“Natalie did an amazing job from start to finish! I had to leave town on fairly short notice, and she was still willing and able to accommodate my pets needs. I have two cats with very different needs, one is older and spicy and takes medicine daily, and I was so impressed by Natalie’s ability to care for her and administer the medication successfully. my older cat even warmed up to Natalie’s gentle nature and allowed some affection! She was also great with my younger cat, who required daily play sessions. Directions I left were followed to a T, and Natalie provided such nice report cards and many photos at the end of each visit! I have a hard time leaving my babies, but Natalie made me feel like they were in great hands. I would recommend her to anyone, and plan on hiring her again as my sitter whenever I can!”

“So glad we found Jazmine, she is super thorough, detail oriented, easy to work with, and most importantly love cats!! She made sure to clarify & note all the instructions we had for our picky senior cat that also needs medicine and went above and beyond during her visit to make sure he eats 🥹she was also super communicative during the visit. we highly recommend her and we will book again :)”

“Sam was amazing with my little pup!! She sent the most adorable photos and was really detailed in her summary of how the visit went. She is a great communicator and puts me at ease knowing my pup is in such great hands!!”

“Jenna was great for checking in on my pup while I was at work! She took lots of photos and a video of their time at the park. It’s easy to tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets and spending time with them. I’ll definitely continue having her take care of my pets!”

About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was just born. I had one cat and one dog growing up both for 18 years and I currently have one cat that is 6 years old with a minor disability. My roommate has three cats. I have experience with behavior training, feedings, vet, appointment, walks, potty training, and recognizing emergencies that need immediate attention. I make my cats wellbeing a priority. They get a morning and an evening walk as well as the ability to go in and out as they please. They get wet food at the same time every day in the evening and dry food available to them always. They also get treats for behavior training and to better their tricks. I am available to complete any and all services needed to take care of your pet, whether that be in my place of residence or yours.

“Outstanding pet sitters! They went above and beyond to care for my cats—ensuring fresh food and water, clean litter, and a clean environment. They gave the beasts plenty of love, attention, and brushing. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets.”

“Jenna was great with our cats! I appreciated she was available on such a short notice and followed instructions as well as played with our cats. We will definitely have her sit for us again!”

About: I am a licensed RVT and CPR certified. I have been in the field about 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and even some livestock. I am a full time employee for UC Davis. I get off work around 6 and have Thursday-Saturday off with flexible pet sitting availability on Sunday I would ensure I wear clean clothes over every time to limit any unwanted illness. With my job specifically I don't deal with sick animals so that won't be an issue. I am also used to placing animal in crates and potty walks.

“Davis was super attentive to my cat, Muc! I received daily reports and photos of how Muc was doing. Davis treated Muc like his own. I really appreciated the attention to detail. Davis is definitely my go-to.”

About: With years of experience in private and public pet boarding, I strive to uphold YOUR standard of love and care for your furry family member(s) while you’re away. While working part time at a daycare, coming home to care for my furry family members is a full time job. Although no two pets are the exact same in their care, I can assist in helping them stick to their regular routines while you’re away. Caring for pets in a clients home will be done in the same manner as they care for them while they are home. I intend to maintain regular boundaries and be consistent with rules that have already been implemented.

About: Hi there! I have 2 years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. From zoomies to cuddle sessions, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I treat each fur baby like family, giving them all the belly rubs, playtime, and attention they deserve. My goal? A wagging tail by the end of every visit! I’m home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which means your pet will have my full attention. Whether it’s extra long walks, playtime in the yard, or cozy snuggles, I’ll be there to keep their tails wagging while you focus on your day. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I stick to their routines; feeding, walks, play, and any special care needs. I always give them plenty of love and attention. Think of me as a temporary stand-in best friend for your furry one!

“Had a great experience. Came by the day before to meet the littles and get acquainted. Sent video and pictures each time and even went the extra mile to hand feed my grumpy old lady when she didn’t want to eat.”

“Sara is the best! We highly recommend her! She's taken great care of our very old Golden Retriever (and chickens), multiple times now, and it's such a relief to know they are in such good hands.”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least one dog in my household and have adopted 2 cats a couple years ago. I pet-sit often for friends and family members and have experience with diabetic pets and administering insulin as well. I currently work Monday - Friday, 8-5. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so am available for Doggy Day Care Friday - Monday. Then I'm available after 5pm Tu/W/Th. I have a small fenced in yard at my place to keep everyone safe and secure. We live across from a park so walks are easy and away from the road. Boarding/DayCare: Your dog has to be good around cats as I have 2. If you're not sure if they are, we can do a test run with them to see. The cats are good with dogs, and are used to having canine friends around - they usually stick to themselves at first until they feel comfortable with a new friend. I have cameras setup in our house I can give you access to as well to keep an eye on your furry companion, upon request.

