About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs for my entire life. From elderly beagles to pitbulls with no concept of their own size, I love them all! I'm experienced with special needs pets, having personally taken care of pets who are blind and deaf; who have FIV, FeLV and CKD; and who are missing teeth and tail. I am familiar with giving meds orally (both pill and syringe form), taking care of sick pets, and monitoring symptoms. You know what your pet needs, and I always make sure quality care is given in your absence! I am currently available mornings, afternoons, and nights M-F and weekends. I am a teacher with lots of spare time during the summer! I prefer mornings and nights for walks to prevent your pets from overheating. I currently do not offer boarding for pets in my home. I aim to respect your home and leave it cleaner than I found it! I'm happy to clean pet bowls, vacuum pet beds, etc.

“Liz was so sweet, personable, and attentive. Liz fed my dog, took her for a walk, and even sat on the floor with my dog to ease her anxiety. If you ever need a dog sitter in the Detroit area, I highly recommend Liz!”

“Kirstin house & dog sat for us for 5-6 days and I could not be happier, she was extremely responsible and responsive, taking care of Luna Like she was her own. Luna was happy while we were away and it seems like she was even more comfortable taking long walks (Luna is a 6 months) I will totally hire Kirstin again!!”

About: I have great knowledge in training puppies as well as being great with adult dogs. I have an exceptional memory and will be a great option for anyone wanting their pet to have a fun and a safe time. I am currently working part time and in college, in my free-time I would like to make some extra money on the side, pet care is perfect. I am currently living in a duplex apartment so I have no yard, but also no pets at home to bother. I have a large crate if needed.

“Jessica was wonderful with our girl! I have never used Rover before and I would absolutely leave Jubilee in Jessica's care again. She stayed in communication often and provided updates with photos throughout the stay at our place. Couldn't recommend more.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and truly see it as second nature. Whether it’s a wiggly puppy with endless energy or a senior pup who needs gentle love and patience, I’ve been there for it all. Rover allows me to step into my favorite role—the fun, reliable auntie—who makes sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m very active and love including pups on walks, park trips, and light adventures if they’re up for it. At the same time, I know the value of slowing down, snuggling, and giving extra attentive care when they just want comfort. From the tiniest 10-pound lap dogs to big 100-pound gentle giants, I adapt my care to fit each unique personality. Above all, I’m nurturing, responsible, and attentive—so you can feel at ease knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I’m an early riser, so morning walks and breakfast snuggles are part of my natural rhythm. Working from home in the heart of Detroit allows me to give consistent attention and plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. With the Riverwalk and several dog parks just steps away, daily exercise and fresh air fit seamlessly into my schedule. Whether your pup thrives on playful park trips or prefers cozy cuddle breaks, caring for dogs blends beautifully into my routine—I truly enjoy making them part of my day. I go above standard care by creating a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where pups feel endlessly loved. Whether I’m in your home or welcoming your dog into mine, I’m attentive, responsible, and tuned into their unique needs—because every furry friend deserves to feel safe, happy, and right at home.

About: I grew up in a family full of animals, and I loved every second of it. Being in college has made me sad to be apart from my animals, so I will be glad to help watch your pet. I love playing with, tending to, and taking my puppies on a walk and would love to give some love to your animal as well. I am very responsible and can be trusted. I am a college student who also works part time at as a Physical Therapist Aide, so I am available Friday through Sunday. I have a large house with outdoor area, and also live in a nice, dog friendly neighborhood for walking! I am very respectful of other people's space. I also have a very clean home with outdoor area for animals to play. Me and my 4 roommates all love animals, so your pet would get lots of love.

Medical Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashton was fantastic, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Our pets adored her immediately, even our very shy cat felt comfortable with her right away. She left our house clean and our pets so happy. I would recommend her to anyone in need of pet care and would book her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Ashton!

Randi took such great care of our pets!! She gave our cars and dog lots of love, attention, enrichment and activity as well as excellent daily care for their day to day needs. I also loved that she sent lots of cute pics of our babies while we were away, I was missing them while I was away. Randi was an excellent sitter and I would highly recommend her and would happily book her again!

Abdullah was a great sitter for my old pup, had prompt communication and pictures, and followed the notes for feeding and walking times. My dog is older in life, about 75 lbs, with limited use of his hind legs and takes daily medication. Abdullah was able to maneuver him into his wagon, help him while outside in the grass, and take care of any accidents. It was a great experience working with Abdullah from initial communication about the booking to post trip follow-up.

This was my first time using Rover and I was admittedly pretty nervous. Loryn made everything so easy and calmed any nerves I had. My dog is pretty high energy, anxious and requires a lot of attention. Loryn took it all in stride and made it seem like no big deal at all. She kept me updated the entire week and sent pictures and videos and left my house in great shape. I will not hesitate to book her again.

Haleigh was amazing. This was my first time using Rover for an overnight stay. Haleigh met me and my dog, Jax, before the booking and I trusted her immediately. She is so professional and clearly loves animals. She sent pictures during her stay at my house and her communication with me was excellent. I recommend her 100% and will absolutely use her again.
