About: My entire life I have always had a love and passion for animals. I grew up caring for a variety of different animals of all ages and species and wholeheartedly believe that they are not just a pet, but a member of your family. In addition, I am also an employee at the San Diego Humane Society so I consider my background and knowledge of animals to be extensive. I am currently the mom to a 4 year old Chow Chow named October, a 1 year old Saint Bernard named Valentine, and a 8 year old mastiff named November 💘 If you have a question concerning availability just ask and I will work with you to make sure both yours and your pets needs are being accommodated for! My pets are my children so I ensure they never go a day without getting spoiled with lots of love and attention. Due to my history with animals I am very well versed in day to day caretaking tasks such as feeding, walking, bathing, administering oral medication, etc.

“Eliza has had two visits with my boys, Dex and Moe, and already I am impressed. She is highly- competent, intelligent, pays attention to detail, and is very experienced with caring for animals. Most importantly, however, is how much my pups already adore her and how comfortable I feel when she is in my home and my presence. Both my boys are rescues, however, Dex in his first year of life was subjected to extreme abuse and neglect. It generally takes him a very long time to trust new people inside the home ( in Rover’s case that means many meet and greets with me present ) and outside the home on walks significant caution is needed at all times because he is very reactive to numerous things. I adopted Dex in 2018 and I have * never seen him warm up to any new caregiver ( or person in general) as quickly as he has to Eliza. Moe loves everybody. It is also very apparent that Eliza is very attentive when I discuss details about my boys and detailed special instructions even though I have not yet written them down, which I will. I feel at ease and fully trust that Eliza takes these instructions very seriously and understands that, in the case of Dex especially, instructions about the precautions necessary when walking him outside cannot be deviated from- he truly is a very special- emotional- needs dog ( he’s 8 ) and always will be. I am fully confident that whether I need to be away because of a health emergency or am simply on vacation that my dogs are in the best of hands under her care. I would highly recommend Eliza to anyone.”

I recently lost my childhood frenchie and have been having a hard time coping, but getting to spend time around dogs and cats makes me feel much better. I would take amazing care of your furry friend and make sure they are safe and happy :) I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I am not currently working any other job, as I am applying to PA school, so I have plenty of time on my hands! I treat all pets like they are my own. In my house, we treat our pets the way we treat each other, with love and respect. That being said, we do hold a standard for them in terms of potty training and behavior. We constantly take our dogs for walks to make sure they go potty when they need to and get some outside/exercise time!
