Hello! I’m new to Rover, but entering the game with a lifetime of experience in pet care and house sitting. I absolutely adore animals and am ready to be your pet’s new bestie. I specialize in caring for cats and small to medium sized dogs, but I’m flexible, so please feel free to reach out with questions. I have two beloved indoor cats (Ellie & Ripley) and help care for my neighborhood cat colony (Cowboy, Bandit, Siren, Margo, Andy, Daisy, Mugsy, etc). Every kitty has a unique personality and different needs. I’m happy to learn your cat’s individual routine and quirks so you don’t have to worry about their standards being met while you are away. I grew up with 2-5 dogs in the household at a time, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of various sizes, breeds, and stages of life. Whether your pup needs extra patience, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, they will be in good/loving hands.

As a house sitter I am clean and respectful of each pet owner’s personal space. I will take quality care of your home so that you have one less thing to think about while traveling. I aim to treat everyone’s home and pets the way I would want mine treated: protected and loved, with attention to detail.

Kilani was amazing with my anxious little Poppy girl for a week while I was traveling out of state. Sent daily updates and incredible photos that really helped put my mind at ease! Will definitely want to rebook with her!
Kilani is incredible! Our two cats warmed up to her right away and you could tell she was very comfortable and knew what she was doing. Kilani was very punctual and responsive with her communication too. As an added bonus, the photos she sent of our girls were phenomenal! We will definitely book again.
Kilani kept me updated with photos and a detailed description of Ginger over 5 days. She troubleshot and fixed an ant problem in Ginger’s food. Ginger is my mom’s cat and they live in the memory care section of an assisted living facility. Kilani seamlessly handled the logistics of getting in and out of both the facility and my mom’s apartment with politeness. She took excellent care of Ginger.
Kilani took care of my senior tripod kitty with knowledge and kindness for 5 days. Allie was having a bout of constipation. Kilani kept me updated with photos and detailed narratives and did all I asked to help get Allie flowing again. I could not have asked for a better cat sitter.
Kilani was so amazing with my baby Sandwich. She was very communicative and super kind!

Schedule
I’m primarily a self-employed artist/small business owner who works from home so I have an extremely flexible schedule. Feel free to reach out with last minute requests, especially if you are re-booking a service and I have already met your pet before.

- Please let me know if your pet has any special medical or physical needs ahead of time, as well as behaviors I should be aware of to maximize their comfort and everyone's safety. It's very helpful to know about special circumstances prior to scheduling a Meet & Greet. If you will not be reachable by phone while you are away (camping, festivals, etc.) please have an emergency contact prepared to make decisions for your pet in case of extreme circumstances. If your pet has special or active medical needs, it is helpful to provide your vet’s contact info and have a payment method prepared to cover veterinary costs. This is not required, but much appreciated.
