About: I grew up with dogs in my family and taking care of dogs for my neighbors. My family began fostering dogs in our home in 2014, ranging from elderly pitbulls to chihuahua puppies. I have a cat with my roommate now, and have experience cat sitting in other homes. Since I have my own cat now, and my roommate often travels, I have become comfortable with regimented animal routines and cat mannerisms/behavior. Our cat is 6 with FIV, and we are attentive to his litter box, playtime needs, and diet. I understand cat behavior better with their cuddle and distance needs. I Will take time to get to know the animal before coming in with my “tried and true” methods. Every pet is different, and needs to be respected. I would give them a separate space and feeding area.
10. Paula S.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many different breeds since I was a teenager for family, friends and neighbours. I have been volunteering with a dog rescue for 6 years now. I currently own a 12.5 year old dog named Faith. She is a shepherd/Norwegian Elkhound. 103 lbs. I am working from home currently but I am looking for a new adventure. As long as I have at least 2 days notice, I should be able to make things work. I will come to your home where your pet feels more comfortable and I will follow the rules you late out for me regarding routines. If you need me for overnight service that is fine. My dog needs someone home at night

About: Family and friends have always trusted me with taking care of their pets because they know I love for animals and that I’m reliable and flexible! I work from home and can also work from my phone so I have that flexibility to work anywhere and anytime and set my own schedule. I’ve only taken care of pets in the clients home and they normally have a spacious yard or designated area in the home I normally walk and feed the pet and if the client states that they need play time I also incorporate that into the routine.

17. Emily Z.
“I had the pleasure of having Emily care for my beloved dog Morris and my precious cat Royce, and I couldn't have been happier with her service. Emily is a truly responsible and loving pet caregiver. She treated Morris and Royce with the utmost care and attention, making sure they were well-fed, exercised, and, most importantly, showered with love. Emily's genuine passion for animals shines through in her interactions with them, and my pets absolutely adored her. Emily is not only reliable but also trustworthy, and I felt at ease knowing that Morris and Royce were in her capable hands. She went above and beyond to ensure their well-being, even sending me updates and pictures during her visits, which always brought a smile to my face. I wholeheartedly recommend Emily as a pet caregiver on Rover.com. If you want your furry family members to be in the best hands possible, Emily is the person you can trust to provide them with the care, love, and attention they deserve. Morris and Royce miss her already, and we will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. In college I was a student manager for the women’s basketball team and was the unofficial team dog sitter. I work full time from 8-4 with a lunch break so I am able to let pets out and go on a quick walk during the day. I’m also able to take some virtual days to accommodate pet sitting for long weekends or other holidays. I have no pets in my apartment currently but they are certainly welcome. My place is very clean and spacious. I also am very neat and clean in other peoples homes!

About: I've grew up around all kinds of animal growing up. Being part of a family of 5 children we managed to convince my Mom that we can take care of dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, birds - even a chicken we found wandering the streets of The Bronx, NY. We currently have 2 Leopard Geckos & a Multi Breed Dog. We've done foster care with the SPCA of Erie County. I currently am a gig worker doing mostly food & grocery deliveries because of my commitment to homeschool my second child. Pet care and sitting gigs would obviously be a priority over delivery gigs on the days/nights that your pet is in my care. My children both want more pets but I have set our household limit! This would be a great way for us to invest time caring (and maybe cuddling) other people pets without the 10+ year commitment! Our dog is crate trained. Our leopard geckos are in a large tank. We would keep our dog & geckos in separate area of the house unless we have completed at least 1 meet and greet at least 3 days prior to the boarding. This meet and greet would likely take place on neutral territory and/or nearest dog park.

About: I have a very flexible schedule and experience working with family pets. I know how much they mean to people and will treat them as my own. I’d love to care for your fur baby while you’re unavailable, I have been caring for animals for 15 years! I have specific experience caring for pets of people with children and babies. And since I typically work with working families, I know that it can be hard to give your dogs the attention they deserve (especially when children and life take over!); therefore, I’d love to provide your pet with love and of course some play time fun. I’m a calm and gentle soul, never met a dog that didn’t like me! I have experience with small, medium and large dogs.
