“Melinda is a fabulous pet sitter. She is super responsible and communicative. She treats our beloved dog and our home with tons of care and respect. Moreover, our dog LOVES her and she makes this anxious boy feel happy and safe. I highly recommend Melinda for all your fur friend needs.”

“Carolyn was absolutely AMAZING with our senior pup Mitzi while I was away on a business trip. Carolyn provided the best, high-touch care and was so understanding and patient with Mitzi’s senior needs. I loved the regular pictures and video updates - it was clear Mitzi really bonded with Carolyn and I felt so at ease knowing Mitzi was in the best hands. Would absolutely recommend Carolyn and rebook again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Keishla and can’t recommend her enough. She went above and beyond caring for our cat and our home, and her thoughtful updates and photos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a house in perfect shape. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to watch your pet, book with Keishla without hesitation. We are already planning on having her back again!”

“We had a great experience working with Jazmin! She stayed in our home for two nights, treated our house with great respect and left everything clean and tidy. Most importantly, she truly loved our pups. She sent us frequent photos and videos that gave us so much peace of mind and she even surprised the pups with pup cups as a special treat 🐶❤️ We could tell our dogs were happy and well cared for. Highly recommend her!”

“Jnaessa took loving care of my three critters (a needy dog and two cats). She gave them love and attention including extra attention to my fussy eater old lady cat to get her to eat. She sent me pictures daily. The house was neat as a pin when I arrived home. I will definitely be booking Janessa again.”

“Wonderful! Dustin sent photos every day, followed lots of instructions, left my old, high-maintenance, pups in great condition upon my return, and was considerate and conscientious- leaving my house better than he found it. I would be delighted to have Dustin house and dogsit for me again. He’s the best!”

About: In my younger years I was known as that house you could trust your pets with, which sadly led to less boarding and daycare services and more abandonment of pets on my doorstep. I accepted each surrender because I always figured better here with me then on the streets. After successfully adopting out all these love bugs to people I knew and trusted over the years, I've found myself in smaller quarters. I've found comfort and fulfillment in caring for outdoor cats (commonly referred to as strays) Taking in an orange Tabby to call my own in the process. I've made friends with neighbors who share the same love and passion and through these connections found community - a cat community! I currently care for three cats (siblings), house-sitting as well while their human parents are away. Each individual cat has it's different wants/needs. Through these experiences I've learned gaining trust and love is different for each individual feline. I'm looking to expand my care/services to neighboring cat families mainly because I love cats and know how important it is to have a community of cat folks in your corner when duty, vacation or emergencies call. I'm currently employed by Uber Eats so I make my own schedule. I'm open to weekend care as well. The only thing I do religiously is cultural dancing on Wednesday nights. My current clients are all indoor kitties so I am used to securing the household, feeding on a schedule throughout the day and doing enrichment with them be that play or individual love and cuddle time. I prepare meals specific to each cats needs, keep litterboxes and surrounding areas clean and keeping water stations fresh.

“Bari was wonderful! We felt totally secure leaving our dogs and cat with Bari. She was communicative, helpful, and all-around awesome. Would definitely recommend her. Thank you, Bari!”

“Jennifer & her daughter did a great job taking care of Luna and even took her to the river to cool off and play in some water! Her daughter was very professional and sent multiple pictures and updates! Thank you!”

“Tessa took care of my house and puppy for the first time. She did a great job, very dependable and a great person to have in the house. Will be booking her again. Thanks Tessa.”

“Aicha was fantastic! She stayed over at my house with our baby for 4 days and was so responsive, respectful, and loving to our kitty! The house was in good shape when we returned and she sent us consistent images throughout the stay to show off how much fun she and the kitty were having. We would rebook (and did!) at any time. Thanks Aicha!”

“I’ve never felt so comfortable and anxiety free leaving my beloved animals while on a trip. So grateful for her wonderful care, clear and detailed communication, and the ease all around.”

