“Julie was amazing! It was my first time booking through Rover.com so I was very hesitant. But I was in a bind. I had to go away on vacation to NC at the end of October. She came over to my home a day before the scheduled drop in visit so she could meet my three dogs. She made sure my dogs were comfortable with her prior to the first visit. At first my Dalmatian Maggie was being a little protective of her family but by the end of that meet and greet Maggie was already more comfortable with her. My other two dogs were also adjusting but by the end of the meet & greet they were more at ease. Julie kept me up to date with photos and texts during my vacation. About: I have had a dog at home all my life and have been volunteering at animal shelters for the past 4 years where I would walk dogs and socialize cats and dogs. I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. I can’t offer my home for boarding but I can stay over at your house and am responsible and have lived alone and can clean do laundry and other tasks to keep the home clean for when you return. I can also come over and bring your dog out for walks.

My experience administering medication I administer medication for my dog on a daily basis, as well as friend/family's dogs whenever needed. I’ve given insulin shots, vaccines, oral medication, as well as topical medication. I spend most of my time taking care of animals throughout the day as it is my passion, not to mention I have a decent amount of pets myself. I do also take care of my elderly grandmother so I split my time up accordingly. The pets in my home all get treated equally and as one of my own and they always feel right at home! I wake up and the first thing I do is let the dogs out for their morning bathroom break. They all typically go out into my fenced in yard together as one big group. I prepare their breakfasts while they're all outside and then feed them once they are let back into the house. They spend the day with me around the house where they play with each other and where I play games with them. They go on 2-3 walks per day (if the owners allow me to take them for walks) and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. They're fed their dinner between 6pm and 7pm, get their last potty break at about 9pm and then we are done for the day!
About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. I work full time now but I make my own schedule! I'll be able to be reliable and work around the needs of anyone's babies!
