“Morgan was excellent taking time to get to know Starbuck, a nine-year old Border Collie that's very sweet and quite sensitive, and make him feel comfortable. He was very happy to see her when she arrived. She listened carefully to all instructions and implemented them on the first booking after our meet and greet. We don't need pet care very often because we have family nearby, but Morgan will be our go-to sitter when ever we do! We recommend her very highly.”

I love being around animals and spend a lot of time at my fiance’s horse ranch with 13 dogs and 12 cats! Your fur babies will be in good hands❣️ I also will take photos and send lots of updates I’m about to start a new semester of online college, so my schedule is very flexible. I have open availability to come for drop in visits and dog-walking throughout the week, and am also free to pet-sit overnights any days including weekends. I will follow any instructions on your pet care exactly as you have stated them and I will send updates of your fur-babies, and stay by my phone if you have questions. In case of emergency, I can provide basic first aid and I am comfortable transporting your animal to the vets office right away if need be.

About: While my last 10 years of employment have been in the schools and therapy centers, I have been caring for animals since I was about 10 years old. I grew up volunteering at dog training facilities and learning “tricks of the trade”. As a former cat owner and current dog owner, I am a firm believer that pets are a vital family member and deserve all the love and care that humans do (sometimes more). I have currently taken time off from being a full time school administrator to focus on my family. While my children are in school and activities, I am looking to spend time with animals and help others keep their pets well-taken care of while they may be away or working. I treat each pet as if they were my own, and perhaps even better than because I know the peace of mind it brings knowing they are cared for and loved. It is important to me that their emotional and physical needs are met, however best suits them and their owners.

About: I have grown up in a pet friendly household and taken care of my neighbors pets frequently. I love being around both cats and dogs! I am on summer break so I have a lot of free time! I have an internship that is very flexible and once a week (ending soon though) but other than that I currently do not have any other things that interfere with my schedule. I like to create an environment for pets where they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love giving them lots of toys and playing with them, but knowing when to give them space or let them nap. I also love taking them on long walks or just giving them lots of pets :)

About: I have always had a dog in the family to care for, however recently this summer I cared for many pets over week long periods. I wake up to feed and walk my dog every morning so I am already in the groove of petting sitting from the moment I wake up. I am always cautious and safe when caring for my clients. At my house, I have a fenced in back yard as well as two friendly dogs that love to play.

About: My first dog was with me for 14 years and I now have an 11 year old. Raised like family and to be trail dogs. I walk twice a day and provide plenty of affection. I work from home. There is a morning walk and then an afternoon walk with potty breaks during the day. I can travel within the Massanutten and Elkton areas. I can keep them on the current feeding schedule and provide bathroom breaks as needed. Crates are acceptable and specific instructions followed. I have a friendly Fruggle who gets along with everyone. We do prefer dog friendly dogs.
