He took the time to introduce Bleau to his dog slowly and properly, which made us feel really comfortable right away. Throughout her stay, he sent daily videos and updates, so we always knew she was doing well. We even accidentally left her bowls behind, and when we went back to pick them up, Bleau was so excited to see him again — which says everything about how well she was treated. I had brought Olga to a kennel (which was very clean/good/clear dogs were well taken care of as much as possible) but I just couldn’t bring myself to not have Olga be in a place where she could interact with people/have a yard to run around. Not only did Lenny do a great job watching my little Olga, she also kept me updated with detailed texts and photos throughout Olga’s stay. This eased my mind greatly and also showed me that Lenny truly cared about Olga’s wellbeing. Lenny also gave me a good overview of Olga’s visit when I picked her up. She made me feel good about Olga and together we discussed future visits and ways to optimize further Olga’s future visits/development in general. I’ve given insulin shots, vaccines, oral medication, as well as topical medication. I spend most of my time taking care of animals throughout the day as it is my passion, not to mention I have a decent amount of pets myself. I do also take care of my elderly grandmother so I split my time up accordingly. The pets in my home all get treated equally and as one of my own and they always feel right at home! I wake up and the first thing I do is let the dogs out for their morning bathroom break. They all typically go out into my fenced in yard together as one big group. I prepare their breakfasts while they're all outside and then feed them once they are let back into the house. They spend the day with me around the house where they play with each other and where I play games with them. They go on 2-3 walks per day (if the owners allow me to take them for walks) and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. They're fed their dinner between 6pm and 7pm, get their last potty break at about 9pm and then we are done for the day!

I have a beautiful toy poodle and I recently dropped her off at a kennel for "daycare" and when I went to pick her up, she had a fracture that still to this day they cannot explain hoe it happened. Ever since that traumatized experience ive been very apprehensive about leaving my puppy with anyone. Emily and her fiancé was very understanding and supportive of all of my concerns. Emily suggested a meet and greet which went so well. She was able to reassure that my puppy was in good hands. We'd have to take off some hours from work as the construction was done on our house. I hopped onto Rover and quickly found Ashley. The rates were affordable and her profile really stood out as someone who cares about pets. We consider our dog, Amber, one of our children. Ashley was amazing with pick up and drop off. Always on time which was great because we wanted Amber to be picked up before the workers got there. When we got home from work Ashley would drop her off. When we created our private doggie suite, I was thinking of all the things I would want our dogs to have if we were away. Our checklist of amenities include: - private couch/futon for lounging - clean fresh water bowls 24/7 - several breaks for play time outside - 24 hour recorded camera monitoring in - secured locked doors -AC and/or heat & fans with temp alerts - TV and ALEXA/echo music - fenced secure yard - easily cleaned floors **rates are for 24 hour periods. After 24 hours, it’s $10 an hour. - puppies and tiny dogs may stay in smaller secure area or my be bought in our home. -LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION ❤️ When taking care of dogs, it's important to provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities I can do with the dogs I watch: Walking is a great way to provide dogs with exercise and mental stimulation. I Choose different routes and places to walk, such as a local park, beach, or hiking trail. Most dogs love playing fetch. I can take your dog or dogs with your permission to a fenced dog's park and play a game of fetch with a ball or frisbee. Dogs love to play with toys, such as squeaky toys or tug ropes.

Evenings are usually when we wind down together, which I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those things that adds structure to my day without feeling like a chore, more like a grounding ritual than a responsibility. I care for pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine, with consistency, attention, and a lot of patience. In my own home, that means sticking to a routine they can rely on: regular feeding times, daily walks or play sessions, and making sure their space is clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to their moods and energy levels because animals communicate a lot through behavior, and catching when something feels off early makes a big difference. When it comes to caring for a client's pet, I make it a priority to understand their specific needs before I ever step through the door. Every pet is different, different diets, different temperaments, different routines, and I take detailed notes on all of it. I follow the owner's instructions closely, keep their environment familiar and stress-free, and always communicate updates so the owner feels confident and informed while they're away. I treat their home with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, and I treat their pet like my own.

About: I’ve worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 32 yrs, raised/trained more than 15 puppies to be service dogs & have been doing Animal Assisted Therapy since 1993. I have recently retired, set up my house to be dog friendly and now I have plenty of time to spend with my dogs and your pups! My home is clean and dog friendly with a fenced in backyard. All dogs are allowed on the couch (if you allow that) and my lap (small dogs plz). There are plenty of toys and dog beds for resting:) I also have many baby gates if a dog wants alone time.
