When caring for a cat in a client’s home I request detailed instructions and encourage setting up a meet and greet so I can fully understand the environment and needs of the cat I am providing care for, especially for overnight visits. I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playing, basic grooming (brushing, etc.) and additional tasks if requested - my priority is to make sure your kitty is as comfortable as possible while receiving the care they need from me.

To make visits as smooth as possible, please provide detailed notes beforehand regarding feeding instructions/schedule, where to find food, where to find treats, where to find bags to clean out the litter box, and where to put bagged litter waste. In terms of your kitty, please let me know if they have any hiding places and tell me a little about their personalities, temperament, or any other special care that they may need.

In terms of activities, I will always cater to the needs and personality cues of the cat I’m taking care of - whether that means providing some calm company, giving them affection and snuggles, playing with toys, or giving them space.

Hello, I’m Anjali! I’m a lifelong animal lover who is dedicated to providing excellent care and plenty of love to your kitties. I’ve been cat-sitting for friends and family for about five years and later worked in a local cat rescue adoption center for a year, which provided extensive experience taking care of cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have truly always loved being able to look after and form bonds with the kitties. I am a current volunteer and cat foster with the same rescue, where I now work hard to nurture and socialize with the cats in my care so they’re in the best place to be adopted! As a result, I am constantly expanding my knowledge of cats and how to adapt to their individual quirks. I have a very thorough understanding of what goes into day-to-day cat care, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and plenty of playtime & affection! I also have plenty of experience with specific care like trimming nails, administering medications, and cleaning eyes & ears; I’m always happy to accommodate cats with special needs and provide additional care!

Anjali house sat our 5 year old cat baby for nearly 20 days while we were away on a family visit to India. She has been a blessing for us . We have never been as comfortable with the care Kiki was getting as with Anjali looking after her. She took care of Kiki with lots of love , affection and patience. She is very experienced and capable in managing cats. We were amazed to see pics and videos of our baby happily purring away and playing with her. We came back to a healthy and happy cat who for the first time did not exhibit any anxiety at our having been away. Very grateful to Anjali for the care she took and will use her services as long as she is available.
Anjali is an incredibly skilled cat caretaker! Her prior experience working in a rescue setting and clear love of cats made her a no-brainer when we found ourselves in need of a petsitter. Anjali has watched our two adult cats multiple times over the course of the last six years, both in our home and taking them to her own for longer boarding/trips. She is sensitive to the needs of each individual cat and does a good job of managing the ‘hard stuff’ (nail trimming, brushing, esp with fussy cats), she keeps to schedules for feeding and other tasks tightly and ensures that our girls feel as loved and comfortable as possible whenever we’re away. Anjali is professional, diligent, kind, and very comfortable with tasks like administering medications or caring for cats with special needs - I could not recommend someone more highly as a petsitter!
Anjali has always gone above and beyond for cats in her care. When dealing with my senior kitty she accommodated his schedule and needs with incredible patience, had no trouble giving him daily medication, and even spent extra time getting him out of his shell playing with toys. It is very clear that she really loves cats and views taking care of them as a joy rather than a job. Her past experience at cat rescues is an added bonus. I cannot recommend her enough!
