I went to Eastern Suffolk BOCES for my senior year and took the animal science program there, where I gained a lot more experience and knowledge in looking after cats and dogs, as well as other animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, and more. I would make sure the environment your pet is staying in is safe! clean up any possible hazards, any messes, clean up after they eat. I will also make sure they are staying active by playing or walking and keeping a close eye on them when they are outside or keep them on a leash!
