I can’t say enough wonderful things about Samantha and the care she provided for my dogs while I was away for work. She walked them every single day, always on time, and treated them with so much love and patience. My dogs absolutely adore her — I could tell they felt comfortable, happy, and well-exercised after every walk. Samantha kept me updated with messages, pictures, and little notes that gave me complete peace of mind, which is priceless when you’re far from home. She is responsible, trustworthy, caring, and truly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants someone reliable and genuinely passionate about animals. Samantha is amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care she provided.

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life. When I was younger, I had many dogs and loved to cuddle and play with them. I have a big backyard for them to play in, and maybe they can hop in the pool if their parents allow it! I can also take them to the park, where we’ll have a fun time together. Hello my name is Judith Peña. I currently work part time usually towards the end of the week. My schedule is I’m pretty much free the whole week so I’m mostly at home. With school ending I only have one class in the morning till 9:30 and then I’m free the rest of the day. My yard is fenced in, so if you don't feel comfortable with your pet being off the leash outside, that's completely fine. We can go for a little stroll around my community. On top of my yard being gated, my community is also gated, so you can say there is extra protection.

About: Ive cared for many dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors. My family has a business based on dog care and training, a business ive fairly been involved in since i was 15. Comfortable in dealing with pets of all breeds and sizes. I am currently a part-time student with a flexible work schedule. About: I have owned dogs my whole life because I love their companionship. I love their entertaining nature and different personalities. I enjoy playing, training, walking, entertaining, talking, and singing with dogs. I just find them fascinating and amusing to watch and be in their company. I have owned plenty dogs. I have owned chichuahas, schnauzers, dobermans, pit bulls, bulldogs I dont have a preference. If I feel a connection I go with it. Every dog has a purpose and they are wonderful little gifts that one should not take for granted. They can be heroes when you least expect it and matter more than people care to think. I can promise to treat your dog like one of my own and spoil them like they deserve. Pet care fits right in my life because I have always owned or cared for a fur baby almost all my life. It just fits in because it is what I have been doing since I was a kid. I work from home so I am always with the babies. I make sure to stay attentive and keep the doggies entertained and busy. I play and talk to them constantly and treat them as little toddlers that dont listen and cant stay still.

About: I have had multiple pets since I was about 10 years old! I used to train and ride ponies and horses, but now I just focus on my dog, Miel. I took her in as a puppy and trained her during COVID. I have also previously taken care of weeks old puppies that required to be bottle fed multiple times a day and throughout the night. I am currently working full time and volunteering at a clinic after work (M/T/TH). I am available after work on Wednesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. I am also available during lunch (flexible hours) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am also available for holidays! To ensure safety I approach pets slowly and give them a chance to come up to me first. I am also aware that some pets can have food restrictions so I would ask before providing or exposing them to any treats, toys, other personal items.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
