1. Stephen H.
“Stephen was very communicative, always sent me pictures during each visit, and always mentioned when he was on the way to visit. I appreciated a small paragraph/summary he would always give me at the end of each visit, and after the last visit, made sure to go over everything i kindly reminded him to before i came home. I enjoyed Stephen's energy and knew I could trust him with my babies.”

About: Hey pet parents! With two decades of dedicated animal care under my belt, I bring a wealth of experience to ensure your beloved pets receive the best possible care. I got my first dog when I was 21 and haven't not been obsessed with dogs ever since! My journey in pet care has encompassed everything from active playtime to administering specialized medical treatments. Our family currently has 2 rescue wonder mutts, both of whom can be a bit of a handful. I've had the privilege of working closely with wonderful dog trainers who have taught me how to handle our fearful dogs, helping them build trust and confidence. I have also taken the Fundamentals of Dog Training and Behavior Course through Victoria Stillwell Dog Training Academy, and just began taking the Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification Course. My commitment to the well-being of animals extends beyond routine care, as I've consistently provided attentive support for dogs with various medical needs. One of my dogs, Neko, has an autoimmune disorder requiring daily meds and monthly injections. Your furry family members are not just pets to me; they're cherished companions deserving of exceptional care and compassion. As a pet parent myself, I know how hard it is to leave our furry best friends with someone else. I will be sure to thoroughly go through any and all information regarding your pet's needs and preferences so that I can provide the kind of care I would want for my pups. In addition to dogs, we have always had one if not two cats in the house as well, and am happy to befriend feline companions too! My schedule is extremely flexible. I am available Monday-Friday and able to meet your dog's needs and spend quality time playing, walking, snuggling, whatever your pet prefers! Occasional weekend availability is open to discussion as well. I know my pups are most comfortable at home, so I would love to spend time with your pup in their own space. Clients can expect updates on their pets via text, as well as photos & videos if requested!

8. Jenn S.
“She was communicative and went above and beyond for my two kitties :) she was the first person I hired on here, so I’m really happy that my first experience went so well! What a relief that there are hard working people who also care about pets in STL!”

14. Ethan W.
“Ethan was a wonderful and loving dog sitter! The younger pup was nervous in the beginning meeting a new person. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with Ethan. He is so good with dogs and very responsible. We felt safe bringing him into our home and knew our fur babies were in loving hands. If you are looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, Ethan is your person!”
15. Brooklyn W.
“Brooke! Brooke's amazing. She was reliable, responsive, and you could tell she genuinely cared for the wellbeing of my little ones. I chose Brooke because of her medical proficiency and she did not disappoint. My 16 yr old cat is diabetic and needs daily blood testing and insulin. One day when his blood level was lower than normal range, she offered to make an extra trip to retest and ensure he was doing well. She even lended her knowledge, offering advice based on his levels for my night sitter (which was Very much appreciated). Daily updates and lots of photos eased my anxiety and her calm energy made both me and my lil babes feel comfortable. I will 100% be booking Brooke in the (near) future. I'm so glad Rover exists and even more glad Brooke chose to join!”
16. Samantha B.
“Samantha is very sweet and caring! Always looks after my dachshunds when I need the help. Her having a dog herself helps with her amazing dog skills. She is the best pet sitter I have when I need someone to look after my girls. She will make sure your pets are well taken care of ! Will use her services again .”

About: I have had dogs for over 10 years and absolutely adore all dogs. I love to work with all types of dogs and will be sure to make your dog feel safe and welcome with me! I am a college student and do pet care on the side to help save up for my own dog, so I am available for most of the day excluding classes. I live in a very pet-friendly apartment with a fenced running and bathroom area for pets. There are also plenty of safe walkways for longer walks!
20. Gabriel D.
About: I have dogs at home since 2006. Usually small dogs but in 2021 I adopted and trained my 54lb border collie mix back in Brazil. I have experience with them and their needs like potty, feeding, weather needs and I studied body language to understand the dog during walks and encounters with other animals. I used to walk my dog off-leash as I taught her to obey my commands like walking close, stopping besides the road and potty on-command. I am a full-time graduate student that works from home as a research assistant. Often times I like to take walks to calm the mind and focus, so I have availability to care for other people’s animals. I work only 4h/day and have no hard schedule, so I could juggle with your needs. I have an apartment with a great space that would fit your fur baby easily and with a "bark park" in the property. I live across the street from SLU campus, which is a good location for the dog to be on the grass and enjoying sun/shade from the trees and close enough from Forest Park to, if the weather is not too extreme, walk the dog there.
