“This young couple was Awesome!! My elderly cat hides from strangers when they visit my home and has never stayed away from us. Plus she is Very insecure and needy with us, her pet parents. We Had to find a sitter for her due to a death in the family forcing us to travel out of town for several days. I was very afraid she would be traumatized and maybe not recover, as she’s old and has a cardiac condition. She Refused to leave her carrier when I dropped her off, boding ill. BUT! Chelsea & Derek provided photos of Chelsea actually Holding her and said she even sorta got along with one of their cats. I didn’t think either was even possible. I don’t know How they accomplished That, some kinda magic maybe but this young, very pleasant and personable couple Obviously loves and has a way with animals. About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. About: Loving, cozy home close to the airport. I have taken care of dogs of all kinds from German shepherds to labs to cocker spaniels and pit bulls. My house is pretty close to the Buffalo airport. Great walkable neighborhood. I work part time so I have lots of time to spoil your fur baby! I have a large backyard. I have 2 cats that can easily be separated in my finished basement if your dog doesn’t like cats.
“Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”
About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

I have daily availability and lots of energy for walks and playtime with your fur babies! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I live in an apartment near the outer harbor. I prefer staying at a client’s house where your pets will be most comfortable! We love to go for walks and I have experience walking up to 3 dogs at once on my waist leash.
About: I’ve had both dogs and cats since I was 2 years old so I grew up learning to love and take care of animals! Aside from my home, I grew up around my aunt’s farm where we have anything from donkeys to chickens. It’s safe to say I’ve always been an animal lover! About: I grew up around and with dogs and absolutely adore them. From chihuahua’s to rottweilers I love them all! I was bit as a child so do have some fear when it comes to reactive dogs and would rather not sit for them. While my expertise is cats the more dogs I’ve sat the more comfortable I am. So not only am I helping you but you’re helping me :) My boyfriend and I both work 9-5 most days but can always stop by for checkins on our breaks. We sit together and work around our schedules to make time for the pets we care for. We have multiple cats as well as fish, frogs, and a lizard. We know how important routines are and do our best to keep your pet in their routine. We ask that your Rover profile is updated with all the information needed to care for your pet up to your standard. Some examples would be feeding and bathroom routines.
About: I know I love to have the peace of mind when traveling that someone I trust is caring for my pets while I am away and I want to provide that same service to someone else. We recently lost our beloved Dexter after 14 years, so we are very much missing having a dog around to snuggle and take on walks. We also have a cat named Joey and he pretty much keeps to himself (until it is time to eat of course) and 2 small children. I am available to come to your house and give your dog walks and check-ins or anything else you might need. “This young couple was Awesome!! My elderly cat hides from strangers when they visit my home and has never stayed away from us. Plus she is Very insecure and needy with us, her pet parents. We Had to find a sitter for her due to a death in the family forcing us to travel out of town for several days.
