About: I grew up in a house with dogs. We always had at least two and sometimes three dogs. We bred corgis and standard poodles and I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I also own three cats and take care of an outdoor feral. I'm comfortable medicating dogs, cats, and even reptiles. (I can feed reptiles as well, I'm not worried about bugs :) I currently work from home so I'm free most afternoons and evenings and would love to use some of the spare time I have to take care of dogs and cats. I have experience caring for pets in their home and would be happy to let your dog out in the backyard for playtime or take them on a walk around the block. If you need them crated after, I can do that too.

About: I am very used to large dogs since I have two at home. I know how to clean animals ears and clip nails. I also know how to administer oral medication. Im currently going to college to become a veterinarian so im looking for a little gig where i can take care of animals. I also have a part time job but still have plenty of free time to take care of some adorable caring animals. I sadly can not bring pets into my home but will gladly take care of them at yours. About: I grew up with a Doberman and a cat. Now, I take care of friends’ dogs, when I’m not running an office. Currently, my mom puppy trains guide dogs so I’m learning even more about dog training, these days. For house sitting, my availability is open this summer. For dog walking I can do that during my lunch, if you’re within 5-10 minutes of Patchogue. I can walk, run, and/or play with your dog. I’m a runner and hiker. I would ensure that I carry out your routines and can crate the dog if necessary.

About: I’ve been animal lover for as long as I can remember. From reptiles to puppies to birds I treat every animal with love and respect. Due to never having an ideal living situation to be caring pets, I’ve never had a pet of my own. However, I’ve always been surrounded by my friends, families, coworkers and neighbors pets. “Wow. We hired Christina to care for our 135lb Bernese Mountain Dog, Otis, while we vacationed in Westhampton for a week. And what a godsend to have found her! Amazing with Otis, incredibly flexible in terms of hours and availability, and just such a wonderful, genuinely caring sitter and person. Otis is just a year old, never been apart from us, and so it was critical that he feel comfortable and be well cared for while we took time away for daily lunches and dinners. Each day, when Christina arrived, Otis went nuts. It was just so clear how much he liked her and looked forward to his time with her. And, of course, she sent regular updates, including photos, so we were always in the loop and reassured about how he was doing. Our whole family, including both our kids, were sad for the vacation to end, in part because it meant not seeing Christina again! Really can't believe how fortunate we were to have connected with and hired her on Rover and, if we ever make our way back to Westhampton and need care for Otis, we'll definitely be hitting her up. About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!
