About: Hi, I’m Melanie! I am 30 years old and I have owned and taken care of 4 dogs, 8 cats, and 2 rabbits in my life; as well as helping family and friends with care/training for their animals! I love being around all kinds of animals, big and small. That being said, I know every pet has their own individual needs and I love being able to provide that for them (training, walks, specific toys, grooming, etc). I have no problem giving medication, being mindful of allergies, or helping with any other special needs your pet may have! I’m a very active person, so I don’t mind long walks with your fur baby!

About: I've been a cat dad of my own and looked after friends' and family's cats and dogs for 20+ years, including those in good health and those with special healthcare needs, like regular medications, etc. I love playing with them and just hanging out together...Basically just being pals! I'm not working full-time currently, I'm available every day of the week for pet care needs. Right now my main responsibilities are to the beck and call of my own 7-year-old Calico cat Partridge. I am very adept at dealing with feeding cats and dogs, dog walking, cleaning/clearing litter, and socializing with cats and dogs at their own comfort level. I have experience with special feeding routines such as pill and oral syringe feeding, and with application of topical medicines/ointments.

About: I know I love to have the peace of mind when traveling that someone I trust is caring for my pets while I am away and I want to provide that same service to someone else. We recently lost our beloved Dexter after 14 years, so we are very much missing having a dog around to snuggle and take on walks. We also have a cat named Joey and he pretty much keeps to himself (until it is time to eat of course) and 2 small children. I am available to come to your house and give your dog walks and check-ins or anything else you might need. We will be sure to give your baby all the love and care they deserve while you are away :) During the summer months I am off from my full-time job so I have open availability. When school is back in session I am available anytime Monday-Friday after 3pm and open on the weekends. I will follow all guidance from the owner as to how you do things. It’s important to be consistent for your pet while you’re away.

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs and learning about different breeds. I’ve had dogs growing up and have always been comfortable around them especially big dogs. I have house sat before, done drop ins for friends and have done dog walking for my neighbors. I do work a majority during the day(M-S). But I am available on evenings(except for Thursdays). I’m off on Wednesdays, every other Saturday and Sundays Your dogs safety is my first priority. I will utilize a leash when needed, make sure the gate is always shut. Out on a walk I will make sure we stay on the sidewalk and keep distance from other people and dogs(I always say to set your dog up for success). About: For overnight care I will shower your pet with as much love and care as I do for my own. Any time away for you should not be spent worrying about your furry family member at home. I'm a college athlete so being active is my specialty but I do also love some down time. I love all breeds and have been apart of different rescue groups for about a year. I've cared for pregnant dogs, puppies, special needs dogs, big, and small and love each one like my own. My personal commitment to your family and pets is unmatched. I can cater my care for whatever your family needs and look to make lasting connections so the search for a good dog sitter or walker will be over. I currently am a student with two classes a day so most of my time is spent at home! No major commitments throughout the week so my availability it wide open. My dog is my family member. About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: As a lifetime pet owner, until recently, I have owned dogs for all of my life, and I’ve gone above and beyond in the care of my pets and their needs. I had my last dog from when I was in 6th grade all the way until I was a Junior in college. Through this time, I watched him develop from a puppy to a senior dog with senior needs, including strenuous lifting and even diaper changes. I am willing to go to the same lengths when caring for your beloved pets! Throughout my life, I’ve also helped my friends care for their dogs and pets. I understand the bond between an owner and their pets, and the sacred nature of letting someone else take care of them, even for a short period of time. I am currently pursuing an online Master's Degree through SUNY Oswego, and I am relatively free for the time being. I could fit your care needs into any of my days. With experience in caring for pups and cats, I can pretty much do anything you would need me to do in your home, from feeding, to walking, to crating, to keeping them excited and entertained.

About: I have had animals growing up my entire life. Currently, I have 2 cats and and 2 dogs! I fostered dogs, puppies, and cats all throughout college. I have a lot of experience walking, feeding, grooming, and administering medicine to animals. I have been an animal lover my entire life. About: I’ve always been around dogs and cats growing up. My grandmother owned an in-home dog grooming business that I assisted with from a young age. I’ve had my own family dogs since the age of 7.  Whenever friends or family have gone out of town, they trusted me to look after their dogs as well as cats. Currently I have a 3-year-old catahoula leopard / lab mix and an 8-year-old brown tabby cat. During the week I work 9-5 from home. I tend to have most of my meetings early in the morning due to time zone differences, meaning I have the majority of the day to look after your dog. On weekends my availability can start as early as 9AM.  I am typically available I don’t ski or snowboard – so you don’t have to worry about me being in the mountains. 1.     There are many outdoor parks near my apartment building, as well as a dog run in the apartment complex itself. My 3-year-old pup is extremely friendly and playful, meaning your furry friend will always have someone to keep them company, should they want a friend.
