About: I grew up around many animals, especially dogs! Breeds I’m most familiar with include shar-peis, pitbulls, rottweilers, and German shepherds! I’ve also taken care of bunnies, guinea pigs, leopard geckos, and bearded dragons, so no pet is too much for me! Both of my girls have crossed the rainbow bridge but we got to enjoy their golden years together, going for walks and soaking up the sun. For the overnights I appreciated her enthusiasm and communication throughout the stay. She provided daily updates and was happy to send more whenever I wanted, which I really appreciated. She also made a good effort to keep the dogs’ routine as consistent as possible, and I could tell she genuinely wanted to do a good job caring for them. One of the dogs happened to get into a few things, including the TV remote but this wasn't his first remote to destroy. Overall, I appreciated her effort and care, and I would use her again. I think clarifying the dogs behavior beforehand about a few of these things would help ensure an even smoother experience next time! We feel so fortunate to have found Ashley to take care of Leo, our bernedoodle, 7 months old. Ashely is a true dog person with a long history of compassionate, dedicated, and professional care for dogs, including rehabilitating dogs who've been traumatized. What a big heart she has, and rare and special skills. Our Leo stayed with her for 12 days when we travelled. He had a great time playing with Ashley's other dogs and cared for by Ashley's family--a "team effort," as she puts it. Amazingly Leo came home with better puppy manners. He learned good things at Ashley's house! We are really grateful to Ashley for taking such great care of Leo. He clearly had a wonderful doggie time.
If we could give 10 stars, we would! Ashlee went above and beyond taking care of our dog while we were away on vacation. She had great communication, sent tons of pictures and took exceptional care of both our pup and home. On top of that, she was more than willing to extend her stay due to travel complications. We left “our baby”, a 12 year old Morkie named Tasa for 2 weeks. I expressed a hope to stay in touch, maybe send a photo or two. Oh my, Karen made sure we had our fill of messages and photos.
