About: Hi!! I have a dog of my own and I’ve been taking care of my neighbors dogs like taking them on walks and letting them outside since i was 10!! I adore dogs and want to give them a chance to get outside Im back from college for the summer, and i have a really flexible schedule the entire summer! And will be available until the end of august!! Im very well trained with dogs from anxious dogs, small dogs, big dogs, energetic dogs! I have a dog myself and he's small but quiet energetic!

About: Growing up with 2 dogs taught me to care and love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I also cared for my aunts two dogs and two cats each summer since 2020 while she travels out of town. Im comfortable with feeding routines, litter boxes, and I love taking dogs on walks and giving fur babies lots of love and attention! I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy incorporating pets care into my routine. I go for lots of walks during the day and enjoy playing and giving lots of attention to pets! I prefer caring for pets in their own homes where they feel most comfortable. I follow the owners routines and instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I am a band director August-May so being a teacher is my main job. Although I love it, I work for Rover as a summer funds supplement. I’ve held temporary jobs that had little to no personal meaning but getting the opportunity to spend time caring for animals seems to give it a bit more of a purpose, which I enjoy. Looking forward to meeting your fur family! My daily routine is very relaxed in the summer because I’m off as a teacher. My family is home most days other than the occasional summer outing. We have 4.5’ fenced in big yard that will allow your dog to run freely. We also live in a quiet neighborhood and have the ability to go on leashed walks whenever we like.

About: I have been surrounded by animals all my life as I grew up on a farm. I have my own dog that lives with me now, and we are best buds. We love walks, hikes, swimming, and going on all kinds of adventures. I love all animals and would love to come see yours! Currently, I am free after 1 on Tuesdays/Thursdays. Mondays, Thursdays and most weekends are open. I have a schedule that changes almost every week, but my commitments are not more than 4 hours. I basically treat every pet like they’re my own—lots of love, attention, and playtime. I follow whatever routine they’re used to so they feel comfortable, whether that’s at my place or yours. Expect plenty of updates (and cute pics!).

“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. About: I’ve taken care of dogs in my home when I was a child and as I’ve continued to get older I care for other families dogs! I love dogs, but I’m in the process of finishing college so I can’t get a dog yet! Dog watching, walking, caring for helps me get to help care for the animals! I love walks and taking dogs with me! I currently work part time and do school full time! I babysit and nanny for multiple families! If you needed a weekend sitter I would be available! I care for animals in a kind and respectful way! About: I’ve been a relied upon neighborhood pet sitter for dogs, cats, chickens, and reptiles for at least 12 years. Ive also fostered “bottle baby” kittens on and off for my local humane society for 3 years. I have learned how to read the body language of and understand the needs of many species of pets, and I understand the importance of listening to human direction while working with pets. I am currently between jobs and about to engage in a short term Americorps VISTA position out of state between June and August. I often pick up local volunteer shifts at the Central MO Humane Society and at Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, however my schedule is very flexible. I am very experienced in working within clients’ homes, whether it has been for pet sitting, house cleaning, or even entering homes to provide social services. Every home and homeowner is unique, and I pride myself in my ability to leave spaces at least as wonderful as I find them.

About: My name is Doug and my wife, Adrienne, and I have an adorable pitbull mix with special needs named Shuri. I have a soft spot for power breeds and misunderstood dogs; though, we love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have had dogs my entire life and have worked with dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I have experience in basic training methods. I have experience working with multiple dogs, administering medication, and doing basic training work. Most special needs can be accommodated. Plus your dog will definitely receive lots of love from myself and the rest of the family. I currently work from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pups. I am available on weekdays and weekends for walks, drop in visits, and overnights I believe dogs require adequate exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation to truly thrive. I look to provide all three to my dog every day and can help provide them to your dog

About: I have had four of my own dogs and I have also taken care of my family pets while they went on vacation or my neighbors when they needed someone to walk or wash their babies when they didn’t have time. I would say iam very experienced even with new pups. I volunteer at the animal shelter taking dogs out for the day to enjoy a bit of freedom. I would like to note that I have a puppy of my own who is extremely dog and cat friendly. So that is something to note for any of my customers who would like to board their animal with me! I have a part time job that I only work once or twice a week so I have a lot of availability for when owners need some extra help. I have 2 fenced in backyards! So plenty of room for either a small or large pup to play. I don’t have any other pets so all my attention will be going towards your pup. I love to go on walks nd nice outtings so your pup will always be in eyesight but also him or herself.

About: Hi! I’m Josselyn, a pre-veterinary student at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a strong passion for animal care and behavior. In high school, I completed a veterinary technician program and successfully passed the certification exam, giving me hands on experience in animal health and clinical care. I also completed an internship at a veterinary hospital, where I assisted with patient exams, treatments, and daily operations. Most recently, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained valuable experience in managing group play, understanding canine behavior, and ensuring each dog’s safety and happiness. My background has given me a well-rounded understanding of animal needs from medical care to playtime and I’m dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable care for every pet I meet. I’m currently working part time and I’m also a full time student. I am mostly available nights or late afternoon. I am also pretty much always available over the weekend. I don’t currently have a dog but my roommate has a very playful pup. He’s a very good listener and extremely calm for a puppy.

About: My experience with pets started at an early age, as there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one dog and cat that I absolutely adored and took care of. From fostering kittens to attending the hounds around town walking program for dogs- I’ve had a pretty wide range! I’ve completed a socializing program with my prior local humane society, pet sat many of my friends and family’s’ fur babies- as well as currently taking care of my three sweet cats! I would love to meet your pets and share some love when you aren’t able to! It brings a lot of joy to my life :) I’m currently a medical professional employed in the Columbia community but have pet sat as a side gig for many years as a way to connect with the community, meet other local pet parents, and love on others pets as if they were my own! My schedule varies and is often open the entire day. I would love to fit some pet sitting/walking opportunities into my life when I’m able! Taking care of your pets in your home is completely up to your preferred method! Every pet parent is different and I will make sure to tailor that experience to the sitting. Details and communication are the most important thing .

About: I have about 3+ years experience with watching / taking care of dogs. I’ve had my fair share of experiences knowing what they can and can’t eat and what questions to ask regarding a dogs diet. I have experience staying over night with dogs (at my place or theirs), going over to their place and taking care of them for a few hours, and of course walking dogs. I’ve had experience taking care of older dogs, about 13+ years old, and younger ones, roughly 4-5 years old. I am currently working on a thesis for graduate school and my schedule is rather flexible. I have time most mornings, afternoons, and evenings to take care or watch over dogs. I am also able to dog sit at the owners place if need be. I live with my parents so I probably wouldn’t be bring the dog home too often, but I’m pretty active and would take dogs on walks throughout the day. At a clients place, I like to chase them around for a bit at times and play around with them occasionally. I have a lot of energy so I have no problem with younger dogs.
