About: Hello! I’m Alison - a lifelong animal lover that would be thrilled to care for your pets (really, I’m animal-deprived and it would make my day). I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years and have experience with all kinds of animals, from feisty felines and shy shelter pups to horses, chickens, bearded dragons, donkeys, etc. I am experienced with unfriendly dogs and cats, elderly dogs, and puppies that are still learning good behavior. If you’d like I can run with dogs to tire them out or just take them on long walks, I live near multiple parks and would be happy to. I do not have any pets myself sadly. I have a very flexible schedule and can host pets at my apartment, do house visits, take pets on long walks, can even do runs with energetic pups.

Tina paid great attention to the details-she even noticed that our AC temp was a bit too warm for the cats and cleaned up the mess without hesitation. About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

Harsh was amazing. I had a lot going on at my parents’ house and needed someone last minute. He showed up within 20 minutes of my request without hesitation. He was respectful, polite, and treated my cats like they were his own. I only had to explain things once and he understood everything right away. He made a stressful situation so much easier for me.
