“Eliza has had two visits with my boys, Dex and Moe, and already I am impressed. She is highly- competent, intelligent, pays attention to detail, and is very experienced with caring for animals. Most importantly, however, is how much my pups already adore her and how comfortable I feel when she is in my home and my presence. Both my boys are rescues, however, Dex in his first year of life was subjected to extreme abuse and neglect. It generally takes him a very long time to trust new people inside the home ( in Rover’s case that means many meet and greets with me present ) and outside the home on walks significant caution is needed at all times because he is very reactive to numerous things. I adopted Dex in 2018 and I have * never seen him warm up to any new caregiver ( or person in general) as quickly as he has to Eliza. Moe loves everybody. It is also very apparent that Eliza is very attentive when I discuss details about my boys and detailed special instructions even though I have not yet written them down, which I will. I feel at ease and fully trust that Eliza takes these instructions very seriously and understands that, in the case of Dex especially, instructions about the precautions necessary when walking him outside cannot be deviated from- he truly is a very special- emotional- needs dog ( he’s 8 ) and always will be. I am fully confident that whether I need to be away because of a health emergency or am simply on vacation that my dogs are in the best of hands under her care. I would highly recommend Eliza to anyone.”

“Odalis is very caring and professional and kept me informed. Strongly recommend her.”

“Susana did a fantastic job during her drop-in visit. She kept us well informed, sending pictures and videos of our dogs, as well as confirming that all the doors were securely locked. We’re extremely happy with her visit and would absolutely book with her again in the future.”

“Gabby was very kind and took care of my babies while we were away. She was quick to answer any questions and sent updates as to how my cats were doing. I would definitely suggest booking with her!”

About: ***Moving to Weslaco June 23rd. Please message me for bookings after that date for updated location. I’ve been around dogs ever since I can remember, and have raised many from birth throughout their life. I have also trained several dogs using positive reinforcement techniques. I am very passionate about pet care and will treat your dog like I treat my own, as part of my family. Rover is my work! My partner works from home so my full attention is with the dogs 24/7. Any time you need it, I’m available. We have a completely dog safe environment with a fenced courtyard and separately fenced pool area which is fully available to the dogs if desired. Our lab is a swimmer, mild mannered, and friendly. She enjoys the company of other dogs. We do not have any crates, but can have our dog separated in her room if needed.

About: I'm a furmom to a pittie, a husky mix and a really chonky cat. I've been a petsitter for several friends and have volunteered as a foster for numerous rescues. I'm experienced in bottlefeeding newborn puppies and kittens as well as house training younger pets. I'm a salaried employee for the RGV Vipers and set my own work schedule, so I'm able to be flexible with my working hours to accommodate pets. I have a spare bedroom where I can host bottle babies when applicable. The bedroom is within earshot of my bedroom and will provide them with a safe space to stay.

About: I am a dog mom my self and I would love to be there for those in need of help with their furry pets! I love the companionship, as I have been around animals my whole childhood as well. I am also an open book! If it were vice versa I’d want to know a little about the person as well, it’s understandable. My part-time work is usually three to four days a week. I therefore have plenty of free time to take care of many furry friends. When I get home from work, my girlies and I love going for walks around the city to give her the necessary daily dose of exercise. After, they love to play fetch with real sticks, which is hilarious.

About: I currently have 1 dog (Dexter) and 2 cats (Smokey and Misty). I trained Dexter since he was a puppy, along with my family’s dogs! I have had experience with all kinds of pets since I was a kid, having hamsters, crabs, and ferrets too! I love animals and enjoy their company, as they make my day and keep me awake :) I currently am a student, but for the summer I will have a flexible schedule to have time to care for pets and provide services :) In my home, I have my pets on schedules (mainly Dexter since dogs require more maintenance). Every morning I take him to the backyard to “handle his business” and then when he is done, take him for a walk outside around the neighborhood. When we come back inside, I feed him and then the rest of the day is just playing with him and taking him out for potty breaks. His second meal is at the end of the day right before bed. My cats follow the same food schedule

