“Lisa and Michael are cream of the crop pet sitters. They are super loving to our whole family of pets. They always keep us informed of the visit by including great fun pics. We highly recommend them!!!”

About: I have had a dog at home all my life and have been volunteering at animal shelters for the past 4 years where I would walk dogs and socialize cats and dogs. I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. I can’t offer my home for boarding but I can stay over at your house and am responsible and have lived alone and can clean do laundry and other tasks to keep the home clean for when you return. I can also come over and bring your dog out for walks.
About: I have been around animals and pets my whole life. I love learning the best way to treat and handle my furry companions. My number one goal is keeping my furry companions safe, healthy and happy. My day starts and ends with caring for them in the best way possible. I make sure pets are being fed the best food possible and making sure they are comfortable in our home. I make sure that when I am caring for a pet, that they are comfortable with my presence and I never want to overwhelm them in their own environment or in my own. I like to stay in communication with pet owners and want others pets/babies to be as comfortable as they can within my home and presence
“I’m so grateful to Stephanie for helping us out on such short notice and am very happy with the level of service I received. I felt like I was in very good hands. I will definitely be calling her again! Thank you!”

About: I’ve been a pet mom my whole life! Guinea pigs, cats, and dogs! I have a true love for animals, they are my kids! I have a dog and 4 cats of my own. I am excited to provide families with a responsible and animal friendly person to care for their loved ones while they are away. I understand how important good animal care is to loving pet owners. I am patient, understanding, and loving. I believe animals deserve our utmost respect and love. I’m happy to provide that while you are away or at work.
“Jen and Cameron are just amazing. They take care of our 13 year old pupper and our 14 year old bunnies with such love and kindness. They treat our girls like their own. Thank you, Jen and Cameron, for always going above and beyond. ❤️”

“Alicia you’ve made my heart happy with the care you gave to Oliver while we were away. Thank you for all the updates and the above and beyond you did for us. We truly appreciate it. We definitely will be a repeat client”

About: I grew up in a house with dogs. We always had at least two and sometimes three dogs. We bred corgis and standard poodles and I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I also own three cats and take care of an outdoor feral. I'm comfortable medicating dogs, cats, and even reptiles. (I can feed reptiles as well, I'm not worried about bugs :) I currently work from home so I'm free most afternoons and evenings and would love to use some of the spare time I have to take care of dogs and cats. I have experience caring for pets in their home and would be happy to let your dog out in the backyard for playtime or take them on a walk around the block. If you need them crated after, I can do that too.

About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. I work full time now but I make my own schedule! I'll be able to be reliable and work around the needs of anyone's babies! In my clients home I always have respect and take care of not only the pets but the home and property when I'm there always.
“This was my first time using Rover, and Amber made it a fantastic experience. She was reliable and communicative. I was nervous leaving Teddy and MoMo for the first time, but Amber put all my worries at ease. She followed all my instructions perfectly (even I changed most my instructions on the day of visit 🥲) The daily pictures were a lifesaver, and my home was left perfectly tidy. Highly recommend!"”

About: Being around animals and making them feel happy is the best feeling to have. I have 2 dogs and cat, and they always manage to make my day. I have plenty of great places to adventure with your companion while you are busy! I have school online which makes me completely free! I am studying and practicing things that make me happy with my free time, (which there is plenty of) So, your dog/ cat will fit into my schedule perfectly! I live very close to many dog-friendly parks, and enjoy hiking, especially with a four-legged companion. I will take any opportunity to go on a long walk! It would be nice to take a dog with me sometime. I also bake, and have made dog treats for my Boston Terrier at home who might love peanut butter more than me... I'd love to share my hobbies with your pets!
“Christine is absolutely incredible! My dogs adore having her stop in while I’m working long days. She plays with them until they’re tired, makes sure they go to the bathroom & get some fresh water plus a treat! Cannot possibly recommend her enough.”

About: I love making food and treats for them. I enjoy interacting with all pets to see their personalities. I love to see them happy and playful. I'm currently working part-time on an open schedule, but I have plenty of time to tend to the pets and play with them. Both duties will not overlap. I have a fenced in yard for them to play around in and a little pool filled with balls and there's toys to play with
“Dyese was great with our cat, Earl. She did daily home visits while we were away, which included feeding him, changing his litter, and keeping him company. Dyese gave us photo updates and detailed summary of her visit each time. It was great knowing he was in good hands.”

I’ve never left my cats with a pet sitter before. To be honest, both of them are a bit of a scaredy-cat. Lol. Jennifer came in every morning and evening, and took care of them wonderfully. Granted one of them never showed her face, lol. But the other one was very bad at hiding. Lol. Jennifer was very professional. Such a great personality too. She did everything I asked of her and went above and beyond too. Would definitely recommend her. She was amazing. Thank you, Jennifer for all you did.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
