About: Hi!! I have a dog of my own and I’ve been taking care of my neighbors dogs like taking them on walks and letting them outside since i was 10!! I adore dogs and want to give them a chance to get outside Im back from college for the summer, and i have a really flexible schedule the entire summer! And will be available until the end of august!! Im very well trained with dogs from anxious dogs, small dogs, big dogs, energetic dogs! I have a dog myself and he's small but quiet energetic!

About: I’ve been a relied upon neighborhood pet sitter for dogs, cats, chickens, and reptiles for at least 12 years. Ive also fostered “bottle baby” kittens on and off for my local humane society for 3 years. I have learned how to read the body language of and understand the needs of many species of pets, and I understand the importance of listening to human direction while working with pets. I am currently between jobs and about to engage in a short term Americorps VISTA position out of state between June and August. I often pick up local volunteer shifts at the Central MO Humane Society and at Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, however my schedule is very flexible. I am very experienced in working within clients’ homes, whether it has been for pet sitting, house cleaning, or even entering homes to provide social services. Every home and homeowner is unique, and I pride myself in my ability to leave spaces at least as wonderful as I find them.

About: My family has had at least one cat my entire life, even as many as 7 at one time when my mom rescued a kitten litter from a busy street. At a young age I learned to both love animals and to treat them with care. In my dad’s home we had a great big dog raised from a puppy, and as a college student I especially miss being able to take a dog on a nice summer walk. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings most days of the week. My schedule varies from week to week but I am reliably available before 3pm daily. I make time to give my cats enrichment daily and play with them in a run to get those zoomies out. My cats are slightly fat from how I like to treat them, but I do not share human food. I would do the same for any pet sitting situation in addition to following the dietary guidelines if your pet needs to eat less treats. Additionally, I would be taking my own tax of pets and ear scratches if the client is willing.

About: I am a band director August-May so being a teacher is my main job. Although I love it, I work for Rover as a summer funds supplement. I’ve held temporary jobs that had little to no personal meaning but getting the opportunity to spend time caring for animals seems to give it a bit more of a purpose, which I enjoy. Looking forward to meeting your fur family! My daily routine is very relaxed in the summer because I’m off as a teacher. My family is home most days other than the occasional summer outing. We have 4.5’ fenced in big yard that will allow your dog to run freely. We also live in a quiet neighborhood and have the ability to go on leashed walks whenever we like.

About: I have cared for pets for over 7 years now. I adore both dogs and cats and I genuinely enjoy loving on them and spending time with them! I have had multiple pets of my own (including dogs, cats, fish, and a turtle!) so I am familiar with all things feeding, walks, play time, snuggles, and medicine if needed. At your home, I will keep your house secure by locking all doors behind me and always keeping your dog on a leash (unless otherwise specified).

Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. About: My experience with pets started at an early age, as there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one dog and cat that I absolutely adored and took care of. From fostering kittens to attending the hounds around town walking program for dogs- I’ve had a pretty wide range! I’ve completed a socializing program with my prior local humane society, pet sat many of my friends and family’s’ fur babies- as well as currently taking care of my three sweet cats! About: I am a dog lover through and through. I’m a proud “step mom” of my fiancé’s Shiba Inu, Charlie, but at this point I really consider him my dog too. He is an absolute angel and I love to give him lots of walks, take him to the dog park (he is healthy and vaccinated!), give him lots of pets, and the occasional treat! Other than watching Charlie, I have dog sat for a few family friends, and I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter by walking the dogs and cleaning their stalls. I work from home full-time. I have 8 hour days that I’ll be tied to work, but your dog can hang with me nearby when he or she wants the company! In the evenings and free time I am able to walk or play with your dog, and give them the attention they need. I live in a Condo with a small screen in porch. Our dog, Charlie, is super good around other dogs! He is a medium sized shiba inu and is somewhat reserved, but also super patient with overly friendly dogs. I keep a clean house and will ensure a safe environment for your dog’s stay. Charlie is a big runner and will take off if he finds any way out, so I’m super conscious to make sure any dogs who stay with me stay within the home! To go outside, I’ll have to walk your dog around our area on a leash.