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 6. Friends, neighbors, and family trust me to walk, feed, and love their pets like my own. I’m comfortable giving medications, handling energetic pups, and providing extra care for senior dogs!! 😊 I currently work part-time, which gives me lots of flexibility to care for your pets! I can stop by to feed or stay and play a while! I regularly care for my friends’ two big dogs and two little pups when they’re away, so I’m used to managing multiple dogs with different needs and energy levels. I always follow the pet’s routine closely, provide lots of love and attention, and ensure they feel safe, happy, and cared for in your absence😊

“Super friendly and understanding! Used to big dogs and is very accommodating!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all kind since I was 8. I have many experiences where I will nurse them back to health or regular dog walking and care for them. I am currently free of no job to be giving all your fur babies the attention they need and want! I will be with them almost all the time making sure their needs are met. I do live in an apartment and can take them out on walks on the lovely hill I live on. And they can be crated if needed by the owner.

About: Welcome! My name is Jessica and I was born and raised in the RGV. I'm a reliable, friendly, and patient pet lover with over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I currently work at a veterinary clinic in the evening, so I'm well-versed in pet behavior, health signs to watch for, and how to handle pets in a calm, safe, and loving way. Being on time and dependable is a top priority for me, and you can count on clear and prompt communication throughout every booking. Whether your pet needs a gentle walk, playtime, or just some extra attention while you're away, I’ll treat them like family—because they are! I'm experienced and comfortable working with pets who have special needs, including those who require daily medication, mobility assistance, or extra patience and care. Whether it's administering oral or topical meds, managing feeding schedules, or creating a calm environment for anxious pets, I'm here to provide reliable and loving support. Your pet’s health, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority! You can rest easy knowing your pet is in trustworthy and experienced hands. I work remotely from home during the day and part-time at a pet clinic in the evenings. This flexible schedule allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and real-time updates upon request. Working from home means I can be fully present and attentive to your pet’s needs while you're away, providing peace of mind and consistent care. When dog sitting, I go above and beyond to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I stick closely to your pet’s routine—whether that’s mealtime, walks, playtime, or medication—because consistency is key to keeping them comfortable while you're away. I’m attentive to their body language, energy levels, and behavior, always ready to adjust care to meet their individual needs. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or shy and reserved, I provide personalized care, regular updates, and plenty of affection. Your dog will be in caring, capable hands from the moment you leave to the moment you return. For Puppies: Caring for puppies requires patience, consistency, and lots of love—and that’s exactly what I provide. I stick to your pup’s training routines, offer plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and gentle guidance to reinforce good behavior. I understand that puppies are still learning the world around them, so I create a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. Whether it’s crate training, socialization, or simply burning off puppy energy, your little one will be in attentive and encouraging hands every step of the way. For Senior Dogs: Senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I take extra care to ensure they’re comfortable, relaxed, and cared for with the gentleness they deserve. Whether your senior pup needs help getting around, has a specific medication schedule, or simply enjoys a slower pace, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I’m mindful of signs of discomfort and make sure they have plenty of time for rest, cuddles, and stress-free companionship while you’re away. For Special Needs Dogs: I have experience working with dogs who require specialized care, and I’m confident and compassionate in managing their unique needs. From administering medication to handling mobility challenges or anxiety triggers, I create a calm, supportive environment tailored to your dog’s condition. I stay alert to changes in behavior or health and always communicate openly with you to ensure your dog’s safety and comfort. Your pet will receive focused, loving care that respects their individual needs and routines.

18. Marissa M.
“Marissa goes far and beyond as pet sitter. She is caring, attentive and most importantly she understands dogs exceptionally. She took care of my black lab Atia multiple times in the past, when I had to travel outside of the United States. She was a host mom literally and can't thank her enough. I instantly felt that Atia tuned with Marissa from the very beginning, and I knew that she was in the best hands possible, any time I had to leave her. We dog moms know that they are family and it's sometimes delicate to leave them with other people, but I knew Marissa will take care of my Atia, and she did!”
