“Milagros is an excellent companion and walker for my dog Rex. Rex needs a walker who stays alert to his surroundings and is able to anticipate situations which might cause problems. Milagros handles all of Rex's anxieties and redirects when needed. Rex comes home happy and relaxed. Milagros walks Rex 5 days a week while I recover from a broken leg. She is on time, communicates well, and enjoys Rex. I trust her completely and am grateful to have found Milagros to help out for the next couple of months.”

About: I’m here for my mental health. This helps me get out of the house more and allows me to allocate my energy towards other people’s pets now that my dog has passed :( RIP Maisy 💕 Let me know what type of service you need. Price may be negotiable. So go off and do whatever you need to do—I’ll just be hanging out with your babies and stealing all the cuddles. Expert at positive reinforcement—I’m a behavior analyst. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, special care dogs, and cats. I’ve owned 2 small dogs and fostered cats over the years. I’m really looking forward to my therapy session 😌 I travel between California and Canada. When I am in the States, I work from home so I’m most available within the Greater Sacramento area 7 days a week and flexible with time. Happy to work around your needs to the best of my ability. I will follow your instructions as described and based on your pet's needs. I can pop in to check on animals, let them out/go for a walk, clean pet areas, feed, scrub them down, administer medication, and even water your plants while I’m there (since plants are the new pets and pets are the new children).
About: I live in east Sacramento. I absolutely adore dogs of all shapes and sizes: from big slobbery booboos and small lap dogs. I can promise you fantastic care, including lots of dog selfies or doggy facetime if you wish. I have experience and can provide references, of course! Very much looking forward to meeting you and my new 4 legged friend! The house has a big fenced backyard. I have experience with dogs with medical conditions, and am accused to giving medication (had an epileptic St. Bernard for many years). I liked to jog and hike with my dog, so if your dog needs lots of exercise- this is the perfect home for you! Thank you for considering me. I work from home, I can give uninterrupted time and attention. There are no other pets in this home. I get up very early (4am) and am typically asleep by 9. I could send you photos every hour, your fur baby is safe with me. There aren’t any hazards aside from stairs and a few plants in my home. There are no other pets.

About: 3 years of kennel and veterinary assistant experience through various veterinary clinic environments and grew up with dogs, cats and bunnies. Comfortable with some grooming and other services, just ask! I trim nails every 4-6 weeks. Litter boxes get freshened up weekly and full changes and cleaning are 1-2x a month. I don’t currently own dogs but walk my sister’s dog and my cat on a harness occasionally. Feedings are twice a day and grooming once a week. Let’s start that conversation together. I work best with clear communication and knowing what is needed for day care and overnight pet sitting. Willing to work with the right client.
“Amina was great! She responded to my request quickly, was punctual and proactively communicated. My grand dog warmed to her immediately and they had a great walk. She also helped me navigate the Rover app since I’m old - lol. I highly recommend her for walks and if I lived in the Sac area full time, I would use her regularly. She gave me peace of mind knowing he was well cared for. She was professional and personable and I can’t thank her enough!”

“Andrea has been walking my dog Jack for a a couple of weeks now and he has been so happy with her! He is skiddish and shy, but has taken very well to Andrea, which I think speaks well of her! They walk during lunch and he is so much more calmer in the afternoons and when I get home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life (cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, reptiles, and more) so I’m pretty comfortable with all kinds of pets and personalities. I have a cat of my own and am very much the go-to auntie for a lot of other cats and dogs. I love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and a little spoiled while you’re away. I'm off work through mid-May, so my schedule is pretty open right now. Something consistent is always easier to plan for but I will do my best to be as available as possible! My cat is an indoor only cat at the moment. We do have a fenced in courtyard in our apartment that's rather spacious and shady as well!
“Marina is so great! She is reliable and she is always on time! We booked with her a couple times and Bentley is always happy and relaxed after spending time with her. I totally would recommend her and book with her again!”

About: I’ve been a proud pet parent for 5 years. I adopted a senior dog and have experience navigating care for dogs in that stage of life. My pup is leash reactive so I also have extensive experience navigating walking a reactive dog. I’m also an avid runner who is currently training for a marathon and happy to take energetic dogs on runs. I work from home full time and glad to take time to check in on your pet and help ensure they get plenty of exercise. I’m an early bird on weekends and often up early running. Medical Center dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amina was great! She was professional and personable and I can’t thank her enough!

Andrea is amazing. I had a logistically complicated day, coming through Sacramento from 1.5 hours away for a doctor appointment and then continuing on for the last two hours of my trip. I'd never met her so I was worried about all the chances for something to go wrong. But everything was *perfect*. First, Andrea was amazing about staying in touch, and answered questions quickly and cheerily. She was extremely flexible, and even showed up a bit early so I'd had no reason for anxiety. My pup Willie loved his time with her and her boyfriend. It couldn't have been a better experience. Thank you, Andrea!

Tyson was immediately accepted by our dog, Chance. Then he only needed to hear the walk and feed instructions once, so keeping Chance inside of his routine as much as possible and providing us with peace of mind. Really happy with Tyson and grateful for his natural way with animals.

I have a small breed senior dog and a cat. Its hard to find someone I feel I can trust to give them the same care and attention as myself when I am away from home. Natalie is someone I know I can trust my babies with, she takes a bunch of photos each time she walks my dog and feeds him. She goes above and beyond every time and I can tell my dog and cat absolutely adore her and are happy when she comes to help. Thank you Natalie!

Emily is great - reliable, communicative and a very calming presence for my pups. They are always excited to see her and are happy and tired after their walks. Emily also keeps an eye on my older girl and brings her back early if she's getting too tuckered out. They even seem to behave themselves with her so she has been a very good influence.
