I have experience dog sitting by taking care of my tio’s dogs whenever they leave town. During that time, I make sure the dogs are fed, have fresh water, and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve also grown up with two dogs of my own, which taught me responsibility and how to handle different needs and personalities. Because of this, I’m comfortable with daily care routines, playing with dogs, and making sure they stay safe and happy.

I take care of pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific routines. I also make sure pets have fresh water, clean up after them, and give them plenty of attention. While staying in the home I’ll provide updates so owners know their pets are safe and happy.

We love having James take care of our MIA and Chico. It is nice to know when we are out of town that our dogs are well taken care of. He is kind, responsible, and most importantly he plays with our dogs when he comes by. He makes sure they are fed, have fresh water and they get lots of play time.
James has been helping me with my Pomeranian, Beary, since he was just a puppy. He has honestly been my #1 choice when it comes down to watching Beary. They have an amazing bond and anytime Beary sees James, he starts getting super excited, which is comforting to know that he’s getting taken care of! James is just one of those people who truly 'gets' animals. He’s patient, super reliable, and I never have to worry for a second when Beary is with him. If you’re looking for someone who will actually love on your pup and treat them like family, James is definitely your guy!

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work part-time and take online classes at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My flexible class schedule allows me to be available throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, and extended stays. Since my coursework is online, I can plan study time around pet care and even stay with pets to keep them company. I’m able to provide consistent attention, follow routines, and make sure pets are cared for while balancing my work and school responsibilities.
