“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. Let me know if I should be aware of any household items your dog tends to eat, chew, or get into. Also let me know if there are any specific activities they especially enjoy - fetch, swimming, etc.

About: I have a senior pet myself. She is a 15 year old shitzu that I trained (If you know about shitzus they can be very sassy/stubborn lol). I have also raised two of my cats from 6 weeks old. Both my dog and cats are very friendly and tolerable. My boyfriend is home most of the day. I am a waitress so I don’t go into work until 4 or later usually I get out at 9-10 but usually earlier. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. My dog is walked at least 2x a day not including potty breaks.

I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. About: I have about 3+ years experience with watching / taking care of dogs. I’ve had my fair share of experiences knowing what they can and can’t eat and what questions to ask regarding a dogs diet. I have experience staying over night with dogs (at my place or theirs), going over to their place and taking care of them for a few hours, and of course walking dogs. “Weiling took excellent care of Lisa and Maggie. She was always very attentive to their needs and made sure they were comfortable and happy throughout their stay. She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me great peace of mind, and she absolutely spoiled them with love and attention. Communication was open, consistent, and easy from start to finish. She was also very flexible with scheduling, which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to leave Lisa and Maggie with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”
“Dani and Skye were wonderful dog sitters for our beagle, Jenny. We left Jenny with them for a week and they took great care of her. Dani texted us pictures and kept us updated on how Jenny was doing while staying with them. Dani and Skye both love animals and Jenny enjoyed being around their own dog and cat. “Lisa is the BEST! We left our 7 month old chocolate lab puppy with her for the first time while we went on vacation. He had a great time! Lisa is the sweetest and had no issues with watching an energetic, crazy puppy. She sent lots of updates and photos, and was always available if I needed her. I would 100% recommend her. “Donna was very helpful with my last minute request. She had time to invite me over so Kushito can meet her pack before the stay. She kept me updated with videos and pictures of him! She has an amazing outdoor space. He was very happy when I picked him up and I could tell he had a lot of fun during his stay!”
