We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.

“We did a trial daycare visit to prepare for a longer stay in a month. Everything went so well! Great communication and several updates were sent throughout the day of them playing and resting! I feel much more comfortable leaving them at a new place for their longer stay after this visit. I like taking walks and provide mental stimulation, which is very important for new and unfamiliar spaces I will send photos and videos, and I am open to FaceTime calls, to ease you and your pet mind as much as possible. Im pretty open availability. My job allows me to be flexible. I don’t have any pets of my own as my 13 year old dog passed away a few months ago. I have a really nice dog park in my community, we also have a hike trail, that is my dog‘s favorite place to walk. I like to play fetch with the dogs., of course, always having treats on me. And if you don’t mind, I’d like the opportunity to take them on a Dutch Bros run.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life since childhood. Ive had inside and outside dogs, I would bathe, feed, and teach them how to sit, lay, and stay. I love having animals around, they bring the extra joy I think everyone needs in their life. I currently work from home, so I can give them extra attention and keep them company. I can take them on walks every few hours as well as bathroom breaks when needed. I live next to a park, so I can take the pets for walks and use the restroom. If they need to be in a crate or outside, I have a patio where they can hangout to get some fresh air.
