“Thanks for coming early! Also, for watching Ana. She’s is getting older.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

“Jessica has been wonderful with Eloise! She has helped me last minute, super responsible and respectful and Elise loves her. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've owned and taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog lover and I have been able to provide assistance and care for many of my friends, family and neighbors throughout my life. I am able to provide a safe, stable and healthy environment for pet care that would allow both you and your furry loved ones comfort and security. I work a part-time job with flexible hours, allowing me to meet pet care needs on time. I am a very organized and reliable person as long as we schedule! Based on what your specific pet's needs are, I will create a comfortable, consistent schedule that will meet necessary medical needs, exercise, food times, potty breaks, and comfort your furry friend will need during their care.

About: Do you have a high drive dog who needs specialized care or a busy, unconventional work schedule? I’m your gal! I am work from home data analyst with a passion for animals, dog training, and exercise. I am well versed in reactivity, training, basic obedience, and dog body language. My work schedule allows me to be at your house anytime between 7am and midnight. Reach out for information about extended daytime stays (no overnights)! I provide standard services like walking and drop ins in addition to dog running sessions and obedience training sessions with high-drive dogs or working breeds who need daily training reinforcement. I am able to run with your dog up to two miles and follow your training program to ensure your dog gets constant training reinforcement. Additionally, I have experience with fish and reptiles and can perform daily maintenance on tanks (more info below). I have been working with animals since I was young, often caring for family member’s dogs and volunteering at shelters. But the major catalyst in my dog ownership journey was adopting my reactive staffy mix, Stan. His severe reactivity gave me a whole new perspective on dog leadership. Through years of research and consulting a trained professional, I became incredibly knowledgable about specialty dog care and training. This journey has made me realize that there is a gap in day to day care for pups who require more than a walk and play session or for those whose work schedules prevent them from giving their dog the time and energy they need. I struggle to find qualified care for my dog because of his extremely special lifestyle, and I want to be that resource for others who may need some help with their not-so-typical pup. While I cannot care for human reactive/aggressive dogs, I am experienced in how to care for dogs with special behavioral requirements, special jobs, and health concerns. I can easily lift up to 75-90lbs so large dogs with mobility issues are no problem for me! My extensive knowledge of dog body language, obedience, training methods and safety around other animals will give you peace of mind that your dog is in great hands while you’re traveling or working and you can trust that the methods used will always align with the standard of care that you give your pup. DISCLAIMER: I want to clarify that I use balanced methods with my dog due to the severity of his reactivity. I will only use PURE POSITIVE methods with client dogs unless you have worked with a balanced trainer *PRIOR TO* booking with me. I am able to use tools if your dog has been trained with them, but I cannot train your dog how to use them for the first time. If you would like more information on balanced training, I can redirect you to my local dog trainer who has helped me rehab my dog (she’s fantastic). Your dog will be trained, walked, or run with the tools and methods you prefer—I am extremely well versed in how to use all tools, positive and balanced. Fish and reptile care: I am able to perform daily water changes, water conditioning, API testing daily (with pictures provided), feeding (including live food), and basic tank maintenance for freshwater fish in tanks and ponds up to 500 gallons. I am able to care for reptiles including feeding and tank maintenance—no venomous snakes or creepy crawlers please, frozen food only, I’m squeamish with bugs! I currently work full time from home and have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available for standard visits of up to one hour per animal and extended visits up to six hours for specialty care. Standard 30 minute visit: I will feed them, take them outside to potty, administer any meds, give them some cuddles, and make sure they get at least 15 minutes of play. If you have a working breed, I can also conduct training sessions and will extend play time based on your pet’s required needs (additional fee applies for visits longer than 30 minutes). For bookings longer than 30 minutes with dogs that are comfortable around me, I can offer baths and nail trimmings. Extended stays (longer than 2 hours): For working breeds who have specialized care, I can be there for up to 6 hours. During an extended stay, I can take the dog outside for 30 minutes to an hour of play, conduct a 30 minute training session, do supervised decompression time, and make sure that your dog gets all the attention and cuddles in the world. Any other special needs will be discussed during meet and greets. I can offer nail trimming and baths for dogs who are comfortable with me during extended visits at no extra charge. If you would like this option, please select “House Sitting” instead of drop in. Drop ins are only available for an hour or less. If hired for walks, our walks will be 30 minutes and/or one mile. I can also run/jog up to 2 miles for working breeds. If we are running, I will require that your dog does not pull hard on leash and has minimal animal reactivity.

“Lana was amazing with my dog Nala! Nala took to her right away. Lana is prompt when answering texts and great at communicating. She always takes lots of pictures and leaves a report card. Thank you for taking great care of Nala!”

“Daisy always enjoys her walk with Alana...I'm so glad I found her....I love the pics Alana takes...She's very professional...I highly recommend Alana...”

“ElizaE was excellent! My dog has always tended to bark intensely at people she doesn’t know and then hide if the person doesn’t leave. ElizaE took the time to help our dog Jenna get to know her and trust her. She took her on familiar routes for her walks and let her spend some time in one of her favorite places- our back yard. It was very reassuring to get the messages and pictures and know that Jenna was having a good experience while we were gone. I highly recommend ElizaE.”

“Reliable walker.”

“Lauren was very good with my dog Eloise! She was great with communication and very professional and kind. I will definitely use her services again!! Highly recommended”

About: There hasn't been a time in my life that hasn't had multiple pets in it. I have worked on farms and in a vet hospital and the joy of making an animal happy never goes away. I currently have 2 small dogs and 3 cats, the oldest being 20 years old. I would love the opportunity to help you care for your animals. i work remote and therefore have the ability to schedule my work around the needs of any animals I might be taking care of while their humans are away! Having a dog with behavioral issues for years taught me a great deal about how to work with and understand dogs better. Each animal is unique but I find that with enough patience and scritches you can make most tails wag.

“This was our first time using Rover and Sarah was awesome! She did a meet and greet so Oliver could meet her (and us?), which helped us all feel comfortable! And his first walk went off without a hitch- we even got lots of pics to see how much fun he was having!”

“Andrea is AWESOME! My pup loves spending time with her and is always excited to see her. She is reliable, caring and communicative. I’ve booked her several times and will continue to look for chances to work with her!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog owner with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. For the past 9 years, I’ve been volunteering with the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, where I walk dogs, foster, provide enrichment, and attend events to help them find them homes. I’ve also volunteered with cats at an offsite adoption location and had 2 of my own cats, so my experience spans both canine and feline care. I’ve walked and handled dogs of all sizes, energy levels, ages, and temperaments, including shy, nervous, or reactive pups who may need a little extra time to warm up. I fully understand that not every dog is ready to trust a new person right away, and I’m more than happy to do meet-and-greets to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, or just needs a potty break, you can count on me to treat them just like I treat my own dog. Please don’t hesitate to reach out - I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I currently have a flexible schedule and am available 7 days a week. Timing is flexible for me as well with a few days of advance notice. I am happy to speak to you ahead of time with any instructions and how you'd like me to care for your pet(s) in your home.
