About: I've been a dog owner since I was 8 years old. We used to have two German shepherds a father & son. Vasco the father was a K9 imported from Netherlands very well trained and would obey all types of rules like sit, stay, come, quiet, etc. An interesting fact was that all his commands were in Dutch language. Yoko was our other dog we never really trained him like his father, but he was very well loved and taken care of he recently died back in 2022. I have an autistic brother who really loved both of them we haven't had a pet of our own since then, so we decided to start sitting dogs as I work most of the time from home and it helps my brother out greatly! We can assure you that your dog will be well taken care of with us! We can work with having pets inside or outside our property we just need owners to tell us where they keep them. Most of the time we have them inside as we do have plenty of space at our house. I work from home most of the time as well if I'm not home which is rare, I do have someone who will be available to take care of your pets all the time rest assured they'll be doing great! We do offer pick up and drop off before/after boarding please message me for more information! We care for your furry friends as you indicate us. What you tell us is what we will do for them. Let me know their schedule, potty breaks. how many times they eat per day.
“Catherine is definitely a five star pet sitter! She takes good notes, is meticulous, and very punctual. My two little dogs loved her! She also gave very good feedback and updates on how well my little guys were doing and sent lots of pictures. Overall I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in her care and enjoyed my trip without a worry. I would 100% recommend Catherine.”

About: I have over 11 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, with all of my personal experience being with bully breeds. I currently have three dogs of my own two English Bulldogs and one Pit Bull whom I’ve raised since they were puppies. One is now 11 years old, so I’m very familiar with senior care and adjusting routines as dogs age. All of my dogs require daily medications, regular ear cleanings, and ongoing skin care due to sensitivities, so I’m very comfortable administering oral medications, maintaining hygiene routines, and monitoring for skin or ear flare ups. I understand how important consistency and gentle handling are, especially for dogs with allergies, sensitive skin, or chronic needs. I’m experienced with breed specific concerns common to bully breeds, including heat sensitivity, breathing awareness, and the need for calm, structured care. I treat every dog like family and follow care instructions closely to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is already part of my daily routine, as I care for my own three dogs every day. I build my schedule around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and care routines, which allows me to be consistent, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m comfortable with morning, midday, and evening visits and understand the importance of sticking to established routines. I prioritize safety, calm environments, and close supervision at all times. I have extensive experience caring for bully breeds and understand their specific needs, including heat sensitivity, skin and ear care, and proper handling. I carefully follow all owner instructions, administer medications as directed, and maintain clean, safe spaces. I monitor behavior, health, and comfort closely and provide regular updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
