These days, my chocolate lab is enjoying his well-earned retirement (walks are officially off his agenda), which means I have all this love and energy to give. I would absolutely love to be your dog’s favorite part of the day! I currently work full time, as a hybrid employee so I’m working for home at least two days for home with a flexible schedule. About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. I’ve hosted dogs in my own home, as well as stayed in clients’ homes to care for elderly dogs who needed extra attention, patience, and comfort. About: I have a 5 year old 100lb staffordshire terrier named Kaido that I raised and trained since he was 6 weeks old. I crate trained, house trained, recall trained, socialized, and lead trained him myself. I have also Kaido to help work with other dogs that are not well socialized or have anxiety issues. I am currently working two part time jobs as a research coordinator so I am typically able to be flexible with whatever schedule is requested. About: Hi! My name is Maria and I live in St. Louis with my dog, Aviva. I love animals and have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats through personal pet ownership as well as petsitting for others. I enjoy providing pets with the attention, exercise, and care they need to feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I am an experienced pet and house sitter with hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets and animals with special medical needs.