“Great dog sitting experience with Jenna!! So kind and thoughtful of our dogs needs! Unfortunately we had a need for Last minute booking and Jenna was available and we were blessed!!”

About: I have been house and pet sitting for over 15 years. My love for animals is a core part of who I am and how I like to spend my time. I grew up around a wide variety of animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, and horses, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age I helped tend to our rotating family of 2–5 dogs at a time. This gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors with special needs. I currently share my home with my two beloved cats (Ellie & Ripley, 6yo sisters), and I also help care for several neighborhood cats regularly. I understand that each cat has a unique personality and needs, and I'm happy to learn your kitty's special habits and routine. Your feline family members will be in experienced and loving hands. As a house sitter I am clean and respectful of all pet owners' privacy and personal space. I have prior experience managing properties, so I am familiar with a variety of home styles and their practical needs (e.g. keeping old houses cool in summer). I will take good care of your home so that you have one less worry while traveling. Whether your pet needs extra patience, medication management, or just lots of playtime and cuddles, I bring genuine care and a lifetime of experience to every visit. Your pets won't just be looked after, they'll be loved. My husband and I take care of our own two pets every day. We're very proactive about refreshing water dishes and litter boxes, as well as enforcing everyone's diet and feeding schedule. I also help care for my neighborhood outdoor cat colony. We help keep them fed and safe. I treat my client's home with respect and privacy, prioritizing your pets comfort and routines. I'm happy to play with them or just give them some quiet company while you are away and they are missing you.
“Elisa took on a last-minute housesitting booking and did such a great job! She was so loving with my pup and gave her lots of exercise. She sent lots of pictures and was very communicative overall, followed the instructions I left perfectly, and left the house very clean. I will absolutely plan on booking her again, including for drop-ins. Thank you Elisa!”

Medical Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Janessa did a fantastic job watching my cat and house while I was away. She sent regular photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind knowing everything was being well cared for. My cat was happy and relaxed when I returned, and the house was just as I left it. I would definitely hire Janessa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Really can’t say enough great things about Katelyn!! She cared for our dogs as if they were her own, and left our house absolutely immaculate. She absolutely went above & beyond. Great communication & responsiveness, and it’s clear she’s a real animal lover! We will certainly ask her to care for our dogs again and recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent sitter. 🤗
Laura has been the most flexible, understanding, and easiest sitter - my boys love when she stops by. She texts and sends photos, which brings peace of mind at work. I haven’t found the right person to help ever since I moved back to Sacramento, so I’m lucky she and I connected. Trust me y’all, shes the one! Thank you Laura ✨

Jacob was awesome. I needed a dog sitter for two large retrievers for a short out of town trip. Jacob was available and we set up a time to meet. Jacob was prompt and very professional. I was very comfortable with having him stay at my home with the dogs. During his stay, he was very communicative and sent lots of photographs. He didn’t mind my constant checking in from afar. My neighbors gave him their nod of approval. He treated my dogs like they were his own and that was much appreciated. They were very spoiled while under Jacob’s care. I would highly recommend Jacob. You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to having him return for future dog sitting.

Four stars all the way . Mel was so great ! We never used Rover before this time and I was a little worried. But meeting Mel and seeing how well she took care of our 11 year old Opie , I will only use Mel from here on out . Opie seems to really like her and she gave us updates the whole three days. She even cleaned and washed her towels . You can’t ask for a better pet sitter . Thank you so much Mel ! We really are happy we picked you . Michelle and Opie

Camilla watched my dog Patsy for a couple of nights while I was away for a wedding. I felt very comfortable leaving Patsy in her care and that’s not an easy thing to do as she is an old girl and reactive while on walks towards other dogs so leaving her always makes me nervous. Right away Camilla was very friendly and warm towards Patsy and I could tell Patsy liked her right away! Camilla sent me regular updates which I appreciated and helped me be able to relax while traveling. When I got home Patsy was clearly well cared for and my house was as clean as I left it. I will definitely be using Camilla again in the future and I’d recommend her to anyone who may need pet care in the future!
