“First time ever booking with Rover or having my dog cared for while I was away. She is a handful!!! But I came back and Dustin had already gotten her used to the "Gentle Leader" leash......where did my crazy dog go that pulled my arms off???!!! She was transformed. Just enough discipline balanced with lots of love. I was super relieved to leave her in his care- he is excellent. (although I dont want too many people to book him so that he has no time for me again....)”

“My dad and I had a sitter cancel last minute and she was more than happy and willing to step in! I cannot say enough good things about her. Our pets were immediately taken with her. She left the house neater than we left it which was much appreciated. Unfortunately they broke some things in the house and glued them back together and never let us know. It would have been fine if they let us know but they refuse to acknowledge the broken items now.”
“Second time having Melinda take care of my babies. She is timely, communicative, takes great care, and leaves the house so tidy! With several senior citizens, it’s nice to know they are in such good care with Melinda!”

About: I have been dog sitting and taking care of pets since I was 15. I love being with dogs of all ages and breeds. I have a soft spot for anxious or nervous dogs as I also have a nervous dog at home myself! I will be sure to send you photos and updates every day about your pet and will treat them like they are my own pup. They will be well taken care of and receive lots of love when they are with me. I am currently working full-time, but I am available to come by on my lunch break for a potty break or walk, and can come take care of your pet before 8am and after 5pm. If you prefer to keep your dog crated, I make sure they are not being destructive to your home while I am gone. I also make sure to give them plenty of mental stimulation, and I will clearly communicate all matters to you.
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and exotic pets. I love all animals and am very patient and understanding with animals. I love to spend my free time with pets and will treat your fur baby like my own. I work remotely as an independent contractor part time so I make my own schedule. Given that I am able to work with your schedule easily and be flexible. I will always treat your home and animals with the utmost respect and kindness. I love animals and will treat your animals like my very own. I am patient and gentle and overall good with reading animals to ensure they are comfortable and happy when being taken care of by myself.
“Jazmin was great! She kept our house clean, followed all instructions, and even helped give our dog eye drops when it wasn’t in the initial instructions. Our animals were very happy with her! She was very communicative and sent us lots of pictures and videos of our babies!”

“I’ve never felt so comfortable and anxiety free leaving my beloved animals while on a trip. So grateful for her wonderful care, clear and detailed communication, and the ease all around.”

“Kerstin is wonderful! She stayed with our two pups and kept us updated while we were away, and went above and beyond by coming back to check in on our girls and feed them when our flight connections failed and our homecoming was delayed. My husband and I are grateful she looked after our dogs so well, she made us all feel like family.”

“Holly has pet sit for us on several occasions now. She’s always so communicative and attentive, and our pets love her! We can always leave town with full confidence that our pets are so loved and cared for when Holly is around— she’s so patient and thorough with our elderly dog and all of his supplements in particular. Thank you, Holly!”

“Another awesome experience in the books! As always, Bari took fantastic care of our pup, communicated well, and left our house in great shape. I am so grateful for Bari!”

“Jodie is an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of all our cats. We have elderly cats on different medicines and are finicky eaters. Jodie did great with their long and complicated schedule. Jodie also left the house cleaner than we left it. Jodie was great at giving daily updates with videos and photos which gave us great peace of mind while away on our trip.”

“Jennifer & her daughter did a great job taking care of Luna and even took her to the river to cool off and play in some water! Her daughter was very professional and sent multiple pictures and updates! Thank you!”

“Joel was gracious and accommodating when I had a last minute need for a dog sitter. He asked thoughtful questions that gave me confidence that he’d take good care of my boys. And he sure did! They had a great time with Joel. He’ll be first on my list for any future dog sitting needs!”

“Ashley did an AMAZING job house sitting and caring for my senior poodle GiGi. It was my 15-year-old’s first time cared for by someone outside the family…she was very patient, and earned my anxious dog’s trust. Ashley also earned my trust, sending pics and updates and leaving my house spotless. I have to stop writing because I want to reserve Ashley’s services for some upcoming trips!”

“Christina was extremely efficient and competent in taking care of our morkie and beagle for 11 days. Both dogs had some health challenges while we were away, and Christina handled everything smoothly with care and compassion. She kept in touch with us the whole time with reports and photos. And it was obvious she developed a personal relationship with each of our dogs. I would hire Christina again in a heartbeat. She is a joy to work with.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and I currently have two large (70+ lb) dogs. I grew up with small to medium dogs and before my current pups, I dog/cat sat all manner of dogs and cats from friends and family. I am very detail oriented and attentive when providing care for pets and have a calming presence that pets quickly grow fond of. I have experience with crate training, leash training and giving oral and topical medication. I have created extensive care documents for my own dogs and am happy to follow as many instructions for your pets' care. I'm currently unemployed so I have immense flexibility throughout the weekdays and weekends. I have availability to check in on, walk and house sit your pets. I'm happy to visit your pets and help with feeding, walking or any other specific care you need while you're away. I really enjoy playing with dogs as well and especially if they like fetch! I love to throw and unfortunately my dogs don't have a taste for that so I'm happy to keep your dog exercised. I also like to go on really long walks and sometimes run with dogs if your dog needs more exercise. Otherwise, I'm happy to cozy up with your pet and I can even stay overnight if needed.
“Absolutely wonderful! My girl was so well loved, cared for, took her ok so many walks and adventures and was such a great communicator. Thank you Janessa for being amazing!”

Medical Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Heidi did a fabulous job house sitting our anxious dog, Polly. We were very happy to see that Heidi got Polly to go on walks, which she normally refuses with new sitters, in the daily updates. We came home to a happy, healthy pup and the house was just as we’d left it. We would highly recommend Heidi to anyone looking for a responsible and caring sitter.

As always, Joel takes great care of Loki, and treats our home with respect. Joel is officially part of Loki's family, he is always so happy to see Joel when he comes through the door! We will see Joel in a couple of weeks when he cares for Loki at our home again.

Can’t say enough good things about Yulisa. She has taken care of our elderly dog and house several times with great care and compassion. She has always been kind and pleasant in our communications, asked questions and notified us of circumstances when appropriate, and showed up when she said she would. Our house was always spotless after her stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Yulisa again!
Keishla took great care of my large dog and cats while I was away. She even won over the affection of my more skiddish kitten! From the meet and greet, through the end of the sit, Keishla was respectful, responsive, and professional. She spent plenty of time playing with the animals, kept the house clean, and sent several updates and pictures throughout the sit. I would happily book her again!
