“Emily was personable, reliable, and professional in visiting my lovely bulldog. We were in town on business with me working long hours. She visited Lulu twice daily. I highly recommend Emily to all Rover users.”

About: Ive never been able to have a dog of my own, so ive spent my time growing up caring for others. Ive been dog sitting since I was little. My first official job was at a dog hotel, I worked there for a little over 2 years! I also worked for a dog walking / pet sitting company! I’m currently in classes online so I have tons of time to take care of your fur-babies! I am very available for anytime you may need a sitter! I will follow directions provided for each service. I have years of experience and know how to handle any situation given to me to ensure the safety of your pet!

About: I started sitting and walking dogs on Rover six years ago as a way to spend time with pups when I wasn’t in a place to have a dog of my own. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and am now a proud dog mom to a young, friendly Bernadoodle. My pup and I love making new doggy friends and spend lots of time outside in our fenced backyard with our Rover dogs. My yard has plenty of space for games of fetch and tug. I limit my Rover sits to one new dog (or new family) at a time in order to ensure your dog’s safety and give your pup as much of my attention as possible. I’m an avid walker and runner, so if you’re not looking for boarding services, I’d love to get some steps with your furry friend. Send me a message and let’s set up a meet and greet 😊 I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’ll be around your pup nearly all day if boarded at my place. I’m also able to commute throughout the day for drop in visits and walks. I have a fenced in, grassy backyard that’s perfect for playing with a dog. I live in a quiet, very dog-friendly neighborhood great for walks/runs. Your dog will spend their days playing with my pup and is likely to meet other dogs on our walks. If invited to care for your dog(s) at your own home, I will ensure the utmost level of cleanliness and care for your space.

About: I love hanging out with dogs and getting to know them. I love playing and walking with them and I have a lot of experience doing so. I have been dog sitting for about 4 years now for my families friends and I have taken care of elder dogs and puppies and dogs that have needed to take medication. I do have experience with 100+ pound dogs that pull on the leashes. If you do need me to walk a bigger dog, please tell me what the dog will react to so I can be prepared to walk them. If there are two bigger dogs, I will not book until I know if they are reactive to anything. I am also able to take care of other small animals like amphibians, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals. If you do have farm animals, I do require a meet and greet. i can always take care of your dog after 10am throughout the week and anytime on the weekends. I can also take your dog to a local park or path and walk then there! I will typically go to copus, central park, or east race but whatever is closest I will go to. If you have a recommended place for me to go, I will go there. This will typically take an hour and that includes the drive there and back. This service costs 40 dollars. At my own home, I make sure my pets have a very stimulating environment and I try to play with them as much as a can. I will do the same with your friends. I am also available to water plants, take in the mail, and do other house activities if I am doing a drop in visit only. Just let me know ahead or time or leave me a note, and I will make sure to get the chores done.

About: I’ve had dogs for over 10 years, especially small dogs, as well as cats for the last three. I enjoy taking care of all creatures, great and small, and I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking. I do have a standard 9 to 5 jobs, but they are OK with pets in the building. I am easily able to take them outside for potty break. I do have a preteen daughter (10) that will be with me over the weekends, please let me know ahead of time if I need to make arrangements. I have a neighborhood with only one entrance before cars, and is extremely safe. It is the perfect area to go for a walk. There is an open space in the middle of the neighborhood. “Melissa is fantastic. My little anxious dog is new to drop in visits while I'm gone, but Melissa showed her exactly the patience and kindness she needed to get comfortable. Olive treats her like a great friend every time she sees her now! I'd recommend Melissa to anyone without hesitation.”

About: Whether it be dogs, cats, horses, cows, or any animal in-between, I've been raised around animals all of my life. I've had a dog that I've cared for on my own since I was nine years old and couldn't imagine my life without one. With over 15 years of pet care experience, I'm more than comfortable handling your pet from the puppy/kitten stage to their golden senior years, and have experience with medication administration and special care attention. I currently have a three year old Australian Shepherd of my own, and so have no issue handling dogs with a stronger need for mental stimulation and exercise. Whether it be a simple check-in at the home, to a walk around the neighborhood, to taking your dog to the local park or joining me on a run, I'm happy to ensure that we keep your dog to the schedule he/she prefers at your comfort level! If you happen to have a feline friend instead, I have several years experience babysitting for the neighborhood and college friends' cats, and am more than happy to watch over your fur baby while you're away.

About: Because tails wag and whiskers twitch when they’re happy! Hi, I’m Lilian — proud dog mom, cat mom, and lifelong animal enthusiast! For 46 years, I’ve had a house full of paws, fur, and unconditional love. Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime zoomies, or gentle lap cuddles, I make sure every pet feels right at home (even if they’re not in theirs!). Your fur baby will get the VIP (Very Important Pet) treatment every time. Caring for pets is second nature to me. I plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles — just like I’ve done for my own dogs and cats for 46 years. In my home, I provide a safe, cozy, and calm environment where pets can relax, play, and stick to their normal routine. I make sure they get the right mix of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection — plus plenty of snuggles. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully so your pet feels secure and comfortable in their familiar space. I respect your home, keep everything tidy, and give you regular updates with photos so you know your furry friend is happy and cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of family members’ pets since I was about 13. However, in the last 3 years I’ve built up my client list and have 4 consistent customers whose dogs, cats, and parrots I watch for days at a time. I’m trusted with house keys to watch their animals, feed them at specific times, administer needed medications at specific times, take them for walks, and give lots of love and attention. I’m currently working full time (9-5) in downtown Chicago. I live in Uptown, and would love to make some extra cash on the side doing something I really enjoy - walking dogs! My availability M-F is any time after 6. On the weekends I’m very flexible and open to anything. Unfortunately, at this time in my life I will not be providing home boarding, crating, or pet-sitting services at my own personal residence. Sorry for the inconvenience.
