide loving care for pets in the comfort of their own home! I follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication instructions, and plenty of affection. I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a home with no fewer than five dogs at a time, so caring for dogs has been second nature to me for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving them plenty of attention, or simply keeping them company. I’m also a nurse, which gives me a flexible schedule and several days off each week to dedicate to pet care. My nursing background has taught me to be responsible, attentive, and comfortable caring for others, and I bring that same level of care and patience to every dog I look after. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. As a nurse, I work an incredibly flexible schedule that gives me several days off each week, which makes pet care a great fit for me. I will have plenty of free weekdays and weekends. I’m able to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I can often accommodate different schedules depending on your pup’s needs. My days off give me plenty of time to give your dog the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve rather than rushing through a visit. If your pup stays with me, I’ll make them feel right at home! I’ll keep their normal routine as consistent as possible, including meals, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and cuddles. Since I grew up with multiple dogs in the house, I’m comfortable with dogs having different personalities, energy levels, and routines. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I’ll give them plenty of exercise and companionship while also making sure they have a calm space to relax. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how your pup is doing while you’re away.

About: I am a pet owner and animal lover. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, and fish. I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. I have been a volunteer at many animal shelter, so I’m very experienced at handling and taking care of a dog or cat. I can walk for a long distance, so I can walk your dog as often as needed. My house is pretty clean and so it is a safe environment for a dog or cat to be around. I Just graduated college, so my schedule is pretty flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your pets! Plesease don’t hesitate to ask me more about the services. I currently work remotely, so I have a pretty open availability and able to take last minute scheduling as well. Let me know if there is anything else needed. I live in an apartment with a dog park and there is a park very close to where I live. So a lot of open space.