“This was my first time using Rover and Elyssa met every one of my expectations. She had a very calming energy which my Zoe picked up on right away. I will definitely use her again. Thank you Elyssa!”

“Andrew was perfect and everything I could ask for in a pet sitter. He was incredibly friendly, and I felt completely at ease knowing my senior cat was in excellent hands. My cat has CKD and requires a detailed care routine, but Andrew followed every step perfectly. He also sent us regular updates after each visit, which gave us peace of mind. I highly recommend him!”

Athena Mae J.
“I only worked with Athena for two weeks to house sit for my dog, Ellie. During this time, I had to make the decision to put Ellie down due to health and behavioral reasons. Athena made this process so much more manageable and comfortable for both myself, and Ellie. She provided tips for making Ellie more comfortable while she was alone, helped me find a way to help Ellie eat more consistently, and took her on daily walks and playtime. Athena even created imprints of my dogs paws and nose to remember her after she passed. I couldn't have asked for a more empathetic and loving dog sitter who Ellie immediately latched onto and looked forward to seeing everyday despite it being such a short time. Thank you again for everything, Athena!”

Mikaela J.
“Kaela is one of the most kindhearted and responsible people I know. She has a natural way with animals and genuinely cares for every dog like it’s her own. I’ve seen firsthand how patient, attentive, and loving she is, and I can’t think of anyone better to trust with your pup. The way she is with my Oreo, that’s is literally her bestfriend! Any dog would be lucky to have her as their walker!”

Jared & Andy D.
“I recently hired Jared to take care of my pets. I cannot express how grateful I am for the amazing service he provided while I was away for a week. Jared was professional, courteous, and above all, excellent with my pets. Jared was able to connect with each one of my pets on a personal level. He took the time to understand their individual needs and personalities, and it was clear from the daily updates he sent me that he was treating them with the same love and care as if they were his own. One of the things that stood out to me the most about Jared was his reliability and trustworthiness. I felt completely comfortable leaving my pets in his care and didn't have to worry about a thing while I was away. Jared went above and beyond in every way, from keeping the house tidy to ensuring my pets had everything they needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for a pet-sitter. He is professional, kind, and has a genuine love for animals that is evident in everything he does. Thank you so much, Jared, for taking such great care of my furry family members!”

Metro Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Natalie is awesome. She has done a few drop ins for my cat. I used to leave him home alone, but he wouldn’t eat well and nervous when I got home. I love now that I come home and he is as content as can be. He eats and uses his litter box. He isn’t nervous and I love that I get so many pictures that I don’t feel guilty about taking the dog and leaving the cat lol. I think he’s getting as spoiled as the dog. Natalie is awesome.

Holly took the best care of my two cats who both require meds in the mornings and evenings. She won over their hearts and trust so that insulin injections, pills and syringe meds all went well, with lots of snuggles and playtime. Thank you so much, Holly! 🐾🐾

Payton is awesome! She was super flexible and even available for last minute changes which happens a lot with my crazy work schedule. I felt so relieved knowing she was giving my dog lots of love and cuddles while I was away. Will definitely book her again in the future. Thanks Payton!

We’re so grateful to Kelcya “Kacey” & Elizabeth B.! They took such sweet care of our kitten while we were away—making sure his food and water bowls were full, his litter box was clean, and most importantly, giving him plenty of love and playtime. He was clearly well cared for! Thank you both so much! 💛🐾

Sean was a great last minute find to check in on my kitty, Nori, while I was on vacation. She warmed up to him so quickly, even jumping on his lap. He was great at sending updates and pictures too which is what every pet parent wishes for to be reassured and be able to enjoy their time away from their fur babies. I would work with Sean again 😺

Shannon took such good care of our dog while we were away on vacation! She checked on him 3 times a day and always at the scheduled time. She walked him 2-3 times a day, sent us numerous pictures, and frequently kept us updated on how he was doing. She made us feel confident that he was being well taken care of and given lots of attention, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We would definitely have Shannon watch him again the next time we go out of town!

I am more than overjoyed with Giselle service for drop in visits with my new pup. She is super attentive to him, plays with him plenty to get his energy out, and is great at communicating. My Patches was well taken care of under her watch, and I couldn't recommend her enough.
