About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with a special soft spot for cats. I grew up with dogs and I've been a dedicated cat lady for over 20 years. I can't imagine life without my fur balls! I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. I currently work full time, between home and office, so I am unavailable for morning/afternoon check-ins and walks on Wednesdays & Thursdays. If your pup is staying the day with me or boarding overnight, my office is dog friendly and I'd be glad to take them with me to work! I do not currently accept any other type of pet for boarding at my home. My second floor apartment is a quiet, relaxing oasis with many good spots for napping and listening to the birds. I live in a relatively quiet and large neighborhood with lots of blocks to go for walks. Whether I'm caring for your fur-child at your home or mine, you can expect that I will fulfill all discussed expectations. :) My two cats are very chill and friendly. However, Nermal does not have much experience yet with dogs/other cats and may act shy and hiss/meow upon meeting. If this a concern, I can separate the pets with a baby gate so they can still check each other out. :)

“I have never let anyone watch my dog overnight but when I met Barbara for a meet and greet I felt very comfortable with her and her love and knowledge of dogs, especially pit bulls put my mind at ease. She was very communicative and sent pictures and videos to assure me that Lily was having a great time and Barbara and her family enjoyed keeping Lily company. I have an upcoming trip which I’ll be gone for 9 days and this really puts my mind at ease knowing Lily will be in good hands. I would recommend Barbara to others.”
