Please let me know if your pet has any special medical or physical needs ahead of time, as well as behaviors I should be aware of to maximize their comfort and everyone's safety. It's very helpful to know about special circumstances prior to scheduling a Meet & Greet. If you will not be reachable by phone while you are away (camping, festivals, etc.) please have an emergency contact prepared to make decisions for your pet in case of extreme circumstances. If your pet has special or active medical needs, it is helpful to provide your vet’s contact info and have a payment method prepared to cover veterinary costs. This is not required, but much appreciated.
A typical day
While hanging with your pet(s), I will play with their favorite toys, do whatever enrichment activities you typically do with them, spend time outside (if allowed), give lots of pets, brush their hair, and whatever else they are into. If your pet likes company but doesn’t want attention, I have plenty of reading and computer work to do while we just chill in the same space. I am diligent about refreshing water, food, litter, etc. so your pets will have consistency and minimal stress in your absence.

Hello! I’m new to Rover, but entering the game with a lifetime of experience in pet care and house sitting. I absolutely adore animals and am ready to be your pet’s new bestie. I specialize in caring for cats and small to medium sized dogs, but I’m flexible, so please feel free to reach out with questions. I have two beloved indoor cats (Ellie & Ripley) and help care for my neighborhood cat colony (Cowboy, Bandit, Siren, Margo, Andy, Daisy, Mugsy, etc). Every kitty has a unique personality and different needs. I’m happy to learn your cat’s individual routine and quirks so you don’t have to worry about their standards being met while you are away. I grew up with 2-5 dogs in the household at a time, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of various sizes, breeds, and stages of life. Whether your pup needs extra patience, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, they will be in good/loving hands.

Kilani was AMAZING! My kitties came out to greet her instantly. Even my shy kitty came out and said hello, which is very rare for him (he usually hides). I immediately loved and trusted her. She has such a sweet and calming energy and she is also very professional. Asked a lot of good questions at our meet and greet to make sure we were all set up for success. She stayed overnight for the weekend with my two kitties and sent me photos every day. I didn't worry about my kitties once because I knew they were in good hands. And from the photos, I could tell my cats were SUPER comfortable with her because they were chillin in all their favorite places. Kilani will for 100% be my go-to cat sitter, and she should be yours too!
Took care of my 2 cats for over a week. Very attentive and communication was very good! She definitely gave me no worries and I knew my cats were in good hands when I went away. Will definitely be using her services again!
