“I dropped off my 7 lb chihuahua, Molly, for a daycare session with Hana yesterday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: I live alone and in a walkable part of the city. Life long lover of dogs and experience with senior dogs and small dogs. Care and command go hand in hand. I work remotely from home and am available weekends and every other Friday. I am an avid walker and live near multiple parks and a popular dog park in town. I care for the dogs by providing them with comforts they would normally get at home such a a bed or toys and treats as well as possible walking routes and parks they may be familiar with.

She was very understanding and was able to accommodate the overnight stay on extremely short notice. We cannot thank her enough for the patience and understanding. “She was very patient and flexible with my ever changing plans due to weather and my commitments to be at a friend’s bday. I was not able to drop my dog off , but she was more willing to take my smaller dog in and cage him in a quiet room so he would feel safe. She also agreed to take him out for a walk. Due to the weather the same day we confirmed, but on the way cancelled and paid for the day care as this is her livelihood. We could have asked to cancel, but that is not what good pet parents do. They make sure people like Mrs. Achara are taken care of as well. I will use her in the future when we are in West Sacramento. Our dog is almost 15 and she was committed to taking care of him in the way we felt was best for him.”

I’m a volunteer/foster home at Front Street Animal Shelter and have fostered multiple dogs and puppies. I’m at my happiest when I’m surrounded by them, whether it’s throwing a ball in the park, brushing their fur, or just watching them dream with those little leg twitches. Dogs have this incredible gift for bringing out the best in us and filling our days with genuine happiness. I’ve been bringing my sister’s dog up from Fresno to stay with me for weeks at a time, and it’s been pure bliss—extra playtime, more cuddles, and that doubled-up dog joy. But to amp things up even more, I’m thinking about diving deeper into dog-related adventures: volunteering at a local animal shelter (walking and playing with pups who need it most), trying out dog agility classes or hiking trails with furry friends, joining a dog meetup group for pack walks and play dates. I make my dog healthy foods to eat, I always wash her up after walks and play with her with her toys, we love to just chill on the couch and watch tv.
